oh and i wish i could, i am going to learn this summer yay! but playing like that is gonna take ages of practice.(sp?)

ive played for 1 1/2 years, just over, and i learnt that after a year maybe. it didnt take too long to learn.

and i was kidding about the lying thing.

That sounded awesome. I've had a quitar for maybe 3 years, first aqoustic(yes, I suck at spelling) and then electric from, maybe one or two years ago. I can only play one song, like the first basic eevr, Smoke on the water. Really, that sounded wicked. The only thing I can really play is like Phantom of the Opera and other songs on the piano.

like i said on the description of that video, ive played guitar for 1 and half years, just over. i began on acoustic guitar january of last year, but it only had 12 frets, the rest were innaccessable. i asked mum for an electric guitar 5 months later, and got my encore stratocaster (not the one in the vid) for christmas last year i got my Ibanez Iceman IC300 (the one in the video)

Scarlette, i began with Smoke on the Water, it was the first riff i learnt. then i went on to Rock You Like A Hurricane (Scorpions) then Fear Of The Dark (Iron Maiden) Fear of the dark is one of my more complex ones, and i learnt it quite early really. things arent hard if you want to play.

ill be playing "Welcome Home(Sanitarium)-Metallica", the opening solo. you can find the real song to compare it to by typing Sanitarium into youtube.com and listening to it.

the other thing ill be doing is showing the "over and under" technique. ill be playing 3 songs using the over and under.
"wasted years-Iron Maiden"
"master of puppets-Metallica"
"Freight Train-Nitro"
each one will only last a few seconds, its should end up being about a minute long.

i got Sanitarium, but unfortunately there was a problem with the sound quality of the over and under video, so i scrapped that.

you might have to turn the volume up on your computer, its a little quiet. i played it clean (no distortion or "heavy rock" sound) because its slow and sounds better clean.

for you information (everyone) i did make a small mistake. i tried to re-record, but i couldnt even get as far as the mistake i made in the first place, so i gave up. its the best i could do.
