Finn walked into the new years ball with Faith. He was wearing a tux and had his hair slicked back. The band started to play a waltz. "Would you like to dance?" He asked Faith.

Faith looked around and smiled, her hair was in tight curls around her face. " I would love to!" she said smiling.

Finn took her hand and led her to the dance floor. They started waltzing. "This is really nice," he said.

" Yeah It is...It looks beautiful!" she looked around then looked him in the eyes smiling.

Finn looked deep back into her eyes. The waltz ended and they started playing a slow dance song. Finn pulled her closer and put his hands around her waist. He danced for a while and then kissed her, slowly and softly on the lips. He lingered, almost waiting for her to kiss him back.

Faith kissed him back tenderly putting her hands around his neck smiling into the kiss.

(( *sigh* I have to go I'll be back in like ten miutes...))

Finn smiled back. "I love you," Finn said.

" I love you too!" she said softly into his ear.

The song ended. Finn didn't want the moment to end. He held her tighter in his arms, waiting for the next song to start.

Faith smirked as he held her tighter, she layed her head on his chest closing her eyes not wanting to let go of him.

Finn kissed the top of her head. The song still didn't start, and they were the only ones still dancing. He didn't care though.

Faith looked around when the next song didn't start, she liked dancing to no music with Finn, it was romantic.

Finn smiled. Everyone was staring at them, but Finn didn't care. He kissed Faith softly and slowly on the lips.

Faith kissed him back not pulling away this time. she smiled and kissed him tenderly.

The perfect moment was interupted by the orchestra starting another song. Finn just held her, that and nothing more.

Faith sort of jumped when the orchestra started playing but relaxed a gain when he continues to hold her.

Finn smiled when she jumped. Finn continued to hold her. "Do you want to sit down?"

Faith simply nodded and took his hand in hers walking over to an empty table.

"Can I get you a drink?" He asked, standing up to get himself one, regardless of if she wanted one or not

" Yes please.." she smiled and sat down looking up at him.

Finn went and got them some champaign. It was nearly new years, and Finn thought that he would ask Faith to be engaged to him again. But how to do it... He had already given it to her with food, so, maybe he would ask her in the crowd... He brought the champaign back to the table and gave her a glass. He had slightly loudened his voice. He tapped his glass to make everyone be quiet. He took her hand and got down on one knee. He looked deep in her eyes. "Faith," he said, "I love you, I always have and I always will. You have been my one, true and only love and I would like it to stay that way. Forever." He paused, "Faith, will you commit yourself to this relationship? Moreover, will you marry me when we finish school?"

Faith took the glass then watchhhed him for a moment, when everyones attention was on them Faith blushed madly but her eyes widened and she smiled ahhpily at what Finn had just asked her. She pased for a moment or two then sai. " Yes!!"

Finn wrapped his arms around her. He picked her up. It was nearly new years and he wanted his new year to start off with a kiss from his fiance.

Faith smiled happily at him wrapping her arms around his neck.

The clock started ringing. It finally reached twelve and Finn waited for her to kiss him.

Faith smiled and leaned forward kissing Finn softly but deepening the kiss as she put her hand on the back of his neck.

Finn returned the kiss tenderly. "Happy new year babe," he whispered softly.

" Happy New Year!" she said resting her forehead on his. " I love you!"

"I love you too." He said, dancing with her to the new years song.

Faith smiled looking around at all the other couples dancing then back to him.

Finn smiled, knowing that he had made Faith happy.

Faith smiled and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

Finn smiled. He returned the quick peck, with a long kiss. He lingered, never wanting the moment to end.

Faith kissed him back also never wanting it to end. She closed her eyes deepening the kiss slightly.
