*Mel had decorated the apartment for Christmas a few weeks ago. The tree was in the corner of the living room that was right by Mel and Liam's room, and Mel had put all of the presents under it. Sure, it was only Christmas eve, but she was still really excited. It would be her first Christmas with Liam, and more importantly, Mark's First Christmas ever. She pretty much spoiled him. Most of the presents she had wrapped were for him, but it was his first Christmas, and he just deserved to be spoiled like crazy in Mel's opinion. Most of the stuff wasn't clothes or anything she had bought just because she needed them for him, but they were toys and books and lots of great stuff. :) She also had presents for pretty much everyone else, Liam, Kiley, Simner, Alex, and Ian.


She didn't care if they were going to come over today or not, because she was here and she was happy. For once she didn't care that she'd be doing the cooking rather than the house elves because Christmas Dinner was her favorite pretty much ever.

She sat on the couch reading "A Christmas Carol" while Christmas songs played in the backround.

I guess you could say she was a bit excited. :)*

*Liam walked into the room wearing his leather jacket and a santa hat. He grinned when he saw Mel* "Hellooooooooo merry christmas...." *He said as he closed the door with his foot and walked over, pulling her into a kiss, grinning against her lips*

*Melanie squealed and returned the kiss. Whenever she pulled away she said-*
Melanie:"I didn't know Santa was so amazingly handome!" *she grinned, saying this in reference to his Santa hat*"But I did know that he was the best person EVER."



~Mel

*Liam grinned* "Yeah.....what can I say?" *He asked, walking back to the door to take off his coat and shoes* "So how's everything? What're you reading?"

Melanie:"Everything's good, of course. Mark's sleeping in the other room. Oh, and I'm reading 'A Christmas Carol' because it's what I do around Christmas."



~Mel

*Liam grinned and went back to his coat. He pulled a vhs out of his jacket and went back and popped it in, tossing himself down on the couch next to Mel. He turned it on and "It's a wonderful life" came on. He smiled and put his arm around her* "I watch this every christmas....." *He said, not sure if she'd ever seen it before*

Melanie:"So do I! But I didn't know where the tape had went so...." *she kissed him*"Now I don't have to worry."



~Mel

*After about an hour of the movie Liam closed his eyes. He rested his head on top of Mel's and began to fall asleep*

*Melanie smiled*
Melanie:"Awww, is my baby sleepy?" *she joked. As if Mark had some sort of baby alert system, he started crying to let them know that he was awake*"Well I can tell you Mark isn't." *she stood up*"I'll go get him and then you can have your pillow back."


*Melanie came back a short while later with Mark in one of her arms, and his baby carrier in the other for whenever she got tired of holding him and needed to put him down. She sat down close to Liam again. Mark cooed and smiled, loving to have his favorite people so close to him. He reached for his daddy, wanting him to hold him*



~Mel

*Liam smiled groggly as Mark reached for him* "You only want me to hold you when I'm tired.......you're trying to kill me, arn't you mark?" *He asked, taking him in his arms. He moved so that his legs were across Mel's lap and his back against the arm of the couch. He smiled at mel before looking back at mark. He made a face to make him laugh*

*Melanie rolled her eyes*
Melanie:"And now I'm your footrest, too."


*Mark giggled, and put one of his hands over Liam's eye, like baby's tend to do when they want to touch something but they really don't know what so they just put their hand somewhere.*



~Mel

"Yes you can have it mark.......left eyes are highly over rated anyway...." *He said, leaning his head back and closing his eyes for a moment*

*Melanie laughed*
Melanie:"And then you can have my right eye, how about that?"


*Mark giggled and decided he wanted to touch Liam's mouth, too. He put his other hand over Liam's lips and giggled again.*

Melanie:"Are you going to take his whole face, Marky?"



~Mel

*Liam grinned, opening his eyes alittle to look at mark* "Now....you can't have those.....I need those. You're mummy might be upset if I didn't have them anymore..." *He said, looking at mel and laughing*

*Melanie laughed*
Melanie:"But if it's for Mark...I think I'd learn to live with it."

*Mark squealed ((I'm running out of baby noise words. I NEED HELP. I need to talk to Alice...lol.)) whenever Liam opened his eyes, but didn't move his hands.*


OOC: Remember whenever I could NOT think of a word for walking with crutches and Alice decided to be amazing and told me to use hobble? lol. Good times.



