Title: Sitting Quietly
Description: anyone
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
*Dorien sat quietly in a chair in the very back of the library away from the windows. His hair had fallen into his face a little as he silently read his book. He chuckled under his breath as he read a particulary gruesome passage in a muggle novel that involved a writer going on a vampire killing crusade. He shook his head and smiled, closing 'Salem's Lot silently and setting it down on the small table next to his chair. He closed her eye, which were a darker brown today, steadly growing darker through the slow progression of day after day, and let his head rest back on the chair.*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 03:52 AM (GMT)
Delilah yawned and stretched her whole body as she walked. She was in a short skirt and bathing suit top, and despite the evil glare from the librarian, she had simply continued to make her way to her favorite seat. She raised a single eyebrow to find a very attractive boy sitting in it. She stood beside the chair and put one hand on her hip.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 04:00 AM (GMT)
*Dorien looked up and half smiled, but not fully* "Hello." *SHe said in a quiet measured voice* "Can I help you?" *Only a hint of sarcasm there. He had tried to hold back. The look the girl was giving him amused him to no end*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
"I'm sure you could, but there are too many people around." Chuckling at the fact that that really was her first thought, she shook it out of her head. "I usually sit where you are is all... I wasn't expecting someone to be in this chair..Are you new? I'm surprized I haven't met you before." Althought it wasn't the word 'Met' that she wanted to say.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 04:06 AM (GMT)
"Yes, I am. I just moved here with my dad." *He lied smoothly, having years and years of practice* "I'm Dorien. And I'd be happy to give you the seat I so rudely ripped from your grasp." *He stood and leaned against the wall, motioning to the seat, the amused smile still present on his face*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 04:10 AM (GMT)
Delilah shook her head. "Well it's okay...I mean, you can sit with me if you want. I sort of distracted you of what it is that you were doing. I'm sorry..." What the hell was she saying!? Why was she being nice to him? she didn't know him so why would she...
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 04:15 AM (GMT)
*He shook his head* "No, it's alright. I was wasteing a perfectly good chair. Just...rotting away." *He smiled, flashing her his crooked smile with his very white teeth as if he was sharing a private joke with himself* "Actually, out of four people to walk by, I believe you're the first person to notice me here. I guess I blend in."
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 04:20 AM (GMT)
"I'm surprized" she said, shaking her head. She decided there and then that she had to make an observation. It wasn't a flirtateous gesture surprizingly, but she had to say it. "You are beautiful..." Ever since Vlad had left she didn't know many beautiful men. "You have such beautiful features."
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 04:24 AM (GMT)
"Thank you. You do too." *And he ment it. She was very striking. Not very humble was his guess judging from he outfit* "And I'm sure you have a lovely name to go along with it but unfortunatly you've failed to tell me what it is." *He felt guilty then, that she thought he was beautiful. It pained him to think of the fact that she was in danger being alone with him, even if he wasn't that thirsty. Again, he was able to hide how he felt under the half smiled due to many many years of practice.*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 04:27 AM (GMT)
She smirked, some of her cockiness slipping from her. She loved when people used lines that were old and rediculous, but this one was actually kind of cute. "Delilah. Delilah Ferrari." She licked her lips and ran a hand through her hair. "I bet you have a nice name yourself." She sat in the chair and kicked her legs up so they were on the table.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 04:36 AM (GMT)
*He chuckled* "Dorien Hurt. It's nice to meet you Delilah." *He sighed and half considered pulling up a chair and kicking up his feet but decided against it. He still felt on edge at being alone with her. And she smelled so good. He tried to push the thought from his mind* "So other than brutally forcing other people from their chairs and distracting them, what do you do?" *He asked jokingly with a smirk*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
Her smirk rivaled his own. "I am a woman of many talents." She took a lolipop out of nowhere and put it in her mouth. She pointed at the chair beside her with the lolipop and licked her lips. "Why don't you come sit here with me? I don't bite...unless you want me to."
