Phyre tossed her bag on the ground. Looking around and finding no one around she grabbed her skateboard and headed toward the little trail that lead towards the school. She put it down and looked quickly around again. Seeing no one she pushed off. She haddn't boarded in a while and need some time to think. Seeing a hole in the ground up ahead she ollied over it and picked up speed landing it and rolling away. Her short blue bangs covered her white eye. She couldn't see out of it anyway so it didn't bother her.

*Kiley had been leaving the grounds on her way to the apartment when she heard a sound that she wasn't used to hearing around hogwarts. She walked over and saw someone skateboarding....she was pretty sure that's what it was called. She wasn't entirely sure. She leaned up against the wall, watching her from behind, wondering if it was hard to do*

Grinding the tail of her board and watching the sparks fly from the back of it. she spun around and did a few more tricks. Jumping up and grabbing the back of her board she faultered and hit the ground hard. She wasn't wearing any of the saftey guards so she scraped her elbow pretty bad. Standing up and dusting off her pants she moaned at the site of her board. Two of the wheels had finally broke off. Looking up she noticed someone watching her. Eyes widening she quietly walked towards her bag.

*Kiley watched her fall and cringed. It looked kind of painful* "Are you alright?" *She called over to her, walking twords her, kind of dragging her feel alittle*

Phyre didn't answer she looked at the girl Making sure her bangs were still in the way of her blind eye. She shrugged her head and grabbed up her bag stuffing her board into the loop. the wheel popped off and rolled on the ground.

*Kiley picked it up and held it out so she could take it, still walking to her* "Do you need this?" *She asked, still trying to make an attempt at conversation*

"yeah i do" She said in a low tone. she reached out her hand holding it open. She was afraid the girl would touch her. she stood with the scared side of her neck faing away from the girl. That was all she needed someone to run away and start spreading rumors about her. She didn't need anyones pitty.

*Kiley placed the wheel in the girl's outstretched hand, then used the hand to push her hair back out of her face* "I'm Kiley, by the way....."

She closed her fingers over the rubber of the wheel and looked away. "phyre." She said shortly. looking at the girl phyre didn't know what to do. She wasn't used to being around someone for so long.

"What house are you in?" *She asked, not giving up on conversation*

She bit the inside of her cheek."Ravenclaw, you?" She asked slowly warming to the girl.

"Gryffindor......what was that you were doing earlier....?" *She asked, feeling really stupid for not knowing* So now she probably thinks I'm stupid and ignorant. great way to start off.... *She thought to herself*

"It's ummm called skateboarding"
She said looking at the girl with a little more interest."you've never tried it?"

"No.....I was raised playing quidditch." *She said with a small smile* "Is it hard?"

ooc: alright, I'm going to bed. lol, goodnight.

She nodded."very. you need tons of practice" She frowned."Whats Quid.....Quid..."

"Quidditch." *She said, grinning. She loved to talk about quidditch* "It's a wizard sport played on broomstick. there's 4 balls...a quaffle, a snitch, and 2 bludgers. there's 7 players. A seeker, a keeper, two beaters, and 3 chasers. The chasers job is to throw the ball into one of those 3 hoops...." *She said as she pointed off in the distance to the slightly visable hoops on the distant quidditch pitch.* "The keeper's job is to keep the chasers from the other team from scoring. Then, there's the beaters....they hit the bludgers at the players with bats to try to knock them off their broom....and the seakers looks for the snitch.....it's small, a wicked fast, and hard to see. But once it's caught, the game's over." *She explained* "I'm the captain of the gryffindor quidditch team....I play chaser." *She said, not even aware that she'd been rambeling on and on*

Phyre nodded "It sounds pretty hard" She said the word under her breath a couple times."Quidditch right?"

"Right" *Kiley said as she nodded* "It's not that hard...I mean, it sounds hard, but once you get the hang of it it really isn't. It's wicked fun......I love it. I've been playing ever since I can remember...my older brother taught me when i was little and he came here." *She explained* "Do you have any brothers or sisters?"

Phyre tensed when kiley asked if she had any brothers or sisters. she tended to shy away from family questions. She looked down at her board and fingered the wheel. "no. My parents died in a fire when i was nine."

