Lana stepped into a new room, with four beds and looked around the room to see if there were any other occupants. She saw a few bags here and there and looked for a free bed for herself. She expected to be kind of left out cause she was a knew and they would all know eachother.

She walked to the bed nearest the window, it had a great view and looking around it, it seemed free so perfect match. She put her bags on it and took off her zipper and placed it over the chair sitting at the bottom of her her bed. She looked over at her bag, not believing that she had to unpack it all. Might As Well Get Started she thought. She missed her family so much already. They were too close and it wasn't fair that she had to leave them yet again..

Casey walked into the girls dorm fully expecting it to be empty at this time of day as it usually was. "Oh" she said surprised casting her eyes downward as she always had done when around the company of a stranger. "Hello... You must be new" she said quietly having noted the unpacked bags as she stepped in. She walked over to her bed sitting crosslegged at the foot of it, placing her book down beside her.

"Yeah" she said, "But I'm In Fifth Year" she said, "How Bout You?" she asked and slouched onto her bed and looked to the ceiling.

"Me too... I'm Casey" She introduced herself. This was the way so many conversations had started before this. She blamed herself for never quite taking an interest in other people, she had always drawn herself away from such crowds, trusting neither herself nor them.

"So, what is there to do around here?" she asked, started to move things from her case with her wand. She was tired and yawned slightly, then made a Hot Chocolate, "Want One?" she asked, before she replied to her first question.

Casey nodded, "Please" hot chocolate had always been one of her favorite and she never turned it down. "Well on a good day the grounds are always fun, most people just like to hang out around there when they get bored or something. Or if you're looking for a quiet place the library is always good for that. The Astronomy tower as the best view as far as sunsets go, or if you want to look at the stars. The dungeons i try to stay out of, slytherins aren't the kindest of people even at the best of times. And then there's the room of requirement, a room to fit whatever needs you may have."

"Wow, sounds like a commercial for a dream holiday" she laughed. Then she made another Hot Chocolate appear, "Whipped cream?" she asked, adding hundreds to her own, this was the best cure for being home sick. She also had first classes to go to, thse would be a nightmare, once again, the new girl at school. Just great.

Casey laughed, "Sometimes it feels like one too." She looked at the hot chocolate, boy did it look good. "Oh yes please." She nodded at the offer of whipped cream. "Where did you move from?" she asked, curiousity getting the better of her.

"I moved from Glasgow" she said and scooshed some cream onto her hand, playfully and ate it, before piling it onto Casey's, then she realised, she hadn't even introduced herself. "Oh, and by the way, I'm Lana, Lana Brie." she said and smiled. Trust her forgetting to tell someone her name, "So," she said handing over Casey's Hot Chocolate, "Where do you come from?" she said and sat down on her bed, cross legged. Lana sipped on her Hot Chocolate, later realising that it was still boiling hot and burnt her tongue, she started giggling. Her bed was near Casey's so it made it easier for them to talk.

Casey smiled, "I've always wanted to go to Glasgow." she ate the cream that Lana had placed in her hand making a bit of a mess of herself getting some on her nose which she wiped off. "I'm Casey" she stated before taking a small sip of her hot chocolate, being cautious so as not to burn herself. "I'm from a small town just outside of Norwich." She admitted a small smile playing on her lips. She almost missed being at home with her dad. But she missed the hills and freedom more than anything else.

Lana smiled, "That must have been nice, living somewhere quiet and secluded. You didn't get much of that in Glasgow." she said, thinking back to her home, it really was busy and noisy. She was looking forward to spending time in the outdoors, when not buried in books and what not. She took another sip of her Hot Chocolate, causing her to have a huge cream moustache. She didn't notice though, just though she had got her upper lip slightly wet from drinking.

Casey nodded, "I loved it there... but then I came here and this became my home" she said as she looked about the room. Casey stole a quick glance at Lana and noticed her cream moustache, a soft giggle escaped her lips at the sight.

"What is it?" asked Lana, but as she did so, she felt cream move onto her lips. "No way" she said and giggled sofly, she brought out a mirror from her suitcase and came out in a fit of giggles when she saw her reflection. She wiped it off, then, started eating the cream. "Can't let it go to waste." she said and smiled.

Casey giggled happily sipping at her hot chocolate. "The cream has got to be the best part, it should never go to waste" she agreed licking her own lips free of the cream.

"Obviously, it should be a rule or something" she said and smirked. Then she took a drink of her chocolate, since it had started to cool. She stood up and put her drink by the side of her bed and lifted her bag onto her bed, and took out some of her more personal stuff, such as perfume and toiletries for example, since she had already removed her clothes.

Casey nodded in agreement drinking her hot chocolate. She watched as Lana began to unpack her things. "Do you want any help with that?" She offered, unfolding her legs and stretching them out about. "How come you moved here?" she asked curiously

"I'm almost finished actually but thanks for offering" she said and finished off putting her stuff on the bedside table and then put her toiletries through in the bathroom cupboard, since there were seperate parts for each of them. Then she returned cross-legged to where she was and picked up her drink once again.

"Well, it wasn't really up to me, more up to my dad. You see I'm half blood and my mum always decided what was right for me and what not, so she put me into a muggle school and tried to get me to become a model or actress, since that's what she did. But she left my dad, and he's a wizard, so he decided that I should move here, so that I could learn magic. So I basically know nothing apart from how to empty bags and clean dishes. Since that's all my dad did, hence the leaving."

