*It was around 10 at night on the day after christmas. Kiley had left the hospital wing to go back to the dorms. She really needed sleep but she couldn't. Kiley went to Jayson's office and knocked on the door, needing to relax somehow* "Jayson?" *She called, hoping he'd be there. She was still pretty beat up after wat'd happened in the forest with bruises on her arms and back and face. There were a few cuts which were covered in bangages.She looked pale and alittle thin because she hadn't eaten in a few day. She closed her eyes for a minute, hoping he would answer*

Jayson was reclined in his chair, looking at the ceiling, he couldn't get Holly off of his mind for some reason. "C'mon in." He said quietly. Somehow he knew who was on the other side of the door.

*Kiley opened the door and stepped in half way in, leaning on the doorway* "Can I come in for a little bit?" *She asked weakly, having a feeling he wasn't compleatly happy with her for whatever reason*

"Yeah, sure." He said, his voice almost monotoned. He glanced towards the door, watching it slowly open.

*Kiley came in the rest of the way and shut the door behind her. She leaned against the door and leaned her head back against the door and closed her eyes for a moment. After a moment of silence, she opened her eyes and looked over to Jayson.* "Did I do something wrong?" *She asked* "You've barely talked to me...."

"No, you didn't," Jayson said, "I've just.... had a lot of things on my mind lately." That was a lie, he only had one thing on his mind. He couldn't tell Kiley that, She'd probably think I was thinking about her, he said to himself.

"What can I help you with?" Jayson felt as though he already knew the answer.

*Kiley let her heaed drop foward and she covered it with her arms* "There was an accident inthe forest the other night......and I attacked weston." *She said, her voice muffled from speaking into her knees* "I didn't bite him but, I hurt him , and I can't stop thinking about it and I can't sleep or eat or do anything, and I need out." *She looked up at him* "I just really need a way out......"

Jayson looked down at the drawer in his desk, not moving his head. He knew what she wanted, and he knew that he could give it to her. Looking back up at Kiley he leaned forward and said, "Pick your poison."

"Do you have heroin?" *She asked quietly, looking up at him*

Jayson nodded casually. As if she had just asked him if he were a professor. The fact that he was supplying her, didn't bother him. As long as it was just her, it was allright.

He pulled open the drawer, and placed a book on his desk. Opening the book, the pages had a square cut out, and a needle already filled with liquid lay in it. From a drawer above that one, he pulled out a long stretched out elastic, for her to wrap around her arm. He offered them to Kiley, sliding them towards her.

*Kiley stood and moved twords him. She took them in her hands and paused* "Will you shoot up with me?" *She asked wearly*

Jayson looked at his arms, clenching one of his fists. The scars from his previous rendevous with the drug appeared even clearer to him. He looked back at her, shrugged, and replied, "Yeah." He didn't exactly care about what was going on, it was just another day.

*Kiley passed it back to him so he could do it first. She moved a book out of the way and sat on the corner of his desk, waiting*

Jayson tapped his arm three times. He was so used to it now, he didn't really have to look for a vein. Taking the needle, he inserted it into his arm. Slowly shooting up half of the liquid that was in the needle. Passing it back to Kiley, he took out an alcohol pad, and wiped the tip of the needle.

*Kiley took the elastic and tied off her arm. She made a fist and took the needle, looking for a decent vein. She found one and injected the liquid into her arm and took the elastic off her arm. She tilted her head back, closing her eyes for a moment.* "That's better........." *She said quietly, feeling a little better*

Jayson laughed a little, "Good." He leaned back in his chair, just staring at his wound.

*Kiley looked up at him, a small smile playing across her features* "What was it that's been on your mind?" *She asked, rubbing her inner arm lightly where it was sore.*

Jayson smiled at the thought of Holly, "Just.... a girl." He felt his cheeks begin to blush, as he tried to hide his smile.

"What girl?" *She asked, figuring it wasn't her after the way he acted in class versus the way he was acting now.*

"You know her." Jayson couldn't keep the smile from crawling back onto his face.

"I know alot of girls...." *She said, smiling when he did*

"Well, this girl, I know for a fact you know." Jayson said looking back down at his arm again. In a way, he wished he hadn't shot up. Slouching down in his chair some more, he felt himself suddenly relax.

"How do I know her?" *She asked, leaning back on her hands*

Jayson thought for a moment, "I believe you and her have had fights before." Jayson said with a smirk.

*Kiley thought a moment before it dawned on her who it was. She felt her stomach churn* "Holly?" *She asked, looking back at him*

Jayson didn't want to admit it, so he lied, "Nope." He had a smirk on his face, hoping she would think he was serious.

"I don't really get in that many fights......." *She said, having a feeling she was right about who it was.*

Jayson shook his head, "Nevermind. The important thing is.." He paused for a breif moment, and let out a sigh, "We're here now. I think we should talk." His voice became more serious, as he changed the subject.

"Yeah...I think we should too...." *She said quietly*

"Well, say what you have to say first. Then I'll say my part. Ok?" Jayson felt his head begin to pound slowly.

"I dunno what I want to say.......Do you regret what happened at the black broomstick?" *She asked*

Jayson looked away from her for a brief second. Recalling their past fling. In a way, he did regret it. It was wrong on both of their part.

Contradicting his thoughts, "No.. Not one bit." He said, flashing her a smile. Although he knew it was very wrong. He liked it.

*Kiley smiled when he did. She kind of regreted it. She thought that weston deserved better than her, but she decided to lie to him instead* "No....I don't either...What did you want to say?"

"More of what I wanted to ask really..." Jayson said, "I wanted to know... if you have any feelings for me."

*Kiley looked up at him. She sighed and looked away* "I don't know....I love weston, and I feel so horrible for doing this kind of thing to him.....but I don't know......" *She looked back to him*

"You dont know?" Jayson asked, curious to see whether or not she still had feelings for him.

"No, I don't know..." *She said, leaning her head foward and holding her head in her hands, gripping her hair in her fists lightly* "I don't know...I'm so confused......"

"It's allright Kiley." Jayson got up and walked towards her. Sitting down next to her, he placed one hand on her back, rubbing it lightly. "I'm sorry." He said sincerely.

*Kiley sighed. She felt comforted as he rubbed her back. It mad her think of how her brother would have comforted her, or weston* "It's ok....it's my own fault....." *She muttered* "I shouldn't have started this....you could loose your job, I could get kicked out of school...I just...I couldn't help it.....I'm sorry...."

"It's just as much my fault as it is yours." Jayson said, trying to cheer her up. He hugged her slightly, trying not to embrace her too hard.
