Phyre tossed her bag over the back of the chair and set her board down beside it. Sitting down in the chair she pulled a heavy book from her bag and sat cross legged in the chair. letting the book open to the marked spot she began to read.

*Leon came through the passage into the common room. He saw a girl reading and decided not to bother her. He sat down near the fire looking into it's embers*

Looking up from her book she watched the guy sit down near the fire. Instead of getting up and running to her bed she watched him quietly then pulled her note pad out. She began to draw his face and how he looked as he watched the flames of the fire.

*Leon saw the girl put her book down and walked over to her* "Hello."

She had gotten into drawing his face. All it took was one look at him and she could draw every charistic from memory. Phyre jumped when he walked over and greeted her. She pulled the book close to her chest not wanting to be embaressed about studying him.
"hi"
She said akwardly. She felt a little wierd with the scars on her neck showing but people were bound to see anyway.

"I'm Leon. What's your name?"

"I'm Phyre, Nice to meet you Leon" She hoped he wouldn't be mad she was drawing him.

"What do you have they're?" *Leon pointed at the sketchbook*

"I....Ummm I'm sorry i should have asked." She held it out slightly. "i was drawing you." She said a little embarassed.

"Can I see it?"

Phyre thought it was only right for him to see since he was the one she was drawing. She pulled it away from her chest and held it out for him to take and look at.

*Leon looked at the picture* "Hmm, very nice. You're good, I just want to make one change." *Leon grabbed a pencil and drew a small funny looking mustache on him* "And I still look good."

She laughed when he adjusted the picture and drew a funny mustache on the picture. "even better than the original." She rubbed her arm . "You know i can draw charictures. you know where the people look funny. it's one of my specialties."

"No thanks. Although I do look good with a mustache, only if I could grow one like that. I don't like using magic on things like that."

" I just recently got into the whole magic thing although i've know about itfor years."

"Really. I found magic fascinating as soon as I could do it myself, but I find the dragons even more fascinating, as well as other creatures you can find."

"Magic fasinates to no unend but i'm muggle born. My aunt and uncle and both a witch and wizard so i used to love going to their home. they would always show off to my parents." She laughed remembering what her life was like."what other kinds of creatures are around? I know my uncle had this thing it always was going after everything shiny. It was called..." She couldn't remember the name of it.

"Thinking, thinking." *Leon strained to think of the name* "Got it. Nifflers. One of my favorites along with the Diricrawl."

She giggled. "Nifflers. thats a funny name. Whats a ....didi...a diddrawl?"

"A diricrawl is what muggles call a dodo. Muggles think they're extinct but the diricrawls just have the amazing ability to turn invisible at their own will."

"wow if i ever need help in care of magical creatures i know who to come too." She said with a smile. "what do you do for fun leon?"

"I look for new secret passages, or hang out in either a tree, at the lake, or in the astronomy."

Phyre liked the thought of getting lost in secret passage ways. "Thats really cool do you know lots of tunnels?"

"Yes, I do."

Phyre smiled. "do you think maybe i could see them some time?" She asked hopefully. It would be very cool to look at the structure of the school.

"Maybe."

"maybe i could even draw something special for you...." She said offering as a payment for taking her.

"Sure why not."

She smiled and then looked into the fire. She was finally content with being herself around some people. She set her book down and settled into the chair pulling her knees up and wrapping her arms around them.laying her head back she yawned and shut her eyes.
"Leon you like the school right?"

"Definitley, it's a fun school."

She gave a short laugh. "Thats not what i heard from other kids. They think it's a horrid school."

"Yeah, they don't get to see the fun part."

She liked leon alot and smiled when he said that. "I bet you know lots of cool places...." She wondered what types of places he saw when he went through the passageways around school. "Leon can you tell me some places the passages have taken you too?"

"Some go to the kitchen, some go into classrooms, but my favorite is like a slide. It goes from the library to the lake."
