Faith walked slowly through the streets of Diagon alley. She had nothing to do, she couldn't be with Finn. She had been avoiding him, she knew that someone told him about the night with Delilah, she had been planning to tell him herself but someone beat her to it.

The way Faith looked at it, it wasn't fair. She had the right to tell him, whoever told him should have just minded their own buisness. She had to sort things out with Delilah before she told Finn, that is just how it had to be. She didn't work fast enough which led to this perdiciment.

Her walking by herself with nothing else to do feeling guilty and angry and frustrated. Too many emotions running through her body, she couldn't even pin point one and make it its own.

She hadn't cried, and she hadn't sat around feeling bad for herself. She had tried to fix this, and she knew that if she told Finn that he just woudln't understand. She hadn't tried hard enough, and now here she was racking her brain for a way to tell him what happened. She was drunk, and Delilah took advantage of her when she was most vulnerable.

Faith sighed and pressed on.

Finn was sitting in the Leaky Cauldron. He was having some lunch. Finn had ordered a Ruben sandwich and a beer. He left the pub and went to diagon alley. He saw her for the first time in about a month. It was Faith. he hadn't really had the desire to talk to her. He guessed that she was a lesbian now, and wasn't really interested in him anymore. Finn walked to her and said, "Hey," and kept walking. If she wanted to talk to him, she could stop him.

Faith picked up her head as someone spoke, she smiled when she saw his face. " Hey." But he kept walking, her msile flattened. Geeze-o-man this was going to take a lot out of her. Fiath walked after him until she was in stride with him.

" Finn can I talk to you." she said looking over at him. " Please? Just give me five minutes that's all I need." Faith bit her lip softly and stopped walking hoping he would too. They needed to get some things straight, he was hearing things that were not true and most likely believing them, so she had to get the truth out, and then if he still didn't want anything to do with her well then fine. She did what she had to do and would except the fact that what happened ruined things between them.

Finn stopped, "Yeah, what do you need?" Finn asked. He knew it probably wasn't good, but it needed to be dealt with. All the possible situations he came up with were grim. Hopefully there would be a better explanation... She didn't look good. Maybe she needed him as much as he needed her.

Fiaht moved off to the side so they weren't in the middle of everything. She didn't know how she would start this but here she went. " Look, I know you've been hearing alot of things from other people about...that night." she paused and looked down slighlty. "But...none of them are true. I'm not a lesbian,I was drunk, I was upset and I was vulnerable." She looked up at him. " She took advantage of me and got me wasted."

" I was going ot tell you but someone else told you first, I was just trying ot figure out how to tell you but someone beat me to it. I promise I would've told you it was just hard, I mean how do you tell somebody something like that?" She asked meaning it to be more as a statement than a qeustion.

Delilah, who had been sitting and eating a sandwich heard the conversation and realized that there was something that she just had to do. With her wand, she shot a few spells, sending every picture in their direction, in none of which did Faith seem like she was being taken advantage of and all of them were taken in Delilah's home. Most just had the two girls kissing feverishly, nude.

"Look," Finn said, "If you were drunk, that's rape. That's different than cheating. Rape isn't a choice." He sighed, "I wish I didn't have to hear it from someone else you know?" he said, meaning that to be a statement as well, "I didn't like finding out from someone else. It made me feel pretty crappy." he sighed again, "I still have feelings for you... I know you probably don't feel the same way..."

" I know but." she shook her head. "I don'tknow how it got around, and you would have heard it from me if people just knew how to keep their mouths shut. It was hard for me to even think about telling you." Faith let her eyes wander. " I do still have feelings for you and I didn't want this to mess things up. We are always doing fine and then something comes and screws it up." Faith ran her hand over her face. " I'm sorry. Really. I still have feelings for you I do really and I don't know how I'd even survive without you." she said sounding corny but it was true.

Finn put his arm around her, embracing her. "If you want to work this out, We will," he said to her. He knew she didn't want to hurt him, but she had in the past. "I think we need to stop listening to what people say about us..." Finn said, "That would solve a lot of our problems. Our other problem is trust. I don't 100% trust you, and I don't think you really trust me."

Faith stayed where she was, she looked from him to the ground then back up at him. She smiled slightly and nodded. " Yeah." Faith didn't want this to happen again, she didn't want to fight with him anymore. She'd do everything in her power to keep fighting out of the question. Faith looked down at her ring finger remembering what the ring looked like on that finger. It just fit. She took in a breath and nodded. She didn't trust him but she wanted to, she knew she had to. Had to.

"So..." Finn said, "Do you wanna get a drink or something?" They passed by a different pub. Finn hoped things were looking up. The seemed to be, but one never knows. "Or did you come to get something for school?" He didn't know why she would go to Diagon Alley, especially during school.

" A drink sounds good." Hr head bobbed in a small nod. " No I just came to clear my head." she shrugged. Faith moved her body away from him and ran her hand down her arm to meet his. She laced their fingers and looked around watching people pass them. She needed a drink, she was glad he had suggested it.

"I know a nice little place..." Finn said as they walked into the pub. Finn sat down at the bar and ordered a beer. "What do you want?" he asked, it had been a while. He knew she liked firewhiskey, but didn't want to order it for her if she didn't want it.

