Dorien has been a vampire for 104 years (105 on christmas eve). He was found at age 17 by the vampire that made him on the streets, dying of the spanish influenza. He was killed out of a need for compainionship by his creator, and because he knew that he was going to die anyway. His mother had already died and when his father found dorien and discovered what he was, dorien was forced to flee with his creator, oliver. He was 17 when it happened and has been 17 ever since and will remain 17 forever. As a vampire he has pale skin. He can go out durring the day but prefers not to because the sun burns his skin slightly, not to the point that he dies though. He doesn't sleep in a coffin. Infact, he doesn't sleep. He just rests. He doesn't have a fear of crosses and cannot turn into a bat. Dorien tries to only drink the blood of animals. He hates that he has the ability to take human life. He is very strong and very fast. A vampire is the ultimate prey, attracting their prey to them with their looks. However, Dorien is mostly afraid of hurting someone on accident so he pushes them away. It's always obvious when Dorien is hungry....thirsty. His eyes go from the light warm carmel color they are after just feeding to a dark onyx color that is hard and cold. He tries to only feed about once or twice a month. He should feed around three or four times per month, but because he does not like to take life and only does it because he has to, he chooses to feed less often. Dorien is undead and the only way to propperly kill him would be to litterally be ripped to shreads by another vampire and then have the pieces burned. He can be hurt, but i's normally only temproary that he feels any pain. He is mortal enemies with the werewolf.
