Delilah walked over to the lake in her bikini top and short skirt. It had been forever since she was back here and she was more than excited to be back. Now that her boyfriend and boy toy were both gone, she was rather lonely, and craving some companionship.

Finn was on his afternoon jog. He had ran upwards of two miles and stopped by his usually resting spot, where he did his crunches and pushups. He saw a girl sitting by the lake. If he was single, he would have been interested in her, but he had just rekindled an old flame. "Sup?" he said as he began his routine.

Delilah looked over her shoulder at the cutie pie.

"Not much. I was just about to go for a swim."

She stood and slipped off her skirt, only to find that she was about the same height as the boy. "Care to join me?"

She adjusted her top and smirked.

Finn smiled. He didn't realize how tall she was. he didn't know many girls over 6 feet. "Maybe another time." Finn said starting his pushups. this girl was hot, but finn loved his girlfriend. "You should be careful. I knew someone who drown here."

Delilah nodded. "My twin had a little issue with the water a year or so back. She's okay though."

She reached behind her to fix her top, but only messed up her bow.

"Do me a favor sweetie," she knelt with her back to him, "tie me up?"

Finn got up off the grass and performed the task without a word. He normally would have avoided the temptation, but there was no one else around. He just pretended it was his grandmother. "Is that okay?" he asked.

She reached back and touched it, then leaned up on her knees, her bum jutting out.

"You tell me? What do you think?"

Finn went back to his workout. Not really looking, he said, "It looks fine."

Delilah raised an eyebrow. "Either you're gay or trying REALLY hard to ignore me. I don't understand..."

She stood, resting one high heel clad foot onto his stomach. "I work out more than you do, so I know I'm not fat...What's wrong?"

Finn had three options. He could either tell her she was the most gargantuan person he had ever seen, lie about being gay, or tell her the truth. He decided on a combination of the options. Finn continued with his situps. "How do you know how much I workout?" He asked her, acting guilty by answering a question with a question, "I'm not gay you know. I'm just not interested in you. I have a girlfriend who is much prettier than you are, and we have plans together. I don't need you in my life," at this point he stopped his situps, "Buh bye, go for you little dip in the water, oh, and try not to get attacked by something k?"

She giggled softly, suddenly recognizing the problem.

"You know honey, I could pick your lies from a lineup. If you had a girlfriend, you could've just told me. Not that it makes a difference in my day..."

She sat beside him. "And for the record, if you weren't attracted to me you wouldn't be this nervous." She smiled to herself.

"And I'd like to meet this girl if she's prettier than me. I'll give her an award, because I know what I look like, and nobody I've ever met in person has come close."

She stood up and walked over to the water. "Where's the squid today.... Squiddy? Come here boy!"

"I don't recall saying you were unattractive," Finn said, "I just said that you weren't as pretty as her." Finn smiled, seeing that she was crushing on someone... "By the way, I'm pretty sure the squid is a girl..."

She turned and raised an eyebrow at him. "We've met. And by the way, I never said I was unattractive to you, I said there's no way you weren't attracted to me." She stopped and looked down. "Did I say that right?" She rolled her eyes. "Anyway, Mr. Squid and I go way back."

One long tenticle came out of the water and gently wrapped itself around her waist. "Well hello there." She stroked it.

"And unless this girl is more of a Veela than I am, since I'm only half, I doubt she's prettier. Sorry to say, but it's genetically impossible." She chuckled to herself. "Like magic has anything to do with genetics."

She slid into the water and wet her hair. She flipped her hair back when she got back up, the sun glistening on her tan.

"And like I said, a girlfriend makes no difference in my day."

"Physical beauty is different than internal beauty." Finn shot back, "You only have the beauty on the outside. Let me tell you something princess, you can only skate by on your looks for so long. My girl has both kinds of beauty. That's why things are long term between us."

She raised an eyebrow.

"First of all toots, I'm not a princess, I'm a Queen. Second, I don't just skate by on looks. I've gotten the highest marks in school since I was old enough to go. My father owns, yes OWNS a charity for hungry children that I've been working for since I was six, and you know what? I know I'm beautiful inside and out. Besides, you and your little cute girlfriend were made for each other. I don't need a little boy like you."

With a snap of her fingers, all of her clothes were back on. "I like women better anyhow."

"Do you have to list every good thing you've ever done? Not everyone has had the opportunities you have. Good for you. It must be good to have enough money to do whatever you want. I wouldn't know, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I've had to work for everything I've ever earned in life." Finn took a breath to calm himself. "To each their own, I don't really give a damn about your sexuality because I'm not interested in you." finn said, "I don't judge people by stuff like that."

She raised an eyebrow. "PMS much? ANd what makes you think my family has money. We own a charity remember? All the money goes there. I'm here on a scholarship, I couldn't pay for it. And every cent I get goes back to the charity. My cute clothes? My designer shoes? Gifts from people that appreciate my looks. And I wasn't telling you my sexuality to get you to like me. Obviously I'm not interested. Not in someone so meek and sensetive."

She turned to walk away.

Finn let her walk away. It wasn't worth it. The only people that started charities were rich people, or people that needed the money. "Sounds to me like you should sell your clothes so that you have something to eat," Finn blurted out, he hadn't wanted to say anything else, but this girls was making him angry, "That is unless you are selling something else..." She did, come on to him, maybe she was a wh*re. I guess you want someone who's heart is as cold and black as your's. That's good, one less person for me to worry about.

At the suggestion that she was a prostitute, Delilah turned back to him and in a quick second, she had smacked him so hard across his face it made her hand red. "How dare you assume anything about me when you don't even know me! And my heart is not cold and black. Just be glad my wand isn't with me."

She turned back away and with the snap of her fingers, she was gone.

OOC: you can't apperate from hogwarts

OOC I've been on Lumos since the first one and it was already approved from the mods when Lumos FIRST came out lol. I'm a Veela. It's a special power we have. I can do most magic without my wand, including going from place to place and putting clothes on and little things of the like.

OOC: I know about the Veela thing but I'm not sure about the apparating thing. I just looked up Veelas and none of the articles I found say that they can do that. Even so, Hogwarts is guarded by powerful spells and even if it is Veela magic, there would be some kind of protection against it (logically) because even Veelas can turn out to be evil or try to harm someone.

So that's basically me saying right there: edit it. Even if they do have magically powers that enable them to do that, Hogwarts doesn't. The other stuff you can keep if you show me where you found that Veelas can do that.
