Finn was sitting on the floor outside the boy's bathroom. He had nothing better to do. Maybe someone had some news for him.

She had a mission: find Finn. The reason? She had news, which she didn't think he would like very much but he ought to know. But she had been searching long and hard until she finally saw him, sitting on the floor and looking rather bored.

She swept over, her pale face and black hair shining slightly in the dim light from a nearby torch which lit the wall. "Finn? Can I talk to you?" she asked.

Their last encounter hadn't been a good one. "Yeah, what?" Finn asked. He took a pull from his hip flask. It was gin, odorless, so the teachers would be none the wiser.

She looked at him, looking slightly embarrased. It was all staged, of course, but she needed it to seem real. "Well... I heard your with that Faith girl, right?" she paused, looking at her feet before continuing. "It's just I saw her... well getting rather kinky..." she stopped again, looking at him. "With another girl, Delilah."

"What are you talking about?" Finn asked, "She's been out of town with her family..."

Flame rose a brow for a second then shook her head. "And you feel confident in that do you?"

Finn thought things had changed. How could he have been so ignorant. She was just playing him so that she'd have a place to live. "No," Finn said, "I guess I don't." Frustration was setting in. Things were going so good for them, but now, he didn't know how he could forgive her... "By the way, how do you know this?"

Flame looked around, as if checking noone was around. After all, this was a private matter which, if Finn didn't want anyone to know they didn't have to. "Well... Delilah was showing me some pretty saucy pictures over beakfast- it was rather disturbing."

"I'll kill her." Finn said, not knowing if he meant Delilah or Faith. He had some thinking to do.

Flame sighed, time to keep Finn working to his own principles- no killing, torturing or generally being mean. "Finn, control yourself! You're not like this!" she demanded.

"What do you know about me?" Finn shot back, "This is the last straw. That b*tch will never see it coming."

She looked at him, a certain anger within her. "You know what: it was you who made me stop being cruel to the first-years, you who made me stop the unforgivables where the most important person who ever graced my life couldn't, if only for a time and..." she paused. "It was you who inspired me to change, Finn."

"Maybe I was wrong before." Finn said, "Maybe people should just look out for number one without thinking about anyone else. I don't care about anyone else anymore. I'm only looking out for me."

Flame shook her head, the Finn she had known seemed lost. "Just don't do anything stupid." she warned him.

'I don't think it's stupid," Finn said, "I think it's very rational considering the circumstances."