She had done it again, spilled her guts to someone that she had just met, typical Lana. She shrugged it off and decided to take refuge in her Chocolate Mug. Once finished she leaned back on her elbows.

Casey shrugged and finished up her hot chocolate as she watched Lana finish up with her unpacking. She looked into her empty cup and wished that she could have some more, but that would just be greedy. She looked up expectantly as Lana sat at her own bed and told of her reasons for being the new girl. "Oh.." she said pausing for a second, "Well if you need any help with magic I can easily help you."

"Thanks, that would be grea!" she exclaimed, it was nice to have someone to offer all the time, she wasn't used to it. Lana noticed that Casey's cup was empty. "Would you like some more?" she asked, fishing out the cream tub again and starting shaking it smirking. Next she brought out her wand and made herself one, ready to make another if Casey wished. She didn't mind being bad at magic, this was the only spell she needed.

Casey smiled, maybe this year would be different, maybe, just maybe, this year she'd find make friends. Looking into her empty cup Casey hesitated for a moment before saying, "Yes please!! Hot chocolate is the best!!!" She looked at the whipped cream a tiny smirk forming on her lips, cream was so yummy.

Lana had the wand ready as she knew that Casey would probably want one, seeing the way she was looking at her empty cup, so when she said yes it came as no surprise to her and she quickly took Casey's mug off of her and instantly filled it with the hot chocolate. Then, of course, she overflowed it with the delicious cream and smirked, hanging it back to her, cream running down the sides. "There you go, I think I over-done it though," she said and giggled lightly.

Maybe she wouldn't miss home so much this time round, it seemed like it wasn't going to be as bad as she thought..

Casey laughed taking the over flowing cup from Lana. "Thanks" she said ;licking her hands clean then wiping the cup free of over-flowing cream and licking it off of her fingers. "Not over-done... more like just right" she said with a smile eating the whipped cream of the top and acquiring a cream moustache

"Yeah" she laughed in agreement with her statement, then noticed that all her crema had melted, so in a state of shock, she didn't notice Casey's moustache straight away. She re-stocked her whipped cream into her mug and smiled in appreciation. Then she looked up and jumped when she saw Casey. "Now that's a picture" she laughed.

Casey laughed, "I think we're going to have to keep a secret stash of cream in here." She said laughing as she felt the cream moustache around her lips. "What it doesn't suit me?" she asked in mock sorrow. "I thought that I'd wear this for a while..."

"Obviously, and if we ever run out, we hop to the kitchens and get some more." she said and smiled, "Sounds like a plan." When she heard that Casey said she wanted to keep the moustache she said "Well let me help" she laughed and grabbed the can and sprayed it across the place where her moustache was, it didn't exaclty go to plan, spraying a little over her top. Her mouth opened agape(OOC:don't even think its a word).

BIC: "I am so sorry" she said, then suddenly started to giggle, but really quietly, Oh my god, I can't believe I just did that she thought, in shock.

Casey laughed, "That sounds like a good plan to me... but what if the kitchens run of whipped cream, what then?" she asked her voice feigning terror. AS Lana added whipped cream around her mouth Casey began to laugh, when she was finished Casey stood opening her mouth in mock surprise. "No you didn't!!!" she said and cream fell onto her lap and she couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter.

Whilst also being totally apoligetic for what she did to Casey, she burst out laughing as soon as Casey did, if she hadn't she would have burst. "Oh, I think I did" she just managed to say, laughing in between all the while. She started randomly spraying the cream into the air, she didn't mind if she was wasting a little, it was fun.

Casey hadn't laughed this hard since, well, ever. She loved being able to laugh. "Well it's only right to seek revenge" she said as she leaned over to take the whipped cream and she sprayed some on Lana;s face in an attempt to giver her a moustache. "There now we match" she managed to say in between laughs

Lana's moustache looked like an oddly grown beard in need of a good shaving and she said so, in between laughter of course. She was glad that she had been given this room, Casey seemed like she could actually be friends with her. "I think we need an emergancy refill on cream!!" she said in fake shock and real disappointment.

Casey laughed even harder at Lana's statement. Could it be that for the first time since she'd been here she'd actually make a real friend? She smiled at the thought. When she heard they were out of whipped cream she gasped as if in great distress. "I think a trip to the kitchens in our newly acclaimed beards and moustaches is in order!"

"That is a definite yes!" she said smiling properly, the most real smile she'd done in a long time. She stood up to look in the mirror that she had left out from earlier in case of another accident moustache. This wasn't exactly a mistake but still, it was fun. "I think we need to hurry, mine is disappearing!!!" she said in fake shock. "Lets go" she said laughing. "It sounds like it will be a laugh," she said. I wonder who we'll meet she though. It was fine with her, she didn't know anyone yet.

Casey stood up and peered into the mirror. "You knw, I think I like this look..." She said with a laugh as she pretended to pose with her new moustache. "Dontcha think? Plus I'll always have something yummy to eat if I get hungry." Turning away from the mirror she looked up at Lana a small giggle escaping her lips. "Alright... Let's go! To the Kitchens!!" she exclaimed as if proprosing a new adventure.