~Mel

ooc: lol, yes, good times.

*Liam sighed and looked at Mark.* "She's always on your side.........it's because you're cuter than me......"

*Melanie laughed again*
Melanie:"Pretty much." *she joked*"He might be the cutest thing on the planet, but you're the most handsome."

*Melanie slid out from under Liam's feet and kneeled on the ground beside both Liam and Mark's head ((that was way too confusing to type. lol.)). Upon seeing his mommy, Mark moved his hand from Liam's mouth and put it on Mel's nose.*
Melanie:"Yes, you can have that, too. I can always breathe through my mouth."




~Mel

*Liam grinned at Mark* "Here Mel...he wants you..." *He said, offering him to mel*

*Melanie pretended to look amazed*
Melanie:"Really, you do? You want ME?!" *she took him and held him*"I think that's the greatest honor anyone could get!"

*Mark giggled, purely because of how silly his mummy sounded since he was still holding her nose. Mel crossed her eyes so she could look down at his hand, which made Mark giggle more.*




~Mel

*Liam smiled and watched them. After a moment he closed his eyes, still grinning*

Melanie:"Oh no, you're not allowed to sleep just yet." *Mel told Liam*"Isn't that right, Mark?" *Mel stood up and put Mark in his carrier. Once she did, Mel started to tickle Liam.*



OOC: Mel is so untraditional. Doesn't she know that the guys are supposed to tickle the girls? lol.

*Liam laughed and moved on the couch so he was facing Mel* "Cut that out...." *He said as he reached out and tickeled her as well*

*Melanie laughed more, but didn't stop.*
Melanie:"No, I don't think I will."


*Mark was looking at them and was laughing solely because they were laughing.*



~Mel

*Liem rolled off the couch and picked mel up with ease, holding her so she was over his shoulder. He laughed and spun so he couls see her head in the mirror* "Comfy? You have a nice view back there...." *He teezed her, refering to his butt*

*Melanie screamed whenever Liam picked her up.*
Melanie:"You're right, I do!" *she said before smacking his butt and giggling*"Definatley not as nice as the one you have."


*Mel was glad that Mark had no idea what was going on. Actually, when she looked up in the mirror, she saw that he had fallen back asleep*



~Mel

*Liam grinned and looked over at Mel's butt.* "Yeah.......It's one of the best views I've seen in a while.....I tihnk I may have to keep you like this for a while*

Melanie:"I won't mind, even though the blood is rushing to my head and I can't breath very well, I'm perfectly fine with staying right here."





~Mel

"Well..........if it becomes a problem I guess I can put you down........but this is a pretty good christmas present in itself." *He said, grinning*

Melanie:"Yeah, and this is a pretty good way to die." *she joked*



~Mel

*Liam grinned* "What, upseide down looking at my arse? Oh yeah, one of the best....."

Melanie:"Mmhmm." *she was starting to feel really really dizzy*"Now can you let go so I don't die?"



~Mel

*Liam sighed* "Fine...if I have to...." *He said and litterally let go of her, only letting her drop a few inches before catching her, laughing*

Melanie:"Oh my god!" *she shouted before he caught her and she started crying*"Don't do that!" *She wasn't mad, just scared that she could've fallen*


~Mel

*Liam set her down. He was trying not to smile* "I'm sorry baby.....I would never let you fall...."

Melanie:"I know, but that doesn't mean that it won't scare me." *Melanie sat down on the couch and Mark woke up. She picked him up*"Your daddy wants me to have a heart attack, Marky! I love him just the same, though."

*She held Mark close and gave him a kiss*



~Mel

*Liam leaned against the wall and watched her with mark*

*Melanie looked over at Liam*
Melanie:"Don't be anti-social, come over here!" *she demanded with a grin on her face*"It's Christmas, we're family, we stay together."




~Mel

*Liam sighed dramatically* "If I have to...." *He grinned and walked over and sat next to her* "Better?"

*Melanie leaned on Mark a little, and continued to talk to Mark*
Melanie:"It's going to be your first Christmas, Mark!" *she told him*"And I got you lots of presents and you're going to have so much fun! Isn't that right, Liam? Isn't he going to have a lot of fun?

*Liam leaned in as well* "You don't even know how much fun you're gonna have...."
