Harshing had transformed the classroom into a full scale assault course, it felt like hell: red hot smoke and mist billowing over flames and mud.

The first task was to get passed a raging inferno then combat five dementors, then you had to ford a ponfd full of grindylows and finally battle Harshing, himself in a duel. He stood at the end of the course, the students were already in line.

(First person just tackle the assault course, pretend I'v already told you)

*Harshing had been kind enough to put Kiley first in line. She drew her wand and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly to calm her nerves before stepping foward and shouting* "AGUAMENTI!" *A jet of water shot from her wand at the flames. The heat among the flames was almost unbearable, but she knew she had to do it. She wanted to prove to harshing that just because she was a werewolf, and he and her parents had some bad history, she wasn't a worthless pile of garbage, or whatever he thought. She was going to fight like hell to get past these tasks.*


ooc: adam, I think you should do the actions of the object things so people don't god. Or at least do mine. lol. like, the flames and grindylows, and obviously you. We'd have to do our own individual dementor.

Harshing closed his eyes at the end of the test. His face appeared in the flames before kiley, smiling. The whole inferno turned to blue and rose higher and higher, becoming hotter than most could bear. The flames smiled then like a wave went crashing down before kiley.

*Kiley stumbled backwards and fell onto her back, knocking the air out of her lungs so she couldn't speak. Instead, Kiley concentrated hard and nonverbally preformed Aguamenti, trying to put out the flams before they came crashing down onto her, all the while gasping to regain her breath*

The flames were doused, harshings imitation in the flames vanishing.

*Kiley got to her feet as quickly as she could, which wasn't very quickly due to her lack of breath. Her legs were shaking slightly as she moved twords the pond with the grindylows*


ooc: is she supposed to go into the pond? or what? you can be the grindylows btw lol

OOC: Go into the pond to cross it... Or find another way to cross it.

*Kiley moved foward into the pond, the water coming above her stomach. She held her arms above the water, herr wand in her hand, ready for the grindylows...*

IT took harshing seconds to gain control of the grindylows minds. He made them swarm and attack the girl. Then he froze the water so it was almost ice.

*Kiley attempted to fire off some spells at the grindylows, but it didn't work compleatly. Then, the water began to froze. Kiley started shivering almost immediatly, still trying to get the grindylows. She could feel them scratch at her legs, even more painful than it would have been due to the freezing water.*

Harshing muttered a spell to make the grindylows attack more frantically.

*Kiley bit her lip to keep from crying out as she attempted to fight them off. She was shaking now from the cold water. Her thoughts were starting to become a little muddled from how cold she was as hypothermia started to set in*

"Dear dear," harshings voice echoes around the assault course. "The thick animal cant even get passed some iddy biddy grindylows" He laughed and made more grindlylows appear.

*Harshing's comment managed to penetrate the thick fog that was inveloping her mind, and gave her a reason to fight harder. Although her voice shook slightly, she managed to say the incantations that are supposed to get the grindylows to back off*

ooc: sorry, I don't really want to look up the spell. lol

The grindlows were imobalised leaving a clear path for kiley.

*Kiley forced herself to move foward even though she was having problems feeling her legs. She climbed out of the water, still shaking, and walked foward to face harshing*

Harshing didnt hesitate, a salvo of at least a dozen stunners erupted from his wand, while harshing twisted and danced around kiley - too quick to even notice. he became a rainbow blur, firing out crucios, stunners, flames, avadas and cutting curses at light speed.

*Kiley was able to dodge some of them, but was hit by a lot of them. Her arms were cut and bleeding as well as a gash on her back. She attempted a crucio, concentrating deeply on her hate for him. She also attempted a stupify, but was hit with a curse that felt like she was punched in the stomach and she doubled over in pain, closing her eyes in an attempt to block out the now-spinning walls of the room*

Harshing stopped moving and stood still, his wand trained on kiley.

"Accio Wand."

He looked at her with hate and sent many more cutting curses at her.

*Kiley's grasp on her wand was lose for the moment and it flew out of her hand. She felt her skin all over being sliced open. Kiley instictivly covered her face, trying to think of a way out of this...*

harshing grabbed her wand and it was turned to dust in his hands.

