Aric walks down the middle of the abandoned corridor, walking on the side wouldn't ever do, because that would be acknowledging their greatness, if they ever dared to appear. To him, such a confession would be perfectly unacceptable.

Aric has the day off, so he is explorig the castle, but the rational part of him tells him, that he is utterly lost. He starts out from the common room, and where was he now?

Raking a hand through his finely conditioned hair, he lets out a sigh of annoyance.

Holly slowly made her way through the castle, heading nowhere. She would probably find herself outside, staring at the lake and thinking, like she had been doing lately. She would have, had she not ran into a boy on the way. Not literally, of course. She wasn't that clumsy. But as she approached him, she found her eyes had automatically looked him over, sizing him up, noticing a certain air of arrogance, and..power, maybe? As it often hapend to Holly, curiosity got the best of her and she nodded to him, a confident "Hey." leaving her lips. She wondered if he would answer back.

It is a shock to Aric to find himself studied like he has studied. Mildly unsettled, he flicks stray strands out of his eyes as he turns. But still, he thinks, 'Hey'...what a lowlife greeting. Yet his face is a bland mask.

He opens his mouth to say as much, but then, decides against it, which comes out is, "...Hello yourself." He smirks lazily, because he does not know how to smirk otherwise.

Holly was a bit surprised that he responded. It didn't show, though. Her face was a mask of mild cheerfullness.
"I'm Holly." She said, a very small polite smile on her lips.. How she greeted everyone untill they started talking and their true colors began to show.

He nods, saving the name for future reference, should he ever make use of it. Aric's smirk changes to a vague, tasteless smile...as they call it at home, proper. "Miss Holly." He repeats after her, still trying not to let his smirk come back, not an easy task. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

He steps closer, just one small step, for no other reason than then that he feels like it, "...The name is Kaiser, Aric Kaiser."

"Nice to meet you, too." She said with a smirk and moved some of her dark hair away from her face. His step closer didn't go unnoticed, but Holly didn't react. She saw it as a good sign..he didn't seem shy. "Up to anything good?" She asked casually. Maybe he was one of those boring Ravenclaw-type kids who spent all their time in the library. She didn't think so, but you never know.

Aric gives her another look, and shrugs one shoulder, slowly. His smirk is back, the introductions over with. She will worship him in time, he is sure, if she does not, then she is an idiot. "...Suppose...that I was lost." Voice carefully measured, "...There is so much more to do at home, yet nothing here. Suppose you tell me." He leans against the wall.

Holly raised her eyebrows slightly, and smirked. "Well, probably the best things to do here is drink, durgs, or sex. Maybe swim in the lake, or have the occasional duel." Her face remained blank and serious, since she really was. She wondered if he was into those kind of things. Surely he was.. "Where is 'home'?" She inquired.

Drugs or sex, was it? And the people at home actually are idiotic enough to put this place on a pedastal, Aric makes a mental note to write home just that. He rubs the bridge of his nose, "...Drugs I do not touch, the body is too worthy of a temple to be marred so mindlessly."

Normally, sitting on the ground would be utmost disgrace when there are leather-silken couches about, but here, no such things exist, it seems, so Aric sits down on the floor. "Duels are always amusing, to be worshipped after victory, and sex..." he trails off, thinking of how disgusted his governess would be, hearing such vulgar terms leave his lips, "...I don't mind at all, since there is someone else to be beautiful with you."

He looks at her again, "...Home is a castle much like this one, except leather-silken couches do exist, and it is in Wales."

Holly nodded and shrugged as she stared down at him. "Well, whatever floats your boat, as they say." She was used to people looking down on her for her reckless tendencies. "You seem to think quite highly of yourself and whatnot. Slytherin?" It wasn't in an accusatory tone, but she couldn't hide the smirk that came to her lips.

