Character's Appearance: Flame's basic features are always the same. She is tall and very thin with fine features, black hair and grey eyes. She often walks with a certain loftiness about her, and a cold glare in her grey eyes. However, she is not always like this. Sometimes her movements are quiet, less certain, and it is these times when she is at her most vulnerable.
Her hair styles range over time depending on her mood. Though always long sometimes she will have her hair perfectly straight, others curly and other times with a slight wave. She tends to change it daily, so don't expect to see her looking exactly the same twice.
Flame's figure is great and she's proud to show it off, usually wearing dresses which are better described as ' a piece of cloth' than actual clothes. But there is another reason for this. Flame's back is, in a single phrase, a piece of artwork. Engraved on her back is a tremendous and intricate design carved by no other than the Grand Sentinus. She wears it with pride. She is also branded with the dark mark, from times gone by when she still served under Harshing's icy wrath.
Character's Personality: Flame is, by far, one of the most diffiult students to get on with in Higwarts. her changing attitudes, her draw to power and now her unpredictable ways make her, if anything, scorned by many. She is obsessed with blood purity, and blood lines, and is making it her work to trace back the family trees of purebloods and find out who is related to who, how those of good blood living now can make children without making an inbreed with someone very closely related and, of course, into how muggle-borns get magic which is a power passed through blood.
She can be nice, when she wants to, but more often she is cold, hating, and very stubborn. A bit spoilt as a child, it shows in the woman Flame is becoming who is, like bother parents, more than a little sadistic.
However, unlike with most, Flame likes to feel the physical pain as well, perhaps because of how her mother treated her as a child who did wrong.
Character's History: Nine months before Flame was born, Bellatrix Lestrange and Coldstone Harshing were sent to Azkaban where they believed they would die. In their madness, believing they would be killed quickly, the two decided to enjoy their last moments. This resulted in Bellatrix becoming pregnant.
However, the two were not killed. Harshing was cleared and freed from the jail and Bellatrix gave birth to a baby girl nine months after initially arriving in azkaban. Bellatrix believed this to be a flame of hope of escaping and so the child was named Flame. The baby was taken from the new mother, who remained in the prison.
Flame was brought up by a little-known branch of the Black family in a way they knew would impress the woman who remained in prison. She was a pureblood child and she was spoilt more than expected. She got everything she wanted- brooms, money, all of it. She grew up getting her own way, learning to be a leader, and that in itself was the start of what became of the Lestrange child. The only way she wasn't spoilt was when she did something wrong, when she was severely punished with things like the cruciatus curse.
When Flame first joined Hogwarts she was a spoilt, evil child. She had no friends and she didn't want them. She liked to sit quietly, away from others- watching those who could never match her and all the time she held a single ambition- join the death eaters, for their ranks alone held what she wanted.
In her third year she finally got what she wanted- she found her way into their ranks using the one close blood relative who wasn't on the run- Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Coldstone Harshing.
But her dream did not last long- she lost her boyfriend first and then the dark lord fell at Potter's hands. It had been a blow at the time, but she was quick to recover from it. She had to get on with life and, with him gone, she could make herself better known.
In time a new power arose from the depths of the world, Grand Sentinus and his family. They swept through Europe with a beautiful leader and seemingly good causes which caught not just those like Flame but others. People who hated threats such as werewolves and vampires were quick to join.
By the time they got to England everyone had heard about them and Flame was captivated- the cause was good, she loved it, and she was quick to join. Many laughed at her for rushing into it at such speed but Flame didn't care, she felt it was right.
When Flame found out Harshing was her father it was not a pretty scene. Deep in the forbidden forest, curses flying everywhere, hatred flaring between the two. He didn't exactly tell her softly either, he just dropped it on her. To begin with she didn't believe it, but she could not deny that it made sense.
Over the months Flame got closer to the man names Grand Sentinus, leader of the family. She did all in her power to please him, had gladly had sexual relationships with him and at one point respected him above all else.
Respect which was, it turned out, wrongly placed. He raped her, told her she was pregnant and tried to send her with his priests who would look after her until, in a weeks time, she gave birth and she would once again be impregnated. An existaence which, it is honest to say, she didn't like. She argued with him and he cast a spell at her, claiming to have destroyed the child and she left, hating the man and all he stood for.
When she found out that the resistance planned to attack the family she plotted with then headmaster Milo Scone to go in with the family and attack the Sentinus. She did it and when he realised it was her tried to make her feel guilty. She didn't fall for it and stood by, watching, when the dementors sucked his soul from his body without a hint of regret.
