Title: FF AMV

Squall Leonheart - October 27, 2006 07:01 PM (GMT)
Final Fantasy 8 AMV (Anime Music Video) to the tune of "If I Die Tomorrow" by Motley Crue.

this has taken me ages to do fully, but ive not been that dedicated. now thats its finished, i love it and im going to do another.

for those who dont know, and AMV is where you take little snippets from a game, cartoon or animated film (there are non-animated AMV's, for TV shows and films) and you put all the snippets together in your own little montage of scenes. then mute the audio and add your own backing track. the video you created then becomes a music video, and also a tribute to the thing you featured

everything in the video is from Final Fantasy 8, and is a trbute to the relationship between Squall and Rinoa. even if you dont like the game, or the fact it dedicates to a relationship, at least comment on the video please. same goes for the music, it wont be to everyones taste.

FF8 AMV

give me a good review and i might do more for you!

I was going to comment yesturday, but my darn speakers wouldn't work. Anywho I watched it and liked it a lot even though I've never really seen or played any of the FF.

Yes it worked well however I hated the font at the start but that was in game. Also perhaps it was a little long. I would have preferred the dancing scenes to be sliced right down and you could have sliced a few verses from the song as well. I felt the dancing scene went on far too long.

I liked the ending and the music worked well considering final fantasy uses classical in game. Yes it suited the emotion of the game.

However my immediate comment was "you missed the part where they leap into bed" lol!

Adam: the dance scenes go on for a long time, i know. however, when you only have a few hours of footage at the maximum to use, most of which is not solely Squall and Rinoa, its very hard to do a piece without using larger chunks of one bit. and typical AMV's last the full duration of the song, therefore some are longer. it may have seemed a long time for you if you are not in to Final Fantasy. i enjoy the legnthy videos.

thank you all.

wow

GREAT song

GREAT picture/Video choice

it sounds a bit like AFI to me

Squall Leonheart - November 1, 2006 06:37 PM (GMT)
ive not heard much AFI, but Motley Crue are very different if you hear more of them. sick love song and girls girls girls are much heavier

Drake Sparks - November 1, 2006 06:38 PM (GMT)
this is all ive heard from motley crue actually lol

i got a sick idea for an amv. how about scenes from the cloud/seperath fight, with MCR - welcome to the black parade in the backround?

Squall Leonheart - November 1, 2006 07:13 PM (GMT)
the scene in Advent Children?

i dont think WTTBP would work too well for that. there are songs that could be used. Linkin Park normally does good action AMV's

Drake Sparks - November 1, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
yeah they do. numb & the fight would be good

Squall Leonheart - November 2, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
the fight?

numb works well, crawling works best.

I like the choice of clips and music. can't think of anything that bad to say for once lol.

if you do another one i think it should be on the fight scenes and stuff...cos they rock.
yeah i've watched a few FF AMV's. i would be a fan of the games...if i had any of them or the console to play them on.

Squall Leonheart - November 16, 2006 08:46 PM (GMT)
fight scene FMV's are few and far between unless you use Advent Children, which is a b*stard to get the clips for i reckon. i dunno, maybe it could be done.

Modified Version

alright, so i remade the middle part, taking into consideration what Adam said about the dancing being too long

id love for, if you're a member, a 5 star vote on this, id like it to go higher in the rankings.

check it out

Wow, I really liked it! I've played a bit of Final fantasy too, not a whole lot but I have a bit.
The song really works well with the whole video and I think it flows nicely. The font looks good too!
great job :D