Tyrin Yates - July 5, 2007 04:47 PM (GMT)
Tyrin walked into the library and headed towards the back, on his way he stopped cold and looked at Delilah, snarled because she was with another boy. He made a mental note of his image, he would be a target later and sat down in a place he could watch them both.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 05:33 PM (GMT)
*Dorien angled the chair towards her, moving it effortlessly. He gracefully tossed himself into the chair* "Well, if you were to bite me, I'm afraid I'd have to bite back." *He said jokingly. Dorien glanced around casually and spotted the other boy that had joined them in the library. He could tell he wasn't happy about his presence with delilah* "I think someone over there is a tad jealous....."
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:00 PM (GMT)
Delilah turned, although she already had a pretty good idea that it could really only be one person. She huffed and looked back at the other boy, a tinge of anger in her face. "I apologize for what I'm about to do, but I have to." She stood and within seconds was in his lap. She took his face in her hands and kissed him. Hard.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 07:08 PM (GMT)
*Dorien was taken compleatly by suprise. Two emotions flooded through him at once immediatly. The desire for her blood, strengthened with her so close and the fear that he wouldn't be able to resist. His cold lips stayed tight as he turned so that the boy would only see the back of his head and not delilah. It would still look as if they were kissing when in reality he had pulled back. He almost felt angry with her for a moment but he calmed himself.* "What was that?" *He whispered so only she could ear, holding her face close to his so that they would still appear to be kissing*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
"That was an ex that can't let go. He's my ex and for some reason, although he decided we would be better off alone, he wants me back. Now I'm with a boy hotter than he is, and I decided to kiss you... Why aren't you kissing back? Any guy with a brain and a d**k usually does..."
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
"I assure you I'm not like any other guy" *He said with a small smile. He sat up, bringing delilah up with him. He was activly aware of how close she was. He glanced at her neck and then mentally smacked himself for it.*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:26 PM (GMT)
She pouted, "Well that's unfortunate..." She stuck out her lower lip a little bit. "But...You're so cute." She touched his face and tilted her head to the side. "Well let me know something about you then. Usually I can read a man back and forth but for some reason, I just can't read you."
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 07:30 PM (GMT)
*He smiled* "I've been told that before actually." *He was beginning to get used to her close proximity and the smell wasn't drinving him quite as insane. It was bearable now* "What would you like to know? My life is an open book." *His smile widened slightly at the absurdity in that statement*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
Sliding one leg to the other side of him so that he was somewhat straddling him, she tilted her head to the side. "I would like to know what makes you so different from other guys. And why it is that you seem so nervous by me." She had obviously mistaken his flush of hunger as nervousness.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 07:36 PM (GMT)
"Honestly? I'm chlosterphobic.....sometimes I panic when people get too close. That's all." *He delivered the lie like a highly skilled actor. He did feel guilty about lying to her, but he knew there wasn't any other choice.* "And I wouldn't know what makes me different." I'm immortal, I drink blood, I don't have a pulse.... "I don't really walk around comparing myself to them I'm sad to say." *He said with a small smile*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
She tilted her head slightly and gazed over his face. "You're lying..." she said, almost at the same time she was realizing it. "I can feel it. You're lying! I mean I'm an expert but I have to say, you're pretty good. I don't know what it is about you boy but you are most certainly lying about something."
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 07:44 PM (GMT)
"I'm sorry you think that." *He said, furrowing his brow slightly* "Well, when you figure you what it is that you feel isn't right, let me know. I'd like to know what I'm lying about." *His brow cleared and he looked back at her, amused again* "Why does it frusterate you?"
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:47 PM (GMT)
She pouted and crossed her arms, looking away from him. Her neck was quite close to his eyes suddenly.
"A little bit. Stupid jerk..." She giggled slightly, reailizing that she probably looked like a little kid at the moment. Perhaps if she didn't mention it again, he would just end up telling her what the truth really was.
