*Dorien walked silently through the halls. He was wearing a well fitted black t-shirt which stood out dramatically against his pale skin. It was dusk and he had nothing to do. He couldn't go back to the common room because there were too many people. Same with the great hall. He didn't really want to go to the library or the astronomy tower yet, so he simply wandered. His eyes were almost black, much darker than they were a few days ago. When the sun went down tonight, he knew he would have to go hunting...it wasn't safe for him to be around other people when he was this thirsty.*

Delilah was walking quickly with an armful of books, not quite paying attention to what was in front of her. She had just had a very odd run-in with some boy...She hated not getting her way!

Suddenly, her whole body jolted forward as she felt herself slam into someone who was walking toward her. She fell on top of them, dropping her books everywhere.

*Dorien could tell who it was before he looked. Delilah's scent was permenatly imbedded into his memory* "You alright Delilah?" *He asked, standing and getting all her books back into a stack, probably quicker than he should have. He needed to practice normal human reflex speed. He offered his hand to her to help her up*

She nodded and licked her lips. "I'm fine." She slipped one hand up to brush his face. "Now about you? I slammed into you pretty hard... I hope I didn't hurt you." She looked him up and down. She was still aggrivated.. She wanted to know what the issue was!

ooc: I'm gonna god a little in this post, just because I wanna make it interesting....if you don't like it I'll edit.

*Dorien shook his head.* "No I'm fine. Where were you in such a rush to get to? And with so many books...." *He looked her up and down and noticed something that he couldn't believe he hadn't before. There was a small cut on her hand from either one of her books or from running into him. At any rate it was bleeding. All his sences sheapened and he spoke quietly* "Delilah, you're bleeding."

She looked at it and raised an eyebrow. "Funny, I didn't notice it before, nor did I feel it." ((OOC: *Snort*)) "Kiss it better for me?" she asked, gently placing her hand to his lips and smiling. "I'm sure that'll make it much better for me." She looked to his face to see his reaction.

*Dorien took a step backwards.* "I throw up at the sight of blood." *He held a hand out to keep her back. He was already raveniously hungry and this was not helping at all. His dark eyes flashed from her hand to her face to see her reaction*

She shook her head, suspicious. "That isn't true... You're still looking at it and you don't seem ill at all." She licked her hand softly and held it back up to him. "There. No blood...Kiss it." Her hand was still bleeding but there wasn't a puddle like before.

*He knew that if he didn't do it she would figure it out. He reluctantly took her hand and kissed it where the skin was broken. It took every ounce of self control that he had to pull his head back instead of biting her hand and sucking her dry. A few drops of her blood got on his lips and he licked it off. He hadn't tasted human blood in so long and he tried to saver the taste but it didn't work for very long.* "There. Better?"

((OOC: My turn to god a little bit but mine will be a lot smaller than yours lol))

She looked at him. "Why are you shaking? What's wrong?" she asked, looking down at her hand. It was completely healed... "Weird.." she shook her head then looked back up at him. "You're a born healer, is that it? Is that what you're hiding from me?"

*He looked down at her hand and then back at her, just as confused as her* "That's odd." *He remembered once about another vampire that told him sometimes there are rare occasions that a vampire has healed the puncture wounds on a victim. He wondered if this was a case like that.* "Well.....all for the better." *He relaxed a little without the smell of blood in the air. He absently tried to remember how dark his eyes had been last time he saw her and wondered if there was a noticable difference. He figured there was, but he hoped she hadn't been paying that much attention to deteail*

Her look of confusion deepened in her eyes. "Weren't your eyes lighter just a moment ago..?" She asked, touching his face. "This is too weird. Tell me what's going on right this second or I swear-" She cut herself off by shaking her head roughly. "Tell me."

*dorien's brow furrowed again* "Delilah, what are you talking about?" *He knew it was possible that they had gone from very dark brown to black right before her because of how hungry the smell of her blood had made him* "People's eyes don't just.....change color." People's eyes don't....vampire's do.... "It's probably just the lighting...or lack of for that matter."

