Holly Black is an average 16 year old pureblood witch. She is generally an easy-going, laid back person, and tries to avoid conflicts with other people. She knows what she wants in life, but until she reaches that goal, she is going to just take life as it comes.

Appearance:
Holly stands at 5’6, and about 120 lbs. She has green eyes that have a sense of mystery about them. She always wears black eyeliner to add a dramatic effect to her look. She has to wear glasses since she is nearsighted, however, she uses contacts instead. Her hair is of medium length, straight, and a brown color. When bored she might use magic to dye red streaks in it. She has pale skin, and hates to tan, usually because she ends up burnt. She has a tattoo of a star below her bellybutton and to the right.

Personality:
Holly usually is quite shy, and never knows what to say in a conversation. She isn’t good with making friends, unless they are the opposite of her personality, and make the first move. She tends to stay calm in most situations, is generally a passive person, and is just laid-back. She believes whatever happens, happens, and it’s for a reason. She is going through that rebellious phase, and is often seen causing trouble, and just doing things she’s not supposed to be doing. For some reason, Holly is very emotional, and can get angry at the stupidest thing, or collapse in tears with no warning. She tries hard to control this, and is getting better at it as she gets older. Also, with passing age, Holly becomes more and more power-hungry. She wants people to respect her, and fear her. She figures these feelings are a result of the suffering she put up with as kids teased her. She hasn’t had many hardships in life, and hasn’t experienced any life-altering losses. Wanting it to stay that way, she has become very protective of her family.

History:
Holly has been raised by her mother and father for 13 years. Before she went to Hogwarts, she was put into a muggle school to learn the basics- reading, writing, etc. There, she had a hard time making friends, and was often pick on. Perhaps the kids sensed something was different about her? This torment led to her not trusting most people, her fits of rage, and is responsible for her slight paranoia problem, and desire to kill.

On her 13th birthday, Holly began living with her uncle on the summer breaks, instead of returning home. When she resided there, her uncle trained her hard to become a servant to the dark lord. Her parents had no objections to this, as long as Holly was happy. So, every summer, Holly lived with her uncle. When they weren’t training, life was quite dull. Holly still had that ‘making friends’ problem, so she was usually found alone.

The only real friend she had was her brother, who was 5 years older than her. She would tag along with him and his friends, and even though they were older, they eventually accepted her. Since they were boys, their idea of fun involved some brutal activity, usually resulting in bodily harm. In her desperation to be accepted, she participated, but usually came out unscathed. As the boys got older, Holly became introduced to more deadly acts of ‘fun.’ One time, taking muggle drugs, and almost dying from dehydration. Another almost getting hit by a speeding train. She's become somewhat of a risk taker.

At her uncle’s house, Holly made friends with some neighborhood boys. One thing led to another and well…you know. Of course, her flings didn’t last long, and it was time to return to school.
Holly now focused solely on her training, and school work. In her 5th year, she was introduced to the possibility of becoming a Death Eater. When she returned for her 6th year, Holly finally became a Death Eater. The only people who know, obviously, are her fellow death eaters, and her uncle and brother. She had also made a few friends. Her best friend being Kristi Fitzgerald.

Holly recently got into a fight with a girl she didn't even get the name of. The girl attacked Holly, and Holly got her under the cruciatus curse for the first time. Holly almost lost control and killed her with the unforgivable avada kedavra, but she just cut her and left her to bleed. She bled to death and Holly has felt no regrets about it.
