Title: Let it out
Description: let the world know how you feel

Flame Lestrange - May 3, 2007 05:29 PM (GMT)
I don't know who you are and you probably don't know me, but I have problems- things I need to let out of my head and this is the only way I can think of. So if you can kindly read and if you have advice return it with my owl I would be thankful.

What can I do? I have this... friend and everything he says I do. He says sit and I'll sit, he says read I read. I don't know why- I don't understand it. I just have a feeling it could get me into big trouble one day. Trouble I don't need. I want to study, get a job and lead a normal life but if things continue the way they are then it will be impossible. I'll be kicked out of school, forced to get some rubbish job with little pay and I don't even know where I'd go. I can't go home, me and mum do nothing but argue as it is anyway and they can be painful fights. I just don't know what to do, I need help.

The hurting angel

She read through the letter and gave it to her owl, telling him to give it to someone- not knowing who it would be given to.

*Melanie had been sitting on the grounds studying for her O.W.L.s with Mark sitting on a blanket beside her when an owl landed on her other side. She looked at it oddly. She didn't have anyone that would need to write to her, so why was she getting mail?*
Melanie:"Are you sure this is for me?" *the owl didn't move, so she took it as a yes. She took the letter from the owl and read it. She thought about it before taking out a piece of parchment and what she would need to write with and beginning to write:

Hurting Angel-

This may sound insincere coming from me since we might have never met, but I do mean it. I know what you're going through. Things a lot like that happened to me not too long ago, too. I'll go through what you said in order.

1) Does he force you to do it? Meaning does he use imperius or threaten you or something? If he does, tell the headmaster. That sounds very elementary, I know, but he can stop it. If you do it simply because he says do it, tell him no. You had enough courage to write this letter, so I believe that you will definitely have enough courage to stick up for yourself. You have the right to make your own decisions, and though in a way you are, he's influencing them in a way that he shouldn't, which could be dangerous.

2) Why can't you lead a normal life? Sometimes all you need is help and support from other people, and if you don't have it, I'm willing to give it. One of my favorite places to go whenever I need a place where no one can bother or hurt me when I need to do my homework is the Room of Requirement. It's great for if something happened and you need to let everything out, too. No one will see if you don't want them to, either. Your life can be normal, you just need to figure out a way to make it work for you. If that means multi-tasking, do it. It's what I do and it's working out fine.

3) I'm sorry about you and your mother. That's how it is for my father and I, except I haven't seen him for almost a year now. He disowned me and I had to find out how to fight for myself. That sounds like what you need to do. If this happens, even though I hope it won't, you can tell me and I'll let you stay with me for a little bit. It'll be a tight squeeze since it's a small apartment and all of the rooms are already full (you'd have to sleep on the couch), but it's better than the streets and cheaper than a hotel. Until you find a place to live on your own, the door is open.

I really don't know if any of this helped at all, but I tried. Please write back if you have anything (and I mean anything) else to say or ask.

- M

Mel didn't know what to put for a code name, all of the things she thought of were lame. M was good enough, anyway. She folded the letter vertically ((I think that's how you would say it if you take the top of the paper down to the bottom but I'm not really sure since it makes a horizontal crease....)) 2 times before giving it to the mysterious owl. It took off, flying to a place that Mel could only imagine. She knew that she was going to be in a mess now, because now all she wanted was to find out who The Hurting Angel was so she could help her more.*