*Kiley looked up at her, feeling really bad* "I'm sorry.........my mother's dead.....and I don't know where my dad is...." *She said softly, trying to maybe let her know that she wasn't alone and so that she'd trust Kiley if she wanted to talk about it, so she could talk to someone that knew what it felt like to loose their parents*

"I'm sorry. You know about your mom and dad." she sat down on the ground and pulled her bag open and pulled her sketch book out. Flipping to a page that had a woman standing in a garden she showed it to kiley. The face was blurry but everything else was clear as if it were alive."Thats my mom i can't remember her face but my aunt says i look alot like her." Phyre pushed her bangs out of her dead white eye and looked at kiley for a reaction. She wanted to make friends she just didn't want to loose them is all.

*Kiley took the sketch book and sat down as well.* "Yeah.....you do look like her......this is a lovely drawing...." *She looked up and saw her white eyes as she handed her back her sketch book. She didn't react like she was scared or anything, just asked in the same even tone that they'd been speaking in the whole conversation* "Did you get hurt in the fire as well?" *She herself had plenty of scars, from various transformations before she was old enough to use the wolfbane potion, that she kept covered...most of them, at least. Some were still visable on her arms and a particularly bad on on her neck that she kept conceiled by her hair. She didn't mean it offensivly, she was just wondering*


ooc: lol, if that post didn't flow it's because I was up and walking around and doing stuff while I was writing it and I don't want to take the time to go back and fix it. lol

Phyre was amazed that kiley haddn't ran away screaming that she was some freak show or something. "Yeah. i was hurt pretty bad when our house burned down. if my dad haddn't of pushed me back in my room i might have died." She said loosing the emotion in her voice. "what about you? i see you have alot of scars too" She bit her lip then shook her head." It's ok if you don't wanna talk about it i understand."

*Kiley glanced down at her arms and instinctivly covered them with her hands* "No, it's fine." *She felt bad for having to lie after phyre had told her about the fire and all...but she had to* "Once, when I was younger, I was staying at my aunty's house, and we were in a car crash.....that's where most of them are from...the others arn't very serious...just freshly healing cuts..." *She said, using the lie that she always did. She hadn't told very many people the truth, that she was a werewolf, due to some of the reactions she'd recieved in the past*

Phyre took the lie as kiley wanted her too as the truth. "wow, i'm surprised you survived." she said looking closer and not noticing anything odd.

*Kiley nodded* "Yeah...I'm fine, other than a few scars that I'm finally learning how to conseal with magic.....some of them won't though....they're too deep to be hidden..." *She muttered, absently tracing her finger over one of her scars that she could see*

Phyre shrugged and pulled off her gloves then rolled her sleeves up. "i have tons of scars from the fire. The magic that i can do won't cover these up even if they were really strong concelement charms." She held her arms out to kiley and showed them to her hoping she wouldn't look disgusted with the ugliness.

*Kiley looked up at phyre's arm* "Do they still hurt...or do you even have feeling there anymore?" *She asked, looking back up from her arm*

"I have no feeling from my finger tips to my shoulders. Sometimes it feels like their on fire and hurting. If you wanna call that feeling anything. What about you?"
She asked leaving the arms rolled up.

"No, I have feeling..it hurts when you press on some of them..." *She mumbled* "I'm really sorry...I can't even imagine having to go through that..."

"I'm used to it. Plus on the up side i can't feel anything unlike you. I wouldn't be able to live with the pain." She looked down at kiley rubbing one of her scars. " so whats your favorite class here?"

*Kiley paused a moment and thought a moment* "Um....I dunno.....the teachers here arn't that....wonderful...." *She said, thinking about harshing*

"What do you mean?" She asked hearing the under tone of kileys words. "Are they that bad?"

"You have no idea..." *She said darkly* "Te defence against the dark arts teacher is the worse...he physically tortures kids.......some of these scars are from him...." *She explained*

Fury bubbled up in phyre when kiley told her a teacher tortured students. "Thats not possible. They aren't allowed to do that..." But she had heard rumors about him around school.

"I know.....but it's possible...beileve me...ask anyone...except a slytherin....he's the slytherin head of house..."

"Thats nasty! sick, disgusting, horrible. How can he get away with it?" She felt the heat build in her cheeks and she took a few deep breaths. "I hate people like that someone needs to do something." She exclaimed.

"Don't you think we've tried? We've tried so many times to have him sacked, or thrown in azakaban, but it never works....."

Phyre bit her lip and thought. "maybe we an do something....i don't know what but someone has too"

"You can try.....but just be careful......if I were you I'd just stay away from him while you still can." *She said, wishing she'd had that oppurtunity*