"You have failed the advanced assessment," he said with glee. "Get out. Next!"

"Kiley straightened up and lether head fall back and she swore under her breath. Kiley lifted her head and looked around for where her wand was. When she didn't see it, she felt a small twinge of panic* "Where's my wand?"

"I destroyed it you ignorant f*ck, now get out my sight, I already see enough muck without supplement!"

"But you can't do that!" *She yelled* "That was my wand..."

He launched at her and grabbed her arm, with a flick of his wand he aimed a breaking spell at it.

*Obviously, the spell hit her arm, and she heard a sickening snap. It only took a split second till she felt the pain. Kiley bit her lip to keep from screaming. She groaned really loudly and whimpered at the same time (really hard to discribe, sorry) as she squeezed her eyes shut to block out the once again spinning room. Hot tears leaked from her eyes and rolled down her cheek. Kiley sunk down to her knees, cradeling her arm, curled into a ball*

"Oh dear, Kiley has broken her arm...." He said in a mock voice. "You should be more careful you little cluts!"

He aimed a kick at her broken arm.

*Harshing's foot connected with her arm, and she felt pain like she hadn't in a long time. Kiley screamed in pain and cried harder. She felt a wave of sickness brought on by the pain and had to keep herself from throwing up*

Harshing, seeing no more pupils coming through the assault course headed out of the classroom, placing a cage around kiley - leaving her to die. He left.

OOC: Lets hope someone finds you lol.

*Kiley rolled over onto her back, panting and crying, trying to catch her breath. She felt like she wanted to die. And something told her she was going to.....cold, alone, and in pain. There was no way out of this one. She was going to die. Kiley shut her eyes and pictured weston's face, feeling her heart break that she wasn't going to get to tell him goodbye. Kiley opened her eyes and saw everything spinning, which made her feel sick. She rolled over and threw up, some from the spinning room, some from the pain. She lay back down and closed her eyes, hoping that Mel and weston and everyone knew that she loved them. She could feel the blackness and fatigue pressing in around her. Kiley didn't have the strength to fight it and gave in, letting herself slip into the void of unconciousness (sp)*

Carina, wanders in looking more than a little lost and asks "Is this the Defence Aginst the Dark Arts class?" She notices a cage wiht something inside it, she walks closer to get a better look. When she gets there she sees that the thing is a girl, and she looks dead. Carina gasps and her hand flies to her mouth, she starts to rock back and forth muttering "Oh God, oh God, oh God" When she gets the idea to take a pulse, one of the girls arms apears broken so she tries the other one.

*Melanie came into the room, expecting to take the class. But when she got there, Harshing had gone. All she saw was someone in a cage, and another girl freaking out. Melanie walked closer and realized that the someone in the cage was Kiley. She ran towards her and started screaming.*
Melanie:"KILEY!" *she screamed, falling hard onto her knees in front of the cage, shoving Carina out of her way. Melanie panicked, not knowing what to do at first. Healing charm, right. Helping out in the hospital wing all of those days had actually payed off for something. She started performing it on some of Kiley's wounds. Once a good number of them had been healed, Melanie pulled out a blood replenishing potion from her bag, which she always had on hand because she never knew what to expect anymore. She took the cork out of the bottle and supported Kiley's head with her other hand so that she could pour it down Kiley's throat. Once she had, she immediatley went back to healing the other wounds, knowing that all that would happen if she didn't was more bleeding.*

*Kiley groaned when she heard Mel shout* "mel......." *She murmered, not abble to open her eyes* "Don't leave me..." *She was able to say before passing out again*

*Melanie bit her lip. Okay, Kiley was capable of speech, that was always good. She turned to the girl*
Melanie:"We're taking her to the hospital wing, because this is beyond anything I can fix. Back up, I need to open the cage and I don't want you to get hurt."


*Melanie gave the girl only the time that it took to her to back away before casting a spell to get the cage open*
Melanie:"Bombarda!" *she exclaimed, and the cage burst open. She pointed her wand at Kiley*"Mobilicorpus!" *Now she and the girl were able to take Kiley to the hospital wing where she could get the help she needed.*
