Title: Meeting the Minister
Shade Veckelo - April 6, 2007 10:25 AM (GMT)
Shade, dressed in velvet plum robes, complete with hat, cane and briefcase waited outside the ministers office. If today was successful he would become a very, very wealthy man, a huge leap back into his old life.
He waited patiently.
Isobel Beckett - April 6, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
*Isobel opened the door to her office. She was wearing an elegant dress of a deep scarlet color.*
Isobel:"Please come in, Mr. Veckelo."
Shade Veckelo - April 6, 2007 05:58 PM (GMT)
Shade swaggered into the office, inclining his head in perfect timing to seem both confident and polite. He waited for the host to sit while he paced around the room without being too intrusive. The perfect set up from a born entrepreneur. He winked slightly flirtatiously waiting for her to sit down.
Isobel Beckett - April 6, 2007 06:10 PM (GMT)
*Isobel sat down, ignoring his wink completely. She had never exactly been fond of Shade when he was a tycoon, so she had no reason to be now.*
Isobel:"And you came here to talk to me about what?" *she asked*
Shade Veckelo - April 6, 2007 06:18 PM (GMT)
"Minister Beckett, I'm sure you think every breathing moment on how to ensure the safety of the people of Britain. Is there a way to be sure that there wont be another death eater attack, an inferi massacre or soul sucking dementor attack around the corner? There is no way to be sure. Yet."
He became serious then coughed while he opened his brief case. from it came a large, stylish crate with a hollow circle of black on the side(the "Dusk" logo.)
"Id like you to meet the Dusk SecureBox."
He smiled then patted the top of it. "Open" it opened with magic and out of it grew a wardrobe of compartments, shelves and other trinkets. A door appeared on the side.
"In these compartments is every item, potion, spell to rid any dark attack on any home. SOme of them are "dark detectors." " He opened one little compartment and pulled out three blobs of light. He placed one on the door of the office. THen he opened the door. The office filled with a screech.
"Silence." the blob fell silent.
He waited for the response before continuing with the next item.
Melanie Hunter - April 6, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
Isobel:"What would happen if I opened that door? Would it still screech, or is it set only to screech for strangers?" *she inquired*
Shade Veckelo - April 6, 2007 06:55 PM (GMT)
He touched the blob and opened the door again. Nothing happened.
"If a dementor enters, it will screech - it also detects dark marks and non-human presences."
He opened another compartment and took out what looked like a cricket bat.
"The darkness repeller. Not everyone can do patronuses or dodge unforgivables. So what happens if we could deflect these darknesses?"
He opened another door and a dementor came out of it. SHade wacked it with bat and it shied away back into its box.
"There are several other protecters etc.. which I can allow you to play with later. But what if all this fails? What if it still isnt enough?" he opened the door on the side and entered, closing it. The whole thing folded up back into a box.
Then he walked through the office door. "An immediate teleportation device to the ministry of magic!"
He had sold this. It was too good a product to pass up on. He waited for the response.
Melanie Hunter - April 6, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
*Isobel was impressed, but still wary of the possibilities of this product. She knew that Shade might be in this simply because he needed money and that it could possibly cause death when he actually sold it*
Isobel:"Prove to me that this will work for anyone and everyone and not harm them."
Shade Veckelo - April 6, 2007 07:05 PM (GMT)
He was slightly stumped but then walked outside and pulled out a random ministry member. He opened the box and pushed the man into the secret door then brought him back from the atrium.
"Is that good enough? - Imagine it Minister, one of these in every home, no more murders, no more deaths. Convenience, stability and protection in one product. You could save millions."
