Aurora walked hastily threw the streets of Hogsmeade. The cold winter wind was blowing hard on her face; she just wanted to find a warm shop to enter. She tightened her scarf around her knee and rubbed her hands together before crossing them over her chest. She pulled open the door of Honeydukes with much trouble as the wind was blowing the opposite direction for the door, so it made it hard to open. She stumbled into the room. The warmth hit her instantly. Also the fun atmosphere warmed up her spirit.

She looked around the store, people were making jokes with friends, laughing and trying out new candies. Unfortunately Rori hadn’t made any friends yet. She envied those who had mates. She looked at her shoes, she felt like a bit of a loner at the present time…

Kaden ran into honeydukes with some of his friends. They pushed him as he said somthing stupid and he bumped into a girl. " Bloody hell!" he yelled to his friends then turned to see what or in this case whom he bumped into. " Oh my gosh I'm sorry! I erm...sorry..." he said looking at the ground. He brushed some hair out of his eyes so he could see her out of the cornors of them.

Rori straightened herself up. "Nah, don't worry about. I'm ok." She smiled at the boy.

"Are you...erm...sure?" he asked looking up at her. " my friends are kinda...stupid..."

"I'm sure I'm ok. I dont think they meant any personal by it so." She shrugged, "Yeah, I'm Rori by the way."

" Kaden." he said simply. " Nice to meet you..." he watched as his friends left to go to the three broomsticks not even bothering to say where they were going. Kaden sighed and looked at Rori. " Uh...want to hang out for a while or something?"

"Um...Yeah sure, why not?" Rori said casually, but excitedly on the inside.

Kaden looked outside it still looked pretty windy. " well, it looks REALLY cold outside...but if you want to go get a butterbeer at like the Hogs head or something that would warm us up..."

Rori too looked out the window and saw it was still rather windy, her stomach rumbled.

"That would be great. to The Hogs Head it is." She said taking a step towards the door.

Kaden walked to the door and opened it for her. " ladies first." he said smiling then before he stepped out he wrapped his coat around him a bit tighter.

"Why thank you." Said before stepping threw the open door and facing the cold wind. She crossed her arms cross her chest once more, trying to keep her hands warm...

" No problem..." he siad smiling at her. " So umm...what house are you in?"

"Gryffindor. You?" She said begining to walk towards the hogs head, very slowly due to the wind.

" Slytherin..but if your one of those house rival people please don't make a big deal out of it...because I hate that whole house rival stuff it's so stupid!" he said sighing and finally reaching the hogs head. He opened the door and let her go in first.

Rori entered the Hogs Head and said thanks to Kaden. There was only a few shady characters in the pub. "Yeah, I'm the same, I don't do the whole: 'I hate you cos your in Slytherin and I'm in Gryffindor' thing. I just dont see the piont." She smiled at him kindly and waited for him to enter.

Kaden came in after her and looked around at all the people glaring at him. Mostly the scary looking people. " Lets erm sit over there, away from those people..." he said smiling. " what would you like?"

Rori took where Kaden had indicated. "Umm..." She felt awkward with all the people staring. "Probably just a butterbeer." She said with an uneasy smile.

" Okay be right back..." he said looking at the people and glaring. They looked away. He went and ordered a butterbeer and a firewhisky. He payed the bartender. " thanks..." he said before walking back to the table and handing her the butterbeer and sitting across from her. " there you go..."

She took the bottle and thanked Kaden. She looked about the bar and saw tat the people were no longer staring, she breathed a sigh of relief. "So." She said in a more bubbly tone, "What classes are you taking?"

" DADA, Charms, transfiguration..you know the ones most people take." he said smiling and adding. " you?"

"Um none yet. I'm only new here. I have to go sort out my subjects with my Head of House." She took a sip and added, "I think I'll take charms, herbology, transfiguration to begin with. What your favourite subject?" She said trying to make conversation.
