Sylvia sat at her desk awaiting her students. She had a light lesson planned for today. Nothing big and special just something to help get to know her students and to help them understand her. Her robes were deep coloured of silver blue and a bit of purple designs all over.

Phyre sat down in the class. She was the first to arrive and didn't like speaking to new people only the ones she knew. She sat down off to the side where the shadows covered her bad eye. Hoping someone else would ome in and take the attention off of her.

Holly sauntered into the classroom, actually wanting to attend this time. She has always had an interest in astronomy. She took a seat in the back, as usual, and glanced around the room, patiently waiting for the lesson to begin.

*Melanie walked into the class and sat down in the middle of the room, eager for this lesson. She loved astronomy and was so glad that they had found a new teacher. A few minutes later (at seperate times of course) Alex and Ian entered as well. Ian took a seat in the front, Alex, however, hid in the back.*

"Good day class!"
Professor goggin anounced loudly.
"Welcome to the world of Astronomy."
With a wave of her hand a Astronomical model appeared.
"Who can tell me what this is?"

Phyre sat nervously in her chair. She had remember reading about these things in a book her aunt gave her just before comming to the school.
"Isn't it called an Astronomical model professor goggin?"
She didn't like all the attention she would be getting but she knew the answer.

"Correct! 10 points to ravenclaw. Now an astronomical model is a model of the solar system. it shows us all the planets and the rotations."
With a proud smile she waved the stubbly fingers on her chunky hands. A Lunascope appeared larger than orginal.
"This is a lunascope. It shows the different phases of the moon. Each of you will recieve one of these at the end of class. I want you to study these and make notes on the different phases Which will be turned in at the end of each month. All other work will be done in class. So from here on out everyone is passing. If you do not participate you will begin to fail."
From under her desk she pulled a large cauldron and set in front of the class.
"participants will recieve rewards. For those of you who show up toinight in the tower to study the stars. I will have a contest the first three students will get a weekend pass to hogsmeade. it will be on a non hogsmeade visit and it will be my treat. What ever you would like to do."
She grinned at the class and then clapped her hands.
"Remember tonight at 11:00 in the tower. Class is dismissed."
Professor goggin turned and fiddled with something then a huge balloon popped and confetti and candy showered the students.