She followed him into the pub and sat down by him. " I just want a beer." her eyes wandered the pub. People scattered around the bar and in booths. She looked at Finn again and bit her lip. "Do you know what's going to happen between us Finn? Is it ever going to be the same? Are we going to get married Finn?" She kept her eyes on the side of his head. " Are we going ot be happy? Are we going to have a family? Are we going to have a future?" She didn't know why she just burst out with so many questions, she just had to know if things were going to be okay between them.

Finn tried his best to answer his questions. "I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen between us. It can't be the same, it can get better... We might get married... If you want... I hope we will be happy... I hope so... I would like to have a family, someday, not today necessarily, but someday... I would like you to be a part of my future, if you want to be..." He took a long pull of his beer, out of breath. He wasn't used to talking that much, that fast.

She kept her eyes down as she sipped her beer and listened to what he said. " I do want to marry you, and I do want to be part of your future." She bit her lip softly. " I'm sorry." she laughed slightly. " I'm sorry I racked my brain and threw all the questions that were trapped up there at you." Her head shook. " I'm sorry that I didn't tell you, and I'm sorry that I made you not able to trust me, I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry that I messed this up. I'm sorry about everything. I'm just sorry. It's sad, really sad. Nobody else I know has that much stuff to be sorry about." Faith took a gulp of her beer and set the cup down on the bar with a soft thud.

"You aren't the only one to blame..." Finn said, emptying his stein, "I was so suspicious of you all the time... Maybe if I wasn't so suspicious, I wouldn't have put you in those situations... I dunno..." He ordered another beer.

" You weren't suspicious." She sighed. " You were protective because deep down you knew that I would do something stupid sooner or later and I did end up doing stipid crap." She shrugged. " I just think that I felt like that if I did that stupid stuff then it would." shaking her head she took another sip of the alcohol. " I don't know."

"I think I put too much pressure on you... I almost welcomed you doing something wrong... I'm sorry..." He took some bar nuts, tossed them up, and caught them in his mouth. "I think we were both wrong and I think we should forget about it..."

" Okay." the subject was dropped. She sat in silence watching him throw bar nuts into the air and catching them. She looked back at the bar, and ran her ringer over the rim of the glass over and over.

Finn was glad they were back together. It was a relief for him. He was no longer in limbo. "Bored much?" Finn asked in response to her running her 'ringer' around the rim of the glass. He stopped throwing nuts into his mouth. "Do you want something to eat?" he asked.

She shook her head, she wasn't bored. Just thinking about things that would have to be thought about sooner or later, better sooner than later anyway. She looked over at him. "No thanks." her voice trailed off.

"Is something wrong?" Finn asked, he knew she had some problems, "What I mean is, are you feeling okay?" He wondered if she was sick. He hoped she wasn't, but didn't know. "Do you wanna get outta here?" He asked, thinking maybe she would like to go back to his place and lay down.

" I'm fine." She finished off her beer. " Perfectly fine." she muttered. She did want to get out of there, she wanted to just relax or something. "Yeah let's go." she sighed and stood up putting some money on the bar for the bar tender. Seh wasnt' in a great mood at the moment, she just needed everything to get straightened out. She coudlnt' even talk to Delilah without her blaming things on her. She sighed ans rubbed her eyes slightly waiting for Finn.

Finn picked up her money. "Keep it, I'll get this." He gave her the money she put on the bar and paid for both of their drinks. "Do you have your license yet?" He asked her, wondering if she could apparate yet. Finn took her hand, and started to exit the bar.

Faith sighed and took her money back shoving it deep into the pocket of her jeans. She shook her head. " Not until next month." she informed him when he took her hand she looked down at them then back up to exit the bar.

"Ok..." Finn said, "How do you want to go back to my place?" He was at a loss. There was a train that left for hogsmeade, but that would take a while... He didn't know and hoped she would make a decision for him.

" Um." she paused and looked around. " Walking?" Her voice was questioning. " I don't know I'm up for walking, it will take a while but it'll be good for us." she smiled slightly.

Finn smiled. "I don't know if you've realized this or not, but it's about 5 hours by train to hogsmeade. Even if sprinted the entire way, it would still take 12 hours at least..." He chuckled. "I think we should take the train..." He pointed her in the direction of the train station.

" I can sprint for twelve hours." she laughed. " I'm in shape." She flaxed her free arm and smiled letting it fall to her side limply again. " But taking the tain sounds good." She smiled at him following where he had pointed.

Finn laughed. "I'm not in such bad shape myself, but I couldn't sprint for 12 hours!" He put his arm around her and led her towards the train station. He purchased two tickets to Hogsmeade. "Ready to go sit down?" He asked, not sure if she wanted to sit yet, or if she wanted to walk around.

Faith laughed, it felt good to laugh, it felt better to laugh with him. She walked with him, her arm around his waist. " Yep." She replied heading towards the train. She'd rather sit than walk around. She had been walking around all day trying to figure out what she'd say to him.

Finn got on the train. He showed their tickets to the taker and boarded the train. They now had 5 hours to sit. The train was hot on the summer day. He wished there was air conditioning, but alas, there wasn't. He opened the window. "hot isn't it?" He asked Faith.

Faith brought her hand to her face and started to fan herself off. "Yeah Just a tad." She sighed and fanned him with her other hand. " Maybe I'll sweat off some pounds." she snickered, her head leaning back slightly.

"No... You're perfect how you are." Finn said smiling... At that moment, a cart came through with various treats. "Do you want anything?" Finn asked eyeing a chocolate frog. He wondered how they could make the chocolate firm even though it was so hot.