"Think what you will." Aric hates the floor, he is never sitting again, it is cold and it feels like they haven't been scrubbed for centuries. He gets up gracefully, the only way he can't. "...Is it such a bad thing?" She is no stranger to smirking, that much he chooses to acknowledge. "...And yes, Slytherin. You must be one yourself." It is no quiestion, for him, it is a statement that he is more confident enough to make.

"You can think whatever you want of yourself." Holly shrugged, not really caring.
"And of course." She replied, as if it was obvious. "16, and one more year after this." She leaned against the wall, and bit her lip, just because she felt like it.

"Then we are in the same year." Aric isn't sure whether to feel relieved or happy about this. "...And yes, of course I do, because no one else will bear the wieght of my opinions for me."

Her words are belittling, but Aric is willing to overlook that for now. he flicks stray strands out of his eyes once more, "...And thank God for it too."

Holly nodded, not sure if it was a good thing or bad that they were in the same year. She smiled, finding his next words amusing, as she always did when people acted this way. "What do you do for fun?" She asked, truly wanting to know.

"For amusement?" Aric thinks for a minute, "...Well, Quidditch is always something to do, Latin classics. I play tennis sometimes, back home." He sounds like a homesick idiot. And he almost says 'sex' for whatever reason, but refrains from it at the last minute. Thankfully.

He sighs, bending to the inetivable, "...Miss, do you have time?"

Quidditch? Latin? Tennis? Holly smiled inwardly at how different this guy was. Not mocking him..she kind of liked it. "Time? Sure." She said simply, her attention caught now. She had nothing better to do.

"Yes, Quidditch, Latin, tennis." Aric affirms calmly, "...Sex too, if the oppertunities should come." He says this, only because everyone else here, is obviously used to talking like this. Utterly vulgar, but it is not a vulgarity that repulses him. "Would you like to have a drink with me, miss?"

A simple invitation, a mere outing to see how much he could learn, and by the looks of it, Miss Holly is in Slytherin too, so it cannot be that bad, can it?

"Well, those things aren't that bad." Holly laughed.
"A drink? Ok." She said easily, pushing herself off the wall and running a hand through her hair. She could hardly remember the last time she had a drink. "Lead the way, sir."

It is never easy admitting that one is lost, and for Aric Kaiser, it is harder than most. But having admitted it once before, the second time is noticeably easier. "...Unless you want to go around in circles for an hour or more like I have done...I think you've better rethink such a command."

"Oh yeah." She laughed. "I forgot. Sorry." She quickly looked down the corridors to determine where they were. "I think this way would be quickest. Would you prefer the Hog's Head, or Three Broomsticks?" She asked as she began to walk, her thumbs tucked into her pockets.

"Actually..." Aric prefers neither, he wants a quiet respectable place where he can drink champagne and wipe his mouth with silken napkins. The Three Broomsticks after some investigation is actually the cleaner of the two, and he is not impressed. "...What do you say to having a drink in the Room of Requirements? I will show you something you have never seen before, I gurantee it, miss."

The lazy smirk is back as he strides to catch up with her, realizing he has been standing still.

"That works, too." Holly said, looking back to him and waiting for him to catch up. Normally, she would have thought that suggestion to be a bit sketchy, but she had a feeling he was saying something with truth in it.
"Show me what?" She asked, hoping he told her and didn't make her wait.

"It will work very well, miss. Trust me." Aric smirk grows wider by the minute, any second now, he will be back on the rich man's turf, and she would have no choice...but to stand amazed. He is sure of it.

Shrugging lightly, he begins to twirl the diamond band he has about his ring finger, normally, Aric would have been polishing that ring every twentty seconds, but this is a strange place. "...You'll find out soon enough, miss. Or perhaps you can guess already."

Holly glance over at him, taking in his attire, manerism, attitude, and was pretty sure she could guess correctly. "I'll wait and see."
She turned to head towards the Room of Requirement, instead of the other way to go outside. For some reason, her curiosity mounting.