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
*Dorien almost moaned with desire. He wanted her so badly, but not how she was used to men reacting to her. He forced his eyes away from her neck.* "Delilah, I think my foot's falling asleep." *
He said sweetly, smiling innocently, hoping she would move. In reality his instincts were screaming at him to simply lean and feed while at the same time, the rest of him was screaming at her to get away as fast as she could so he wouldn't hurt her*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 07:59 PM (GMT)
She shook her head, looking at him suspiciously. "No it isn't.." She looked into his face once again, trying to read him. She got up, her bare stomach before his eyes, and turned around to sit in the chair that she had abandoned a few moments ago
Dorien Hurt - July 5, 2007 08:02 PM (GMT)
*Dorien sighed when she looked at him like that* "Now, why would I lie about that?" *He asked, beginning to feel a hint of frusteration as he looked at her, releaved that she had moved away* "I'm sorry..." *He said with a small slightly mocking smile*
Delilah Ferrari - July 5, 2007 08:52 PM (GMT)
She shook her head. "There's something about you I don't quite get yet..But I will. I am the queen of liars my dear and I will soon figure you out." She was not smiling and she was not kidding. She would soon figure him out, whether it was what was best for her or if it was only making life more dangerous for her. She didn't care.
Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 03:42 AM (GMT)
*Dorien stared back at her* "I wish you wouldn't try." *He leaned back, looking at her, his smile gone. His body language would indicate that he was relaxed, but his eyes were anything but. He was still on edge about her. He liked her, but he was afraid to have her on his bad side*
Tyrin Yates - July 6, 2007 09:17 AM (GMT)
Tyrin sulked over what was happening, his eyes a flare - his hands wrapped around a pen. It snapped open. His mouth curled into a snarl as he faced the wall. He hid his expression with a book, glancing over to Dorien. He would pay dearly for his actions.
Delilah Ferrari - July 6, 2007 12:55 PM (GMT)
She brushed her long hair over her shoulder. "Why? Why do you seem so sad? What's wrong?" Usually she didn't care about other people and their feelings and the like, but she was very determined to figure out what was going on with him and why he was so different on her guy-radar...
Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 01:02 PM (GMT)
*He shook his head* "Because what if you don't like what you figure out? What if I'm the bad guy?" *He half smiled but it didn't reach his eyes* "And I have a feeling that I don't want to be on your bad side." *He sighed and looked at her, his eyebrows slightly raised*
Delilah Ferrari - July 6, 2007 01:07 PM (GMT)
"Well, I'm a bad person.. I don't deny that I'm a bad person. It would take quite a bit to put you on my bad side," she half-lied. She was much more lienient on men than women, but they still had to be pretty careful. "Besides, there's nothing you could tell me that would surprize me at this point."
Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 01:12 PM (GMT)
*He laughed, but not too loudly. He didn't want to get them kicked out of the library* "Oh, I highly doubt that. Why do you want to know so badly?" *He asked, really amused by what she had said about not being able to be suprised at this point. She would find out and then run away screaming like everyone else*
Delilah Ferrari - July 6, 2007 01:15 PM (GMT)
She shrugged. "I don't know, it's just that when people try to hide things from me it's pretty aggrivating... And to say that you're a bad guy I'd have to say that I have a hard time believing you're worse than I am. I'm horrible...And I have seen pretty much everything, so unless you pull of your head and a giant ferris wheel comes out, I will not be surprized."
Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 01:17 PM (GMT)
*He chuckled* "Alright...I'll keep that in mind." *Dorien thought it over and considered telling her just so he could see the look on her face, but then reconsidered* "You really don't seem all that bad to me. I tihnk you're just being overly dramatic."
Delilah Ferrari - July 6, 2007 01:21 PM (GMT)
She shook her head. "You might be surprized. I'm not the nicest girl..." She licked her lips and toyed with the belly button ring that was dangling."I've broken up marriages when the woman was pregnant out of fun... I've had sex with teachers to push myself up from an A- to an A. I've beat girls up for looking at me...And I've gotten women drunk to take advantage because I was mad at their boyfriend." She licked her lips and looked up at him. "Your turn."
Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 01:24 PM (GMT)
I kill things and drink their blood, I've been thinking of the different way to lure you away and bite you for the last half an hour.... "No, I don't think so." *He said as he shook his head and smiled* "At least you have an interesting life. Next question."
Delilah Ferrari - July 6, 2007 01:28 PM (GMT)
"Come on!" she said and growled, tilting her head back over the side of her chair, thrusting her neck out. "This is driving me crazy! I told you about me, now it's your turn to tell, or else I'll have to rape it out of you!" She chuckled at her own joke, then seriously wondered if it would actually work...
