Title: A First Experince
Description: Dorien

Diana Wulfric - July 6, 2007 10:13 PM (GMT)
Diana led him through the hall's of Hogwarts cautiously making sure they weren't seen by anyone especially by someone of higher power than they. Finally after what seemed like an hour she stopped in front of a wall and turned toward Dorien smiling. "Well this is it," she told him knowing he probably didn't understand so she explained further. "Think of a place where you can play your piano. Think it over and over again and close your eyes." As she finished speaking she stepped back a little so her own thoughts wouldn't be heard and watched waiting for the door to appear.

Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 10:20 PM (GMT)
*Dorien was skeptical but did as he was told. He closed his eyes and thought of a black grand piano over and over and over. he concentrated on it, pushing everything from his mind, including his current state of hunger. Sure enough, when he opened his eyes, there was a door. Facinated, Dorien walked over and opened the door to find a well lit room with rugs up on the wall for acoustics. He stepped in and in the very center there was a grande steinway and sons piano that was open. Seated in front of it was a polished wooden bench that matched perfectly* "Wow......." *He took a step in and noticed a chair at the other end* "This is amazing..."

Diana Wulfric - July 6, 2007 10:25 PM (GMT)
When the door finally appeared she stepped forward but let him open it to reveal what was behind the door. She smiled at his surprised expression as he looked in. The room was simple but awesome she noticed as she let her eyes roam around. Then finally her eyes landed on the piano and her smile widened.

"What did you expect?" Diana asked her voice soft once again as she followed him in and let the door close behind them.

Dorien Hurt - July 6, 2007 11:32 PM (GMT)
"Not this....." *He walke dover and ran his hand across a rug hanging on the wall* "I have these up in my room for the accustics.......It'll have great sound quality..." *He was really amazed. Dorien walked over to a table where a great variety of sheet music sat ready for him to play* "So....explain the room....how does it work? Does it give anyone whatever they want?"

Diana Wulfric - July 8, 2007 06:21 AM (GMT)
Diana watched as he walked round the room in awe examining everything and anything as would a child who had just acquired a new toy. She leaned back against the wall near the door and just watched, letting him speak first.

Once she heard his question she shrugged. "Pretty much, it's the Room of Requirement after all," she told him s small smirk on her face. "Really you just close your eyes and think of something you want and it'll appear from thin air. Like this."

Diana closed her eyes and concentrated thinking on what she wanted and suddenly a glass of water appeared in her hand. She tilted the glass towards him and then took a long drink letting the cool liquid slid down her throat.

Dorien Hurt - July 8, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
"Wow..." *He then realized how much this room could help him if he was ever in a fix and couldn't go hunting. Dorien tried not to think about that, not wanting a bucket of blood or something to appear. He sat at the piano and ran his hands over the keys, not playing yet*

Diana Wulfric - July 8, 2007 11:43 PM (GMT)
After Diana swallowed the water she smiled at his wow. She thought it was a little funny at how amazed he was. When he sat down and ran his fingers along the piano she glanced at him asking, "Want me to leave?" She didn't want to intrude after all, it was rude.

Dorien Hurt - July 8, 2007 11:47 PM (GMT)
"What?" *HE looked back at her. He hadn't been paying close attention* "Leave? No, you don't have to unless you want to. You can stay. I don't mind at all. Just as long as you don't find classical music boring....and if you do......don't let me know." *He smiled and held the piano book out to her* "Pick out a song and tell me the page number it starts on."

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 12:05 AM (GMT)
Diana was glad he didn't want her to, after all she wouldn't be able to go outside since it was much later and she wasn't tired at all. She smiled at what he said and took the piano book he held out to her. Looking through she knew she was defiantly lost as she hardly ever listened to this kind of music. So instead she randomly picked one out, that had a nice name.

"Alright, page number 23," she told him.

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
"Good choice. Claire de la lune by debussy....a personal favorite..." *He grinned and started to play it by heart. He played it very well, showing off a little. Dorien was able to play it much better than most humans because of how fast he could move. He could hit more keys so it really sounded like more than one person was playing. He lookeda t her and grinned, paying on without looking at the keys*

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 12:19 AM (GMT)
Diana was about to hand Dorien the book for him to look at when she heard piano music fill the air. So instead she glanced around and pulled up the chair, that had appeared eariler, to where she had been standing and sat down.

