Casey sighed heavily as she stepped outside. She paused for a second adjusting to the bright light of the outdoors. Taking a deep breath she headed towards the lake. She'd just spent the majority of the afternoon doing homework and studying, and she felt like a zombie. Shoving her hands in her pockets she took a quick glance around, there were groups of people every where, but few that she knew very well, nor really cared to start a conversation with. With a bit of a shrug she continued on her walk, glad to be outside. Casey hated being cooped up inside all the time, it just drove her insane. It was good to be outside, even if it was absolutely freezing.

Taylor had just arrived at Hogwarts. She was sorted into Gryffindor, but didn't feel like going to her dorm. She left her stuff inside, but went for a walk outside in the grounds. she spotted a girl who looked as if she wanted some company. She walked toward the girl, and said, in a cheery voice, "Hey. I'm Taylor. You okay?" she said.