She shook her head. "No, they changed colors. I have amazing eyesight due to my half-veela...ness. I can see that your eyes have changed color. I don't know what the hell is going on Dorien but you need to tell me. I can help you. Just trust me!" Her voice was full of desperation.

*Dorien shook his head and bent to pick up one of the books she had been holding* "Did you just check these out of the library? What for?" *The one he had picked was very old and the cover was worn off so he couldn't see what it was. He was slightly amused by the thought that she had checked them out to look up about what he was. Then again, he wouldn't have put it past her*

"We're studying up on Vampires in one of my classes. I'm not looking too forward to it... I mean, they say vampires are these evil vicious creatures but I think they have the potential to be just like everyone else, don't you?" she asked, the possibility of this boy being a vampire not even crossing her mind.

"I don't know. They're pretty dangerous. I guess they could be considered evil, espically if you think about the number of people they have to kill to feed. I think I read somewhere that a lot of vampires kill once a week. I doubt that's the average though." *He leaned against the wall. The dark walls made his skin stnad out even more. Dorien knew for a fact that it wasn't necessary to kill once a week. That was just being over indulgent.*

She shook her head. "No I don't believe so. They don't have to feed nearly so much... And they don't have to eat people either. I've been reading a lot on it and find everything to be rediculous. I know they can go in the sun and I know they can eat garlic and all... But they're always really pale and very col-" As she spoke, she looked up at him, touching his arm. "Cold..."

*He raised his eyebrows and looked at her hand back to her face as if expecting something* "And what about all that about sleeping in coffins and not being able to go near crosses and.....what the other one......oh right, being invisible in photographs?" *He knew none of these were true but he wanted to hear her opinion*

She shook her head. "All rediculous. I think the coffin thing once started as a necessity, so they could hide from people but now, I think they can hide themselves pretty well so they don't need coffins. They're not the devil so they aren't afraid of crosses... I don't know about the photographs but I think that's even more rediculous as well..."

"And what if you met a vampire that despertly thirsted for your blood? What would you do??" *He asked curriously. This wass one of the questions that would determine if he would ever tell delilah the truth about himself* "Would you be afraid?"

She shrugged. "I'd be afraid sure. I mean, I don't know as much about them as I could but... I wouldn't be rediculous about it. I would ask if they could take just a little bit and not kill me, and if so I would have no problem sharing. I just don't feel like dying." She chuckled. "And if they didn't want to let others know, I would have no problem being there for them whenever they were hungry..." She shook her head. "Not like a vampire would trust me with their secrets or anything, but I would love to help."

*Dorien was really tempted to tell her again and decided not to. He'd let her find out on her own. It would be.....funner that way* "I don't tihnk it works like that.....I read somewhere that their fangs have veniom in them...." *He said absently, flipping through to the book to find a picture. he did and chuckled at the vampire in the black cape with a dead woman in his lap, bleeding from the neck*

She giggled, looking at the picture. "That's rediculous. They don't wear capes and they don't have venom, and they're not evil little creatures. They're just like everyone else and I know that it may not be possible to help them the way I hope for, but it doesn't make them bad...And it isn't their fault that they have to drink blood to keep them alive... We eat meat don't we?"

WE don't eat meat...YOU eat meat.....I drink blood. "If they don't have venom then how do other people turn into vampires once they've been bitten? It makes sence when you think about it. They bite someone and the poison spreads untill their heart stops and they become a vampire." *He loved that she had disagreed with him on this subject*

She shook her head. "No... They turn into vampires because the other vampire drink all the blood, then give them their blood, so they become a vampire that way." She nodded, looking him up and down. She looked at the book in his hand. "I would love to see the fangs..."

