Circe waited by the stairs, near the Great hall for Tanner. She wasn't one for dressing up and was more comfortable in jeans and converse but she thought she pulled her outfit off quite nicely. She was wearing a black and white polka dot dress clickie that went down a little past her knees and black shoes, with a small heel as she wouldn't be caught dead in stileto shoes. She would die trying to walk in them, it was like an accident waiting to happen. Her shaggy shoulder length hair was down, and curly. For once she was actually wearing s ome make up, but not too much, it wasn't that noticeable.

Circe waited, and watched as everyone else walked into the hall with their dates or by themselves. She fidgeted a little and not really knowing what to do with her hands she held them,wringing them every now and then.

Tanner looked down at himself. He was wearing a simple black tux, ne never thought he'd see the day where He wore a tux. She shook his head tightly running a hand through his long almost shoulder length hair as he walked down the steps messing with his tie. It was almost like he couldn't breath with the tie on and it was bugging the hell out of him. Once he got to the bottom of the steps he spotted Circe, he plyed with one of his lip rings nervously and walked over to her. " Hey...you look great..." he said smiling.

Circe looked around and saw Tanner coming towards her. He looked alot different than usual, he looked really good though. She looked down at her dress and pressed down the fabric nerviously as she too bit down on her lip ring. She had forgotten to take it out.
She smiled and blushed a little as he complimented her.
"Thanks."She nodded,still smiling."You too."

Tanner made a weird face and looked down at himself again. " no...not really...It feels weird and this tie is killing me..." he smirked.

"Ah well I think you look good, and yeah no worries...I'm not used to wearing dresses...so this is all very new to me."She chuckled.

Tanner smiled and laughed a little " Well you look beautiful." he heard the music playing in the great hall. He put his hands in his pockets and looked down at the floor.

Circe blushed a little and looked around and then at the great hall.
"Well then, should we go in?"She asked looking at him.

" Um..yeah..." he said putting out a hand for her to take.

Circe took his hand and smiled slightly. He seemed kind of nervous mind you she was kind of nervous too.
"Are you alright?"She asked.

" Uh, yeah I'm, fine..." he said with a nervous smile this was Tanner's first dance aside from the halloween dance which he left right when it started.

Circe raised an eyebrow and smiled."Don't be nervous."She chuckled,squeezing his hand lightly."It'll be fine." They walked into the great hall, where it was filled with lots of people. Circe was nervous, but she wouldn't show it. Lots of people made her nervous,she just wasn't great around big groups.

" Eh...I'm not nervous..." he said smiling when she squeezed his hand. The walked into the great hall and Tanner looked around it was amazing. " Erm..wanna dance?"

Circe raised an eyebrow and brushed some hair from her face."You so are."She chuckled and then smiled cheerfully at him."Sure."

" Okay you caught me I'm nervous this is my first dance..." he said blushing a little hiding up under his mass of hair then walked to the dance floor putting his hands around her waist.

Circe grinned cheekily."I knew it,there's nothing to be nervous about really."She shrugged and smiled."Just a dance that's all."
She moved in a little closer to him and put her arms around his neck.

As they danced he made eye contact with her once or twice then just looked around at all the other couples.

Circe put her head on his shoulder, and looked at all the other people dancing.

The song ended and Tanner didn't want to let go but he did. " Uh..want a drink?" he asked smiling.

Circe smiled a little."Sure."She said.

" okay you can go sit down if you want I'll be right back." Tanner said turning and letting go of her hands softly. He let out a huge sigh of relife as he carried the drinks back to the table. (( or whatever))

Circe nodded."Alright."She smiled and went to find a spot for both of them to sit. When she found a vacant table she sat down and waited for him.

Tanner came back to the table she was sitting at and set down a drink infront of her then sat beside her smiling.

"Why thank you."She grinned charmingly and took a sip of her drink."So."She said looking at him curiously before looking out at the great hall.

" No problem me lady..." he said smirking and taking a sip of his drink.

Circe smirked aswell as she took a drink.
"You know, before this thing...all the girls in my dorm were like freaking out because of this, cause they had to look perfect and everything...it was chaos in my dorm, I think I was the only sane one in there."She said chuckling a little.

Tanner smiled. " The guys were the same way..but I wasn't one of them..."

Circe laughed." I wasn't one of the girls either."She said shaking her head." They can get pretty hostile if they can't find the right make up omygosh."

Tanner smiled. " Well the guys weren't that bad they just didn't want you to get in there way if you did you got beat up....well that's kinda wht you said..." he laughed a little.

Circe laughed aswell."Well sorta the same thing,just a different caliber...girls are more vicious...whereas guys are more rough."She nodded taking a drink."But anyways."She smiled.

" So...erm..." he thought for a moment and couldn't come up with anything so just looked into her eyes.

Circe smiled and took the last drink."Yeah..."She said trailing off as she noticed that he was staring at her straight in the eyes. She blushed a bright pink and looked down smilng slightly.

He too looked down and cleared his throat. " I don't know why I'm so nervouse..." he said with a sigh.

Circe smiled slightly and wrung her hands togehter once more.
"No worries."She said quietly."I'm nervous too."

" i think I know why I'm nervous....well now I do..." he smiled a little he didn't want to sya that he was nervous because for the first time he liked someone so much and that someone was her, she was everything he wanted yet he couldn't say that aloud.

Circe tilted her head to the side slightly and looked at him curiously."And why's that?" She smiled sweetly and brushed some of her hair from her face.

Tanner smiled. " because...I've never like someone as much as i like you...adn I don't want to screw this up..." he said with a bit of a smile.

Circe blushed even more now, her cheeks going even more pink than they already were." Yeah, you're probably the guy I've liked the most since...well ever."She smiled." You won't screw it up."

" Well you never know..." he said with a sigh " But I'm going to try my best not to do anything dumb..." he smiled and blushed a little too.

"Well, I don't think you'll screw it up."She smiled reassuringly." We won't let anything screw it up."She nodded still smilng.

Tanner laughed a littleat her comment then took another sip of his drink.
