*Melanie was bored and felt like taking a walk. She didn't want to go outside, though. It was cold, and she could get sick. Besides, the castle was huge, why not walk around it? So that's what she did. Of course she had Mark along with her, too. She was humming softly as she walked and looked around, noticing things she never had before.*

Phyre had gotten lost. For the first time in her life she had no clue where she was. She haddn't seen anyone walk down this hall. She made a left and then a right. Comming to a hallway that went four ways mshe turned in a complete circle getting even more lost then she was before. She saw a girl. The girl was humming and had someone else with her. She didn't want to stay lost but she was afraid they would laugh at her. She sucked in a breath and walked forward.
"Excuse me?"

OOC: The someone is a baby. lol. Sorry, didn't say that.


IC:

*Melanie stopped and looked around. She saw a girl who was about the same age as her.*
Melanie:"Yeah?" *she asked in a kind voice.*



~Mel

Phyre noticed as she got closer the "someone" was a baby. A little boy in fact. Phyre loved kids. She smiled at the little one. "well i'm kind of lost. Do you know how to get back to the main corridor?"

*Melanie smiled.*
Melanie:"Lost? Of course I'll help you. Okay umm..." *she looked around, trying to figure out where she was*"Right. There's too many bloody stairs here. If we keep going the way we were going and turn right, we'll get to a staircase pretty soon and from there it's too complicated to bother explaining."




~Mel

She laughed and nodded. "So is this your brother?" She asked looking at the baby again.

Melanie:"Nope, he's all mine." *she grinned*"And I love him like crazy."


~Mel

"He's adorable.Whats his name? How old?" She asked following mel down the hall.She kept her eye hidden and her hands covered. She didn't want to scare him.

Melanie:"He's Mark, and he just turned 6 months." *she told her proudly. She was so glad that she hadn't seriously screwed anything up yet*



~Mel

"Thats cool. Does he talk yet? I mean besides the jibberish?" She said taking a gloved finger and tickling the baby under his chin.

*Mark giggled whenever she tickled him*
Melanie:"Nope, not yet. He will soon, though, he's a smart baby."


~Mel

She laughed at the little boy. "I love kids. My aunt and uncle had six kids all younger than me. i love them to death."

Melanie:"Aww!" *she exclaimed*"I do, too. And not only Marky, but almost every little kid out there. Mark's just better than them."




~Mel

Phyre laughed. All moms said that about their kids. "So where were you heading?"

*Melanie started walking, taking that as an 'OK' from the girl*
Melanie:"Nowhere, really. I was just walking for walking's sake."



~Mel

"Is it ok if i walk with you for a while?" She asked hopefully. She wanted to hold mark but she was afraid it was to soon and she was still a stranger.

Melanie:"Yeah, sure. I'm showing you how to get back, afterall, aren't I?"



~Mel

She nodded happily. "Besides i'm quite fond of marky poobear!" she said hoping the nickname didn't offend melanie or mark.

*Melanie laughed*
Melanie:"I think just about everyone is. How could they not be?" *she grinned again*"Considering he's the cutest, best, handsomest, and silliest baby there is!"



~Mel

She laughed and agreed. "Oh yeah! that face is to cute to say no too. He'd probably have me in tears in seconds if he wanted something. What can i say i'm a softy!"

*Melanie nodded*
Melanie:"Me too. Trust me, his cuteness is his weapon. I spoiled him so much over Christmas."



~Mel

Phyre laughed. "I would have too! if i had someone that cute!"Phyre smiled. "It can be hard at times too i know that for a fact."

Melanie:"The hardest thing in the universe!" *she exclaimed*
