Flint Ashwood walked into his new classroom and smiled. This was going to be a good day. Or at least he hoped it would. He sat at his desk for students to arrive.

As he sat there he pointed his wand at the board. Writing appeared. It read:
Ingredients needed:
Caterpillar, Daisy roots, Leech juice, Rat spleen, Shrivelfig

Flame walked in and saw Flint behind the desk. She closed her eyes. Please... No... Anyone but him. she thought. Then, it happened simultaniously. The voice came in her mind but in reality aswell. Surely I'm not that bad. Flame wanted to run but refrained from doing so. Instead, she took a seat at the back of the class.

Kristi walked into the class and sat down in a chair in the back.

"Hi." Flame whispered.

"Stop talking, Flame." Flint Ashwood said, staring at her.

The voice was there, so was the reality. God, this was confusing. She fell into silence.

Holly came in, kind of surprised she was one of the first people there. Even though she liked potions, she took a seat near Kristi and Flame in the back. "Hey." She said to both of them.

Flame gave her a thumbs up, eyes not moving from the proffessor. She stared at him hatefully, wishing he would just disappear.

"Hey-o!" she said when she saw Holly. "hi" she said to flame quietly.

Oliver bounded into the classroom and took a seat in the middle of the room, in front of the three girls. He turned around and gave them a greeting smile.
When he turned back around, he read the board, wondering what they were going to be working on.

"Hi Oliver" she said when turned and looked at her

Weston came in and sat next to an extremely cute boy. "Hi, Im Weston" he said grinning at him

Oliver looked over at him. "Hey. I'm Oliver." He said, and he smiled slowly.

"This is Potions, Right" he asked. Weston scratched his head and flicked his fingers out of habit.

Oliver looked up at the board and back at Weston. "Yeah. Well, I hope so, at least." He said.

"So how are you today?" he asked, tilting his head a little bit, Kinda like a dog

Flint watched as his class filed in. "Hello. I'm proffessor Ashwood, your new potions master." he said looking around. "Today we are doing..." he was interupted.

"Shrinking potions." Flame said, staring at him coldly. "A simple potion which noone is sure whether it actually shrinks size or age. My guess is age." she said with a snide smirk.

"Correct." Flint said, staring at the girl. "But interupting in my lesson isn't a good thing to do. I want a word with you after lesson." he told her, passing the snide smirk back.

"Hate him. Hate him. Him and his bloody voice." she said, annoyed.

Erika and Diana both came in sat down near the back. Diana groaned potions wasn't one of her strong points but hey she was alright.

Aurora hurried in and sat down in the farthest seat back, not looking at anyone. Then, she slowly lifted her head up, grinning. 'This shouldn't be too hard to catch up,' she thought to herself. 'I wasn't bad at Potions back home. Not bad at all,' she grinned and looked towards her two new friends and waved slowly, giving them a small smile. 'I wonder how the rest of the class fares?' she started murmuring to herself and took out her journal, scribbling a couple introductory sentences and then put her pencil down, taking out her wand and playing with it absent-mindedly while waiting for the teacher to begin.

"Hey" she said to Aurora "so how do you think you will do in this class?" she asked her. She looked around and saw Erika, "hey"

Aurora shrugged with a small smile. "Not too bad, I'm guessing. I've been practicing since 3rd year on my potions, and I'm pretty good at the mixing and simmering because I dedicated special time to it. To be honest, this is one of my favorite classes. What about yourself?" She asked Kristi.

"Hey Kristi and everyone else," Erika said with a nod as Diana gave them all a small smile.

Noah tiptoed into the room, because it was as his custom, he found a seat near the group and smiled at everyone in general.

"What affect do shrinking potions have?" Flint asked, giving Flame a glance.


Flame heard what Flint said and her eyes conected with the glance from him. Just as she did his voice echoed in her mind. Don't say a word. Flame stared at him. Why did he hate her? She'd done nothing wrong. "Holly, that's him." she muttered to her friend.

A small smirk appeared on her face. "Really?" He didn't seem so bad yet. She'd have to wait and see what happened. She looked back at him, not wanting to answer the question he asked..It seemed rather obvious.

Flint looked around. "Ok, let me rephrase that does it make you shrink in size or decrease age?" he asked them, flicking a strand of hair from his eyes. Don't answer. he told Flame again.

Flame nodded. "Yes. That's him." Flame told Holly, staring at him in dislike. "He keeps saying don't answer. He really winds me up without anyone knowing."

Aurora glanced around the classroom with a puzzled look on her face. 'Why was no one answering him?' she thought. She slowly raised her hand, hoping that she wasn't just going to offer a wrong answer.

Flint saw a hand raised and smiled. "Yes m'dear?" he asked.

Flame rolled her eyes... He really was a prat.

"It decreases your age... ?" She looked up at the teacher, hoping she wasn't wrong.

Flint smiled. "Well, if honest noone is sure of the answer to that question. However, in my opiion, that is right." he told her and glanced around the room. "Right everyone, the ingredients are on the board and the method is in your books. Does everyone have their book with them?" he asked.

Flame rolled her eyes. Great. This was easy stuff. She'd made a cure for paranoria and this was all he could do? Amazing. But complaining wouldn't be a good idea. No, complaining wouldn't be a good idea, Flame. the voice came. Flame stared hard at Flint, or professor Ashwood as she would now have to know him, with hate. He was a b******. All he wanted to do was ruin her life. Flame began to get her things out.

Flint looked at Lestrange. "Not you." he growled. "Outside, now, Lestrange."

Flame's eyes narrowed. She really hated him. Flame left the classroom.
