((Tamara was on the original lumos but due to a slight changes she has restarted here on the new lumos. But since her history is the same i have decided to post it here... I have split the biography into posts to make searching and reading it easier...))

Full Name: Tamara Tameeka Nightshade
Nicknames: Meeka, Mara or Tami.
Blood Type: Pure Blood Witch
Year: 4th
Age: 15
Birthday: Tamara's birthday is October 13th which is very end of the year making her too young for 5th year but one of the oldest in the 4th year.
Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw
Wand: Willow, 13 inches, unicorn hair.
Place of Residence: Middle/Eastern England.

Appearance
Height: Tall – 6ft (+ plus)
Build: Slender/Elegant
Eyes: Aqua Green - Environmentally caused by living in a Wizarding Forest.
Hair: Long neat curls, mud brown (Dark brown with darker shades thrown in).
Skin: Sick looking paper white. Freckles/beauty spots on arms and neck.
Weakness: Destroyed right shoulder muscle seen visible on the outside by a large circular scar. Prone to infections/viruses due to bad healing of shoulder wound.
Details:
Tamara Detests being plain, she hates it beyond belief. She tends to go a little over the top either way, shes either incredibly plain or incredibly weird depending on the day. This is much like her personality.

Weaknesses:Skittish, Reserves Emotions, Knows nothing of Muggels, Weirdness and general naivety, Builds up anger.
Details:
Although appearing very reserved and quiet on the outside Tamara often takes things to heart and gets rather inwardly upset. As you can imagine this often leads to a build up of anger at all the things she pretends to ignore. Its rather like a game of luck who the anger ends up pointed at, but the problem arises when she calms down and shes left with the situation to deal with.
On another note Tamara is like both halves of the scale, when extremely upset, angry or nervous she tends to go form one extreme to the other.

Tameeka (Thorne) Nightshade – Mother Deceased
Tameeka was a Ravenclaw when she attended Hogwarts and graduated tobecome a nurse at St.Mungos. She is also a pure blood witch Tameeka died when Tamara was only three.

Mortel Nightshade – Father Alive
Mortel was a Slytherin, a pure blood Slytherin and very proud. Mortel excelled through Hogwarts with a usual Slytherin attitude, his family’s reputation and his led him to a job in the ‘Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.’ Thus he travels a lot. Mortel always wanted a son never a daughter.

Moira (Manon) Nightshade – Step Mother Alive
Moira is a pure blood Slytherin witch who married Mortel barley months after his last wife’s death. Her face is bitter and hides her age. She gave birth to Mortel’s first son and follows him everywhere on his travels.

Mace Nightshade – Step Brother Alive
Mace is four years younger than Tamara making him just about 10. He will shortly be joining Hogwarts. He is not exceptionally clever and is much like his mother; bitter and petty. His hair is a light brown colour than suits his dark complexion; he is much the son Mortel has wished for.

Kiwi – Pet Owl
Kiwi is Tamara’s owl. Kiwi has been with Tamara since she was two when her father returned with a newly hatched Tawny as a gift. Kiwi is medium sized for a tawny and is brown in colour with specks of light brown littering his feathers. Kiwi is mischievous and loving. He is Tamara’s closest friend even though annoying at times, Kiwi is also aware of the issue between the family and tries not to deliver her stepmother’s letters. He also tends to pick out his feathers and give them Tamara as presents, often making himself look bold in the process.

BACK HISTORY:
Tamara was born into a strained family, Tameeka was a devout mother but Mortel was an often absent father.Tameeka used to often take Tamara into the Wizarding forest that sounded there home often, thus Tamara’s love for forests and magical animals. Mortel always seemed to be away on business but it is assumed this was when Moira came into his life, the pure blood Slytherin soon to replace Tameeka.

Tameeka seemed to grow very withered and ill during the second year of Tamara’s life for no apparent reason. After about a year of this unexplained illness died from an unidentifiable cause. Mortel was questioned but nothing was ever pressed against him. Mortel remarried only a month later to Moira. Shortly after the wedding Moira was announced to be carrying his child. His son.

Tamara was cared for by the many house elves; this did not hinder her learning nor her speech (although she does have a old English accent.) as she learnt from books and would often had proper conversations with the house elves. After about a year of this absent routine Mortel and Moira returned with Mace, Tamara’s step brother. This did not stop the travelling, but it seemed they would take Tamara along as a babysitter and someone for Mace to torment in his older years.Tamara grew up in this routine with no complaint, she had no friends nor had she been taught any exceptional magic other than what the house elves knew. In fact she preferred to stay at home than travel and she felt no compassion for her family, they were strangers that she lived with nothing more.

All considering Tamara did not turn out to badly, she was not hell bent on some sort of twisted revenge, nor did she ever believe her father and step mother to be behind her mother’s death. Till her tenth birthday that is; Tamara was never very trusting to begin with and she had suspected her father of some creature dealings and so she snuck her way into his office. Much to her horror among the many bribes she found masses of poisons and potions, some were not even detectable by magic, she had read of them in books. Shocked and horrified she rushed to her room and made a note never to eat or drink anything she didn’t see prepared.

By her eleventh birthday she was paranoid and skittish, and very untrusting. She had evolved the habit on chewing on cleaned feathers out of paranoia but it then became a permanent habit. She received her Hogwarts letter and was more than eager to attend…

HOGWARTS HISTORY:
Tamara’s first and second years were rather uneventful for herself. She faced no dire peril, spent most of her spare non homework time sneaking into the forbidden forest, and she even managed not to make any friends, much to her delight since she would find it hard to trust them.

It wasn’t until her third year that anything largely eventful happened;It was the last night before she would return to her home for the summer, and she was taking one last trip into the forbidden forest. It was virtually the next morning before Tamara had spotted the silver unicorn blood laying a path that curiosity caused her to follow... the path lead to a clearing in which Tamara found the unicorn just not in a good situation. The injured unicorn was distressed and startled, it had charged straight and Tamara who had then been crouched on the ground after tripping over a log . The unicorn’s horn pierced right through her right shoulder muscle, bone and all. The creature had become more startled and splattered with human blood so removed its horn and fled.

Tamara had been screaming in pain and shortly after she had passed out. All she remembered was vaguely seeing another person helping her, he was performing the Episkey spell but it only seemed to work weakly, so the person was probably another student. She awoke on the train nearing the end of its journey as she was awoke she had recognized the previous nights events by the sharp pain in her shoulder; the bone had been healed by the boy and the outside skin sealed but nothing inside had been healed. No one knew of her accident and no one has recently found out. She still does not know how she gotten onto the train and tells anyone who questions the scar that she, as a child, pierced her shoulder on a fire poker when playing.

She did not return to school straight after the summer she spent a little while away, claiming to be ill and since she was prone to infection it was likely. The school sent her work and when she felt her arm at least looked and moved less painfully she returned to the school, part way through year four.
