*Melanie was in the Three Broomsticks, where she and Liam had planned to meet so they could just relax together. Mel had left Mark with Kiley ((since I always make her leave him with Ian. lol.)) since she had offered, so now all she had to do was wait for Liam to arrive. She sat at a table reading a book as she waited, not wanting to get anything to drink before he came because that's how Mel worked*


OOC: Isn't that a GREAT reason? That's how she worked. I thought so too. lol.



~Mel

*Liam walked into the three broowsticks, quickly closing the door so that he didn't let in the snow and cold air and stuff. He hung up his coat by the door and glanced around to see if mel was already there. He saw she was, so he walked over and gave her a kiss* "Hey Love........were you waiting long?" *He asked, sitting down across from her at the booth*

*Melanie grinned, feeling any bad feelings that she'd had before leave once she saw Liam.*
Melanie:"No, only a few minutes. I've been reading, anyway, so it wouldn't matter if I had been. You know me." *she laughed before standing up.*"What do you want to drink? I'll get it."



~Mel

"No, I'll get it. Sit back down.....You want a butterbeer, right?" *He said, standing and walking backwards tword the bar so he was still facing her*

*Melanie rolled her eyes at him. Typical Liam, wanting to do everything even if she offered to do it. She didn't mind, though.*
Melanie:"Yeah." *she said as she sat back down*



~Mel

*Liam grinned when she rolled her eyes. He turned around and walked the rest of the way to the bar. He returned to the table with 2 butterbeers. Liam set one in front of her and then sat back down at his seat. He had decided to make an attempt to keep Mel happy, and he knew she hated when he drank.*

Melanie:"Thank-you lo-" *she stopped and stared at him with a surprised look on her face*"You're drinking a butterbeer?"




~Mel

*He half smiled and nodded* "Yeah......It's cold out. It'll warm me up. I was craving the taste anyway. BUt I mean, if you want me to get something else, that's fine..." *He said, starting to get up again, bluffing, just mess with her*

Melanie:"What? No! It's just-" *she was thoroughly confused by now, and was, at the same time, almost worried about Liam's sanity*"Are you sick?" *she asked, not being able to think of another reason why he wouldn't get something (a lot) stronger.*




~Mel

*Liam sat back down and took a drink* "No, I'm fine....." *He said, looking at her, smiling at her reaction* "I just wanted a butterbeer is all. It's ok.....I'm allowed to drink more than hard liquor."

Melanie:"I know it's just...you never do." *she pointed out, still trying to figure out why he did this.*




~Mel

"I know, I just.....I don't want to drink today. It's all it is Mel. Really."

*Melanie stayed silent for a moment as she tried to decide whether to try and get a better reason out of him or let it be. She chose the latter of the two*
Melanie:"Alright, if you say so." *she said before taking a swig of her own butterbeer*"So, how's your day been going?" *she asked him. She hadn't really gotten a chance to ask him whenever she'd seen him earlier*



~Mel

*Liam shrugged* "Same stuff, different day. What about you? How's mark?"

Melanie:"It's amazing right about now." *she grinned*"He's doing good. He's really happy right now since I left him with Kiley."

OOC: And I assume he'd already know about Mark getting tested.

*Liam smiled* "Good. Are you doing anything tomorrow?" *He asked, taking a drink of his butterbeer*

Melanie:"I'm probably going to breathe, maybe blink a little, and I might think some, too. Why?"



~Mel

"Wanna breath blink and think with me, over dinner?" *Liam asked with a smile, very pround of his line*

*Melanie suddenly remembered- it was the day before Valentine's day*
Melanie:"Of course I do!" *she grinned*





~Mel

*Liam smiled* "Good.......Do you want to go out somewhere or would you like me to cook for you?"

Melanie:"Whichever idea you like better." *she replied*


~Mel

"No. You have to decide. I want you to decide...." *He said, taking another drink*

Melanie:"Of course, you have to make everything difficult for me." *she thought for a minute*"I think I want to stay at home. Everyone's going to be in every restaurant, and I just want some us time. How about you cook the dinner, I make the dessert?"




~Mel

"No. I have rules. They're gonna be hard for you, but you're going to follow them. Ok? You ready for this?" *Liam said, looking at her, ready to tell her the rules*

Melanie:"Only if they let me help out, too." *she told him with puppy dog pout*"Please?"


~Mel

"Melanie, I have rules. I thought of these, and they're fool proof. Please listen to my rules. Please Mel?" *He said, pouting at her, trying to look cute.*

*Melanie grinned. He succeeded in being cute.*
Melanie:"Fine." *she agreed, sighing as she said it. She looked at him with a small smile on her face, waiting patiently for Liam to tell her his 'rules'.*




~Mel

"Ok..." *He cleared his throat* "Here we go.....Number one, you're not allowed to do anything. I have to wait on you all day. Number two, no talking about Mark. None. This is about us. No talking about him. I got Alex to watch him. I asked Kiley but she said she and weston would be 'busy'" *He said with a small smiled* "And three, you have to make all the decisions based on what you want to do. Not anyone else, you. Ok?"

Melanie:"What if you fall down and break your ankle, what happens then?" *she asked, not saying okay quite yet. No talking about Mark? That would be hard....*




~Mel

"Then I'll cut it off and toss it in the spaghetti sauce for more seasoning." *He said with a smile*

*Melanie smirked*
Melanie:"Okay, what if you become paralyzed over night and can't move at all?"




~Mel

*Liam sighed* "And what if a giant polar bear comes crashing through our window and tries to eat the bread? I don't know mel...."

*Melanie grinned*
Melanie:"I just want to help, but I'll follow your rules."




~Mel

*Liam smiled* "Thank you....What would you like to have for dinner?"

Melanie:"I don't care as long as we have something chocolate for dessert." *she answered, grinning*"So really, you could make brussel sprout casserole and I'd be fine as long as I knew there would be chocolate afterwards."



~Mel

*Liam smiled* "Ok. Well. You, love, need to stay at the castle tonight because I have alot to do and I need to work in the apartment and you can't see it."

*Melanie rolled her eyes*
Melanie:"Alright, I will. I won't send people to spy, either, I swear."


*The thought of sending Ian over to 'help Liam get ready', but really so he could tell her what was going on, had crossed her mind, but she decided that I surprise would be better*




~Mel

*Liam smiled* "Good. Thank you. You're gonna love it, I promise..."

Melanie:"Well of course I'll love it, you did it, and you'll be there!"




~Mel

*Liam smiled as he drained the remainder of his butterbeer.* "You don't even know. I'm pretty excited...."