*She was right. There were a few ways to turn a person into a vampire and the best known was drinking all their blood and then giving them some of their own. It was the least painful for the victim as well.* "They sell vampire fangs in knockturn alley. Extreamly expensive though, seeing as the vampire would have to be dead and that doesn't happen very often"

She shook her head. "No... I want to see them on a vampire... I wouldn't want to buy them because I sort of feel like it's wrong to buy someone's body parts, even if they were dead already..." She shivered. "It's cruel and an exploitation and I would never ever want to do that..."

*He was glad she'd said that. He had felt exactly the same when he'd seen them.* "Well, next time I see a vampire I'll send him your way do you can give him some blood and he can show you his fangs in return." *He glanced out the window as the last of the sun's direct light sunk below the horizon and the sky darkened a little*

She looked up at him with her sweet eyes. "I would only want them to come up to me with complete trust...knowing that I would never betray their secret..." She took a deep breath. "Now please...What's your secret? I'm very trustworthy you know... Trustful..."

"What do you think it is?" *He asked, taking a step foward. Now that it was dark, his skin showed against the sky, walls, and his clothes. Dorien tilted his head down but didn't lose eye contact. He was trying to scare her a little even though he had no intention to hurt her. He took another step towards her*

Her wide eyes caught his with a sense of danger tracing his... She licked her lips and lightly touched his arm. Cold... Icy cold... She blinked slowly, looking around him at the cloud covered sky. "I don't know. I've guessed a million times before and I haven't gotten it right yet..."

"Think Delilah.....think....you know the answer......." *He took another step closer. He almost curled his lips back from his teeth, revealing his fangs into a menacing smile. He didn't.....yet. He wanted her to know, and he wanted her to know now, and when she figured it our he wanted to scare the living daylights out of her so she would maybe think twice about offering him her blood and being alone with him*

Delilah looked suddenly very nervous... "Are you.." she asked looking up and down his face. "Are you a vampire Dorien?" she asked, unsure how he was going to react with such an absurd accusation. She licked her lips and felt herself step back.

*He grinned, revealing all of his teeth, including his fangs* "How did you guess?" *He asked quietly. In one fluid motion, Dorien stepped and lunged at delilah, trying to turn her so he was standing behind her. He held onto her body and tilted her head to the side as if he was going to bite her. Dorien lowered his lips and pressed them against her skin, going crazy at the smell but wanting to teach her the lesson more than drink her blood. However, right as his icy lips touched her neck, he let go of her, laughing, all traces of menace gone*

Her eyes were very wide and very nervous. She felt like she was going to cry until she caught sight of his face. She smiled and felt herself begin to laugh. "Don't scare me like that!" she said, hitting his shoulder slightly. "Jerk... Now let me see!" She walked closer to him, pulling one side of his upper lip to see his fangs. "Wow..."

*Dorien smiled at her facination with his fangs. He sighed* "Delilah, the point of that was to scare you to bits so you wouldn't want to be around me...." *He shook his head, still smiling* "I do believe that you are the single most persistant person I have ever met."

She smiled and nodded. "Thank you my dear." She giggled and clapped her hands. "Wow..This is so cool! Do you realize how awesome this is?"

((OOC: I am thinking that I want to switch this whole thing so you had this convo with Cecelia since she is single and Delilah isn't...))

ooc: I was trying to think of a dorien-tries-to-kill-squall kind of thing but if you wanna do that you can. The first topic wouldn't make much sence then because tyrin wouldn't be watching cecelia, would he?

*He sighed again. She was taking this in such an odd way he wasn't entirely sure how to react* "How ever could me being a blood drinking monster be considered awesome?" *He couldn't help but smile though....it felt nice to have told someone.*

((OOC: Lol would too. He had sex with both sisters. I wonder if my sister would mind me just volunteering her character for him lol. She'll live. Do you see a kind of love type thing happening between the two?))

Cecelia smiled lightly. "I think it's sort of cool because I've never met one of you before..." She ran one clean, soft finger along his fang. She gazed at it before looking into his eyes. "Now I understand why you're so beautiful..." She gently touched his cheek. "How long have you been one?"
