Title: Can you keep a secret?
Description: Delilah!

Flame Lestrange - July 3, 2007 06:28 PM (GMT)
Flame walked to her clearing deep in thought. The decision to tell Delilah what she would had not been an easy one but, infact, quite difficult. It wasn't something she'd admit to just anyone, she'd had second thoughts about telling her best friend- the only person she truly trusted. She sat down on a rock and waited, hoping Delilah knew where to meet her.

Delilah heard that her best friend wanted to talk to her so she searched as well as she could in her current state... She was a little high from some stuff that Tyrin had given her. She saw Flame though, and as soon as she did she rushed over to her, giving her a huge hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Is everything okay?"

Flame Lestrange - July 3, 2007 06:32 PM (GMT)
Flame hugged her friend back and nodded. "I'm fine. I just think it's time that I stop keeping huge things secret. But I need to know you'll never speak a word, I'll die if you do." she might have sounded delarious and she kept looking around, checking their was noone to hear their conversation. "Promise. Promise me you won't tell if I tell."

"You know I'll always keep your secrets Flame. Always. What's the matter?" She sat beside her friend and took her hand gently with her own. They never kept secrets from each other... Never. Best friends shouldn't have to keep secrets should they?

Flame Lestrange - July 3, 2007 06:38 PM (GMT)
She was worried, of course she was. Her loyalty was supposed to remain secret. Sure, everyone knew she wanted to be a death eater but actually being one was different. She was still at school, still but a fourth year and already her alliance had been forged. Not that she'd had a choice. But she couldn't tell that much. She couldn't let on she knew where Harshing was. "It's just..." she touched her left arm self conciously as she faltered and then, slowly, peeled the sleeve back to reveal the dark mark and looked at her friend to see her reaction.

Her eyes fell suddenly to her arm and then they widened. "Oh my..." She smiled slightly. "Congradulations Flame!" she squealed and hugged her. Sure she thought this was a bad idea, but she had to support her bes- Only friend. She smiled and looked at it. "Wow...That's so cool for you! Is it new?"

Flame Lestrange - July 3, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
Flame looked her friend in the eye, trying to convey the fear, the uncertainty through her eyes, usually so cold and emotionless- it was her to keep things hidden away, secrets were just something she was used to keeping. Telling even the smallest things could be difficult for her but this was huge, plus she'd be in trouble if they knew she'd told. It was only a few days since she'd officially joined up... Thanks to Harshing. "It's... quite new." she shrugged.

Delilah Ferrari - July 3, 2007 06:48 PM (GMT)
Delilah lowered her eyebrows. "Flame... Is this what you really want? You seem kind of... Nervous." She looked around the forest to see if anyone was around listening. "Were you forced? Did you...Did you meet him?" she asked, knowing that were both on the same page with who he was.

Flame Lestrange - July 3, 2007 06:52 PM (GMT)
Flame stared into the forest for a while. She knew what Harshing was like for randomly turning up within it's boundaries. He had, after all, found her in here before without a warning to his presence. She shook involuntarily at the memory but told herself he wouldn't turn up now- it was too risky. She shrugged at Delilah's question. "You know I always wanted to but... I just didn't expect it so soon. I'm still young- a kid by their standards and I just feel there's something else behind it." then she quietened as her friend once again questioned her. "It's all part of the ritual. If he's not there it means no joining." how she wished he'd failed to show up- then she'd never have to set eyes on Harshing again.

Delilah Ferrari - July 3, 2007 07:02 PM (GMT)
Delilah took a deep breath. "If you weren't ready then why did you do it my love?" She gently kissed Flame's arm, right on the dark mark. She felt a shiver go through her, almost as though there was an enegry emitting from the mark.

Flame Lestrange - July 3, 2007 07:07 PM (GMT)
Flame stared at her, realising just how much Delilah had missed. If she'd refused then she'd never have had a chance- Harshing had been her final ticket and, afraid, she had taken it. If she hadn't taken it she thought that, when she was ready, she would never find a way in. She had closed the many doorways already. She had fled from him twice, the first with her mother and the second alone and on their last meeting Flame had dissed him to his face. She had things to make up and because of that her service had began early. But how should she say it. "I took my final option I guess."
