Simner ran into the Library with Melanie. Snow trampled off his feet as he had taken a shortcut though the court yard. Madame Pince skolded him and told him to be quite. Simner made a face at her when her back was turned. He laughed, and she turned and put a finger to her lips. He sat down on a chair and pulled Melanie onto his lap in a friendly way.

*Melanie sat down in his lap before realizing something and letting out a low whine.*
Melanie:"Kiley has my stuff which means she has my book...oh well." *she shrugged and smiled*"Let's talk simply to get Pince angry."


OOC: lmfao, sounds so much like me when I go to the library. Our librarian hates my friends and I. lol. Last Friday, apparently, I never stopped talking, but it's not like anyone cares, and she told me on Monday that I was being obnoxious so what's the use? lol. Ahhhh, good times. lol.

"Works for me!" he agreed and began to jabber on about christmas.

*Madame Pince kept giving them looks, but none of the students seemed to care at all. Mel ignored the looks and talked about Christmas, too*
Melanie:"Marky loved all of his presents! He got a lot of them, too!"



~Mel

"Oh did he like the magic raddle I sent him?" he asked. He was reffering to the rattle that played a song when you shook it.

Melanie:"He loves it! He doesn't know what to do with himself anymore because he has so many toys!"



~Mel

"Thats so cute!" Simner exclaimed. He was very happy to be Marks godfather.

Melanie:"I know! I love him so much!" *she exclaimed*"You have no idea, Sim."



~Mel

"Probably not..." he said even though he thought he might now. Simner started looking though some books on the shelves near him. He didn't know what he was looking for, but he knew he wanted to find something.

Melanie:"If you're looking for a good book, I suggest Oliver Twist, if you haven't already read it. If you have, read it again." *She smiled innocently.*




~Mel

"You know, I might just do that" he said finding it on the shelf with about an inch of dust on it.

*Melanie frowned at this*
Melanie:"What ever happened to good taste in reading? Really! That's one of the most classic books of all time and it looks like it hasn't been touched since I was born."



~Mel

"It probably hasn't" he agreed. "Its a muggle book... and this is mostly a libraby for studying" he tried to explain.

Melanie:"Well where else are they going to get the stuff that they read for fun? A bookstore? We don't have any money, we're poor students." *she joked*



~Mel

"We are? I gave you like 2 hundred galleons!" he said reffering to when he 'killed' himself.

Melanie:"Babies are expensive...so are apartments, and pubescent boys, and pretty much everything. I do have my 'emergency' money but...it's not really an emergency yet." *she sighed*"It's getting d*mn close, though. God I need a job...."




~Mel

"Don't worry about it If you need more money I have a little." He offerd.he knew he couldn't afford it though. She didn't have to know that.

Melanie:"No, I don't want you to help me. You need money too."


~Mel

"Not really." he said "Katherines living on her own. I just need enough for school and such."

Melanie:"I don't care. I just don't want you to have to give your money to me. It makes me feel bad even if you don't need it."



~Mel

"Alright" he said, like he was giving up doing something of extreme inportents to him.

*Melanie grinned*
Melanie:"Good." *She hugged him*"Thank you for being a good friend who knows when to stop trying." *she laughed*

Simner smiled "Of course" he said bowing his head slightly.
