Title: Reading
Description: Mel...?

Adeyla Kain - July 14, 2007 08:13 PM (GMT)
Adeyla sat in the front of the library, just before the doors. She was looking for anyone she could recognize as she had been gone for a bit and was now back. She had heard that her older sister Delilah had gotten worse... And the WORST thing of it all? Adeyla was starting to look more like her. She had the eyes and the voice but luckily she was a full foot shorter and had lighter hair so she could hide it in most cases...She even cut the Ferrari out of her last name...

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 01:14 PM (GMT)
Tynan walked slowly toward the library, his book bag heavy on his shoulder. After many warning from Madame Pince, he'd finally gathered up every single book he could find and stuffed them all in his bag fully intending to return them. As he walked into the library he noticed the girl sitting there, he recognized her immediately and walked over, sitting himself by her.
"Hey Adeyla, 'member me?" He smiled at her, shrugging his book bag to the floor next to him.

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 02:33 PM (GMT)
She didn't even have to look up from her book to recognize the voice, so she chose not to. Not looking up from her book she simply responded "Unfortunately I do." She turned the page and pretended to continue to read. "May I help you?"

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 02:40 PM (GMT)
Tynan looked taken aback for a moment, then plunged onward. "No, I doubt anyone can help me, but thats the way it goes." He said, with a joking tone of voice. "I just got back from a few months in Germany studying water creatures." He continued, making every attempt to engage her in conversation. "How have you been?"

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 02:48 PM (GMT)
((OOC: OMG I so read that wrong!! I thought you were Tyrin and I hate him lol. I didn't mean to be an asshole I am SOOOOO sorry lol))

She still didn't look at him. "Fine. I dropped the Ferrari now so I'm just Adeyla Kain... And I've gotten over the fact that the love of my life disappeared for god knows how long without even a goodbye, or a letter." Her eyes watered a little but she wouldn't let them drop. She brushed her hair away and read on.

((OOC2: Even though I was the one that was gone lol))

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 03:05 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Well that explains it... I thought it was some new plot idea you came up with))

Tynan moved closer to her. "You've got to understand. I couldn't send a letter. We were at the bottom of the ocean half the time and when we were on land we were working." He said, although his excuse sounded lame even to himself. "And I meant to say good-bye, really I did... But I left in such a rush." He added lamely, already sure that his excuses were only going to make things worse.

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
She shook her head. "Good to know how much I meant to you." She looked for the first time into his face, slamming her book onto the table. She had deffinately grown up. Her baby fat was gone and all of her 'cuteness' had grown to pretty. "You missed so much Tynan... I don't know how I could ever forgive you."

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 03:12 PM (GMT)
Tynan stayed seated, looking up at her. He seemed confused as sometimes happens when guys don't understand girls. He had apologized after all. "Adeyla, please sit down. Tell me what I missed." He said. pleadingly. He stood slowly and looked down at her, "I'll make it up to you how ever I can." He added, hoping to somehow dig himself out of this hole.

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Just assume you won't be forgiven in here and there is another post in the common room..I'm asleep lol))

Adeyla shook her head. "It isn't that simple Tynan. I've been tortured for almost a year because my sister is a whore. My sister is MISSING right now, my cousin is a father and he's getting married, and every two weeks it seems I find a new sibling."

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 03:21 PM (GMT)
Tynan looked at her for another moment then picked up his bag, shouldering it and smiling a little sadly at her. "Alright then... I'll... See you around then?" He spoke as though he wasn't at all sure he would. "I'm sorry I disturbed your reading. I thought you'd be happy I was back." He just looked at her, looking as though he was about to leave, but not moving, hoping she would call him back.

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 03:25 PM (GMT)
"You know what Tynan I would have been so excited you were back if you had let me know you were going somewhere! No warning... No nothing! You could have been killed! That's all I could think about! What if you were hurt! But you didn't care enough about me to let me know you were going so you know what, I see how you really are!"

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 03:38 PM (GMT)
Tynan dropped his book bag again. Turning to look her directly in the eye. "If I had told you, would that have eased your worry? If you had known what I was doing you would have worried more." He said, trying to keep his voice low because of the library. "At least I came back..." He added, letting his sentence trail off. "I was going to stay there and work for the Ministry, but I came back, because I wanted to see you." He sighed and looked down at the floor.

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 03:42 PM (GMT)
She shook her head in anger. "I wouldn't have worried nearly as much if I knew you were actually alive. I could have lived not talking to you the whole time so long as I at least knew where the hell you were!" In their whole relationship before he left she had never raised her voice once to anyone. This was a really new side of her...

Tynan Ulric - July 15, 2007 03:46 PM (GMT)
Tynan shook his head as she shouted, looking taken aback. "You've changed a lot since I left." He said, his voice low and slightly sad. "But I guess I understand. I've got no more excuses for you." He said, shaking his head again. He picked up his school bag and put it on his shoulder, slumping a little under the weight of the still unreturned books. He walked out, looking back at her once and giving her a sad little smile.

Adeyla Kain - July 15, 2007 03:51 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Common room lol))

Adeyla wiped a few tears from her eyes and gathered her things. This was just too hard... Why was life so cruel to her almost all of the time? She was done. She couldn't sit in this library anymore. She ran past Tynan and up the stairs. She just needed to think!