Listening on she was surprised to hear that he was very good, better than anyone she had ever heard before. Even though she didn't remember how to read music she knew he was hitting everynote. When she noticed him look at her and continue playing she smiled her green eyes holding his gaze. "Show off," she told him as she let the music relax her.

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
*He chuckled and finished off the song. Dorien let his hands rest a moment and turned hallf way to look at her* "I've always loved that song....pick another one...." *He grinned, loving this game. He always made Alice or jasper pick songs. He'd done it so long they all knew what songs were on what pages as well.*

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 12:30 AM (GMT)
"You play very well. It was amazing," Diana told him then laughed as she heard him asking to pick another song, but did so. She flipped through the book but stopped more towards the end and said, "Umm how about page 78." Once she finished she glanced back up at him waiting having a feeling he knew every song in the book.

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
"You're very good at this.....you're picking all the right songs." *He smiled* "Moonlight Sonata, first movement. And in little print in parenthesis it should say sonata number 14 in C sharp minor. And under that it should say Beethoven." *He smiled and began to play, once again from memory. This song was dramatically different from the last. It was slower and had a very sad mood. He played with conviction, playing it just as well as the last*

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 12:42 AM (GMT)
"Well it comes with practice," Diana joked about being able to pick all the right songs. As he spoke again she glanced down at the book at page number 78 as he read off what was written there. And not to her surprise, it was all correct.

She smiled as she looked up to watch him play. He had to play at least every day for hours on end to get this good or maybe it came naturaly, but if so he was very lucky. The song's mood changed dramatically she noticed but it didn't bother her, it was still beautiful and relaxing in it's own way.

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
"This is my brother's favorite song that I play." *He continued playing,* "There's like.....3 or four movements. It's all very long all together. I can play them all but I'd need the music for the last two movements." *He was silent for a moment and kept playing, knowing it was going to come to a close in a minute or two* "You happened to pick one of the longest songs in there." *He said with a smile* "I hope you don't mind"

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 12:53 AM (GMT)
Diana was quiet waiting for him to finish to speak when he spoke telling her it was his brothers favorite song. Also how it was a long song and that he would need the book for the last 2 movements. Standing she moved around him to the other side and put the book in front of him so he could finish the last movements, she wanted to hear the whole song.

As she went back to sit down she noticed he went quiet but when she sat down he spoke up again. Smiling she shook her head. "No I don't mind at all. It's beautiful music, no matter the mood," she told him pausing. "Plus it's relaxing."

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 01:01 AM (GMT)
*Dorien glanced at the book* "No, they're not in there. It's alright though. You're not missing anything." *He smiled and finished the song, ending on a very low note* "Do you play any instruments?" *He asked, turning and leaning against the piano so he could look at her and talk*

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Diana smiled a little at his reply, there was no way she would know if they were in there or not. When she heard his question she shook her head. "Not anymore, I didn't when I was younger. When I went to a muggle school, but I didn't play long. Maybe a year," she grinned and shrugged. "I'm not musically inclined."

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 01:22 AM (GMT)
"You remind me of my sister a little* "He said and smiled* "She always tried to pick up different instruments but she allways gets frsterated and breaks them." *He smiled* "Do you have any brothers or sisters?"

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
"How many siblings do you have?" Diana asked suddenly curious as Dorien spoke about her being like his sister. "Though I didn't brake my instrument, don't think my parents would have been to happy about it." She smiled at him then went on to answer his question. "I have one older brother."

Dorien Hurt - July 9, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
"A brother and a sister. Alice has a bit of a temper. She's broken a violin, a flute, and a trombone." *He smiled* "I'm the only one really interested in music." *He said then decided to stop talking about himself so much* "What's your brother like?" *His head was starting to throb again and he was very consious of the fact that they were alone and she smelled really good*

Diana Wulfric - July 9, 2007 02:22 AM (GMT)
Diana laughed when she heard about his sister, it seemed like they all had tempers. She had a feeling she didn't want to be any where near any of them when they were having a bad day. At the sudden change of topic she had to think of how to answer. "Well he can be protective, but all around he's a pretty cool guy."
