Darkness, it was all that surrounded the castle along with the silence which was to uncoomon within the grey stone walls. The little light which did exist was far above in the skies, the moon and the stars. Their silver light was hardly enlighting within the walls and as she ascended into the astronomy tower. It may have made other people feel happy, even if it was only a little, but this girl was trapped within her own mind.

That was the voice which filled her mind constantly, egging her to cause much more trouble than she had yet. Mass murder, sending more people crazy: any such thing was in her mind.
