*Melanie was still at the castle, waiting for Liam to tell her that the apartment was ready for them. He told her that he was going to get it ready for Valentine's day, and that she wasn't allowed to see until he told her she could*

*Liam walked into the common room, wearing a clean white collered shirt and black dress pants. He smiled when he saw Mel* "Hello Beautiful. Happy Valentine's day.....Ready to go?"

*Melanie jumped, she had been expecting him, of course, but at the same time she hadn't.*
Melanie:"I'm not dressed up yet...." *she pointed out, as if it wasn't obvious. She was wearing her usual- jeans and a t-shirt. Something that she definatley just pick up and threw on. Her hair was still a little bit messy from the night She thought that she was going to be changing soon, but nooooo, Liam had to come and catch her off guard. She normally didn't care all too much getting dressed up, but it was Valentine's Day. Needless to say she was both a bit embarassed and frazzled with herself for not being ready*



~Mel

*Liam half smiled* "You don't have to if you don't want to, but if you do I can wait"

Melanie:"I don't want you to wait...but I don't want to look bad, either." *she was obviously torn between the two decisions.*"But since you forced me to let you do everything for me today...the least I can do is look nice, right?" *it wasn't really a question to him, it was more like her thinking out loud*


~Mel

"It's up to you..." *He said, sitting down on the couch, looking to her*

*Melanie made a whining noise as she made the 'tough' decision. It's hard for a girl, trust me.*
Melanie:"Okay." *she leaned over and kissed Liam*"I'll be back down here really soon, okay? And I don't mean really soon in girl-getting-ready time, I mean in normal human time." *she didn't wait for a reply before hurrying up to the girls' dorms; She didn't want to waste any time that could be spent with him.*



~Mel

*Liam smiled and called after her.* "I'll just wait here then...." *He said, then as soon as she was out of site, dashed to the boys dorm and grabbed a big box of chocolate and a dozen red roses for her that he'd gotten. He sat back down and waited for her*

*Melanie came down a few minutes later wearing a low-cut red shirt ((um, this one lol)) with a black cami underneath it (she still didn't go for the whole 'showing skin' deal) with a pair of black dress pants and high-heeled shoes. Her hair was done nicer and she was wearing a little bit of mascara. For Mel, this was a lot. Make-up and high-heels weren't her thing. She hurried over to Liam as fast as she could in her heels*
Melanie:"I'm even wearing hee-" *she didn't get to finish her sentance before she saw that Liam had roses and chocolate. It was traditional, but Mel had never exactly had a good Valentine's day before (especially last year's....), so it meant a lot. Plus she wasn't one to ask for a lot. This was all she needed. She squealed and ran over to Liam and hugged him*"You're spoiling me." *she told him, even though she knew that he probably already knew that*"Why are you spoiling me? You know it gets to my head."

*Liam smiled and stood when she walked down* "Because it's Valentine's Day...Happy Valentine's Day baby...." *He said, hugging her then pulling back to give her the flowers and chocolate*

*Melanie beamed and took the gifts*
Melanie:"Happy Valentine's Day." *she said*"You know, I have presents for you, too."



~Mel

"Really?" *He said with a smile* "When do I get them?"

Melanie:"Mmmmm, later. I want you to wait so you're excited by the time I give them to you."


~Mel

"Sounds like a plan..." *Liam stood offered his arm to her so she could take it and they could walk down to their apartment* "Shall we go?"

Melanie:"Yes." *She took Liam's arm and smiled*

They arrived at the apartment door. Melanie waited anxiously for Liam to let her inside.*
