Title: Not Sleeping

Claus Tsukuda - January 2, 2007 04:06 AM (GMT)
That night Claus was having trouble sleeping. He just couldn't get to sleep, So he decided to do a little star gazing. He stood out an open window, peering at the night sky thoughtfully. As he did so he hummed a song to himself quietly, letting the night's solitude engulf him.

Lana had been leaning against the wall at the outside front window. It was a beautiful night, and she hadn't felt like going to sleep yet. She didn't notice when a guy came and joined her, and she didn't think he knew she was there either, but when he started humming, she stepped forward slightly. She was now in sight, and she had hoped not to startle him. "Um.. hi" she said nervously, biting her bottom lip and twirling her hanging layer with her free hand, the other carrying a bottle of water.

His eyes grew large as the voice of another filled his eyes. Claus turned around quickly, and sort of sighed to himself. All this time he thought he was alone. But he was wrong, though the company didn't bother him that much. "Oh-..Hi." He had been facing her by now with his hand on the back of his neck. Claus stared at the ground feeling extremely awkward.

"Uh.. Come here often?" she asked. she noticed that he seemed tense and nervous, she was a little too but didn't mind trying to talk to him. While waiting for a response, she took a drink of her water. It was warm, great. She cast an ice spell on the bottle to cool the whole thing down. Cold water was always better.

Claus looked at her quickly after she said this, taking his hand away from his neck. "...Sort of." He wasn't there a lot, but he did go often. Claus usually liked going at night though. "I guess you couldn't sleep either." He said to her afterwards.
