Lana was really bored, as she looked out her window she though she was dreaming! She grabbed her black zipper and shoved over her furry boots and ran down the stairs into the grounds. She smiled and sighed, and began to spin around


It Was Snowing!!!!


She started to run around, feeling like a little kid. Untouched snow was the best of course! Lana wished that she had her snowboard and that there were some hills. She looked to the edge of the grounds to see lots of tall tree's, even though she was sixteen, she felt seven years old. She started to walk over to the tallest one and then began to climb.

When she reached the top, she smiled wider than ever before, watching the piles and piles of white snow falling from the sky. This.Was.Heaven

Finn was walking back across the grounds to the house. He had just finished his classes for the day. Glad someone is enjoying the snow... Finn thought. The cold made him shiver. He didn't recognize the girl, maybe she was new... Finn picked up some snow and compacted it loosely into a ball. He threw it at her playfully. "Sup?" He asked, "The name's Finn."

Lana turned round when she was hit with a snowball. She smirked at the guy. "I'm Lana." she said and jumped down and landed in a soft heap near him, while she was crouched over she picked up some snow and threw a snowball back at him and smiled. "Just, hanging around. You know." and smirked again, sort of starting to shiver.

"Good to meet you," He said, watching her jump out of a tree, "Do you erm... Always sit up in trees as a past time?" The snowball hit Finn in the chest. He wasn't wearing a jacket because he didn't think it was going to snow... He shivered in the cold. "It is way to cold outside..." Finn said.

"Not really, but cause it was snowing." she said, she apoligized when the snowball hit him, noticing he wasn't wearing a jacket. "Yeah, just summon a jacket or something" she said, putting her hands in her pockets. "So, what age are you?" she asked.

"No, I'm not that far from my home... I'm 17..." He said, brushing the snow off his front, "How old are you?"

"I'm sixteen." she said, rubbing her hands together,"Do you not stay in the school?" she asked. I mean, he could have left school but still, it was worth hearing from him instead of assuming things.

"I live up in Hogsmeade... I've... well... erm... Let's just say I'm not really welcomed in the Slytherin common room... I prefer to live on my own anyways... It's more peaceful and there isn't all the drama..."

"Oh, well, at least you hang about here anyway." she said, she didn't see why anyone would not be wanted in there own house's common room. I mean, she knew that Slytherins were supposedly not as nice as the others but, Finn didn't seem horrible at all.

"Actually, I will hopefully be around here for quite some time... I would like to train to be a teacher next year... I'm not sure if that's going to happen though," He said, looking at the snow piling up on the ground. It would take him a long time to magic the snow off his drive.

"Well I'm sure you'll be a great teahcer once you make it" she said and smiled, and looked down to the ground, not even knowing why, just automatically. To make it look lik she had actually looked down for a reason, she started to shuffle the snow around with her feet, causing it to pile up, then drop back down again. The snow was getting heavier, falling in sheets, like heaven.

Finn smiled. "It's really coming down out here isn't it?" He said, stating what anyone with eyes could see.

"Yeah, its nice" she said looking up into the sky, as if searching for something that she herself didn't even know. She started to shiver again, so crossed her arms over eachother and started rubbing her arms, trying to heat herself up. The snow may be beautiful, but damn was it cold.

"You should probablly be wearing a coat," Finn said. He was getting cold himself. "I think it's about time I head home... I don't want to get sick..."

"Oh right, okay" she said and smiled slightly, she was just starting to talk to him but oh well, "It was nice meeting you" she said, and looked up at the snow on the tree's once again.

"It's good to meet you too," he said, heading back towards his house. She seems nice Finn thought.

Lana watched him leave, and put her hands in her pockets and shrugged her shoulders. She looked back at the tree she had been on before, and wondered how long it would tak her to reach the top with all the extra snow on it. It sounded like a challenge to her, so she started to make her way over to it, every once in a while, glancing over at Finn walking away.
