Holly sat at a small table, a small stack of crackers infront of her. She had been trying to get a couple of hours of sleep, but just couldn't get her mind to stop thinking. She could feel a bout of depression comming on. She bit into a cracker as she thought back to earlier today.. the triumphant feeling as her first Imperius curse worked on Tristan. She wondered what Lucas would think of her doing that. Not that she planned on letting him know or anything.
She had changed so much, and didn't even know how she felt about it. Just a couple of years ago she would never have cheated on her boyfriend..or murder anyone. Part of it..the power and success..she liked. Of course, Holly was in too deep now to back out.
All this thinking was making her frusterated. Holly finished the cracker and knocked over the stack so they were all over the table. She glared at an elf that walked past, daring it to try and clean up the mess she made.

Asura walked into the kitchens, not exactly hungry, but he felt like tormenting random elves because it was just something to do. But walking into the...no, limping into the kitchens, that there was someone already there.

"...Well, if it isn't Holly."

Holly mover her glaring eyes to the door as Asura came in. She smiled a little as she realized it wasn't someone annoying or anything. "Hello." She replied. "Are you ok?" She asked, nodding to his leg, even though she knew he always had a limp. It was polite to be concerned, wasn't it?

"I'm well enough." Asura leaned against the wall, "Annoyed as ever, but fine." He eyed her, "...What are you doing here?"

Holly shrugged. "Thinking. Eating crackers. Want one?" She gestured to the table. "What are you doing here?"

"No. I don't eat crackers, and I don't think I ever will." Asura shook his head, "I've been up to the usual, really. I went home, and we got this huge chimaera."

"Well, someone's a little weird." Holly muttered under her breath, but didn't care if he heard. "Whats a chimaera?" She asked.

"Crackers are disgusting." Asura made a face, "A chimaera is this creature with three heads. It's quite dangerous. It took us forever to get a liscence for it."

"Oh. And here I am telling people I want to work with magical creatures when I get out of school." Holly smiled. "And um, is there a point for it? Or is it just a pet?"

"Well...no point really, it isn't exactly a pet either." Asura shrugged, "We just wanted to see how good we were at taming things now, the chimaera's the ultimate challenge."

Holly took out her wand and waved it, making the crackers disappear and sat on the table top. "hows it comming along?"

"Not too good. It burns down the barn on a regular basis." Asura smirked, "The last time, a bunch of idiots tried to 'help' and it didn't turn out, I think one of them got burned to death."

"Well, as long as you don't get burned to death, it's ok. Someone here need to keep that Finn in his place." Holly had a small smile on her face.
"You have a barn?" Is what she asked. From what she had been told, she had always pictured fancy, clean things in Asura's home life.

"...Eh." Asura made a face at the mention of Finnie, "I'm sure you're just as capable as I am. Don't put yourself down that way."

"Yeah, but he hates you more. Bothering him is more effective if you're doing it." Holly said.

"Oh, I feel so loved now." Asura smirked, "Well...but speaking of which, don't you think it's your time to get a plaything now? I mean, my brother and I have Finnie, you should go bug someone."

"I've got it covered." She assured him. "I kind of just wish he was a bit more feisty, you know? More fun. But..you can't win all the time. It's all good." Holly slightly swung her feet back and forth as she stared down at them.

"Eh, and moi? I wish mine were a little less fiesty." Asura sighed good naturedly. "It's annoying when the toy doesn't come to your beck and call, really. We should switch sometime." He was half joking.

"I'm up for it." Holly smiled at the thought of them talking about people as 'playthings'. Even thought that was pretty much what they were to them. "I bet you'd have fun with him."

"So yours is a 'him' too?" Asura thought for a minute, "Is he an angel or is he just a devil like my Finnie?" This was a terrible conversation, Asura was fairly sure that he couldn't have such a talk with anyone else.

"Yes. A gryffindor, too." Holly smirked. "And he's an angel." She sighed. "Which is why he hardly ever fights back to make it fun. But then, on the other hand, I just push him harder to try and make him fight."

"That's not very smart." Asura shook his head, "You should goad him, not push him so much. I'm never much for torturing angels, Holly. But as it were. I'll play with yours if you'll take Finnie off my back for a little bit. I tire of him."

"That's why it's so hard. Because theres no real reason to do it." Holly said, talking down to her feet again. "I'm actually just following Harshing's orders. But sure, we can switch for a bit."

"Harshing likes me almost as much as he likes you." Asura smirked, "I'm sure he will not mind. After all, I made Finnie much more aggressive than he started out with. Perhaps I can do the same for your angel."

Holly thought back to the last time her and Finn had spoke. He definately seemed to have changed since when they met. She wondered how much more he could have changed since then. "Well, I hope you do a good job. And I hope I can keep a handle on Finn."

"Feel free to threaten him with Zaurus if he doesn't behave." Asura suggested, smirking, "I'm sure you'll do fine, and I'll make sure your toy becomes something worth teasing."

"Why is he scared of Zaurus?" Holly asked. "And, just incase..is there anything you say that really gets him angry?"

"He just is, because even I get angry and lose my footing sometimes." Asura shrugged, "Zaurus is just Zaurus, and the insults that Finnie boy throws at him just bounce right back." He paused, "Not really, I think just showing my face kills him. Have fun with it, this game really has no rules."

Holly nodded, her eyes drifting around the room. After a moment of silence, she spoke. "Do you ever regret what you do..What you have done?' She didn't really known why she said it, but it was like the words just poured out of her mouth. "I mean..we're so young and everything. Theres just no way out now." She knew they've had this conversation before, but she couldn't help herself. "I'm sorry." She muttered afterwards, hating to show signs of weakness.
