*Kiley was walking around in the halls absently, a book under her arm. She'd gotten a letter recently from her brother saying that he had to go to london to fight trolls. Trolls. In London? She figured it was probably true though. Kiley had a lighter and a pack of cigarettes in her pocket. She hadn't started smoking yet; she was still deciding if she wanted to or not. She was kind of hoping she'd run into someone...maybe skylar or jake....and she half wanted to just be alone. She mostly wanted to see someone. Finally Kiley pulled out a cigarette and put it between her lips, not lighting it yet. She leaned out the window, looking out over the grounds*

Skylar was walking as quickly as possible to make it without seeing anyone on his way to the Great Hall...Ever since he had professed his love to Kiley, he didn;t know what he was going to do. He'd never felt that way about anyone so of COURSE it would be natural to choose someone who was so obviously unable to be in a relationship due to horrible circumstances.

*Kiley turned as she heard footsteps behind her and saw that it was skylar. She pulled the cigarette out of her mouth and held it behind her back, glad he hadn't seen her with it lit. She saw that he seemed like he was in a hurry and debated on if she should stop him or not. She decided she should* "Skylar?"

Skylar looked up, his eyes visibly empty and miserable. He saw the one person he was dreading, but decided to walk in her direction. He forced a smile and gave her a hug. "How are you Kiley? Still in pain?" He touched her arm and lifted it to his eyes, so he could inspect the damage.

*He picked the hand that held the cigarette before she could hide it back in her pocket. She felt like she had to hide it from him for some reson.* "Um....no, I'm doing a lot better, thanks. Everything's healing nicely...." *She was hoping he wouldn't notice the cigarette or something, but she highly doubted that would happen. Maybe he won't care.... She thought, but doubted that would happen either*

He sighed and took a deep breath. "I assume I don't have to tell you how stupid smoking is do I? Or how horrible lung cancer is? No. You're a smart girl. I'm sure you've been in the cancer wing of the hospital and watched 25 year old bald women who have artifical lungs because BOTH of theirs were removed. Cancer that spread to virtually every inch of their body because they couldn't catch it in time? I'm sure I don't have to tell you that."

((OOC: Sorry. My mom has lung cancer so I like to lecture lol))

ooc: oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, I do the same. My best friend had cancer. Not lung but yeah.

*Kiley let go of the cigarette so it would drop into his other hand* "Yeah, I just....sorry..." *She mumbled, then added* "I don't smoke...." *She looked up at him and attempted an innocent smile, hoping he'd buy it. She was glad she'd elected for the long sweatshirt so the he might not see that she had an entire pack along with a lighter with her*

With an utterly sarcastic tone, and without looking Kiley in the face, Skylar gave her his reply.

"Oh yes Kiley, I very much believe you. Don't worry. There's no WAY that could be a lie is there? You don't have to lie to me. I'm not an idiot. Plus you smell like smoke."

"I do not!" *She protested* "I've never smoked in my life, I swear. I was thinking of starting." *She explained* "I wouldn't lie to you...well...I might.....but I'm not. I promise." *She said, pulling her away from skylar and crossing them across her chest, pouting slightly, not caring if she looked immature*

He sighed, then leaned in to smell her. "I so smell smoke..." He huffed and puffed and instead of blowing her house down, he just turned around. "I highly suggest not smoking. I Can't tell you what to do and what not to do, but I would appreciate if you didn't smoke at all."

"Well, maybe somebody was smoking around me. it happens." *She said, tossing the cigarette at the back of his head* "Fine. I won't smoke if it will please you my lord..." *She went into a deep curtsey very sarctically*

His face brightened. "That's more like it! Now go get me my slippers. And shine them too!" He ruffled the hair on the top of her head and chuckled. "The sooner we realize that Skylar is jesus, the better off everyone will be."

"I'll just grab the oil and start washing your feet with my hair." *She said sarcastically but with a smile* "Yeah, I'd love to get your slippers, except there's that little think that I'm a gryffindor and I can't get into your common room. Darn.Tough luck."
