Jacob yawned silently as he searched the corridors for kiley. He wondered if she had even come to school or if she was still at home in bed. He really needed to talk to her and he hoped to find her soon.



ooc: im not sure what happened after the last post in annoyed so i don't know what all to say...

*Kiley was walking through the halls on her way to the dorm. She had the worst hang over she had ever had in her life, and it was killing her. She had a killer headache and she was exausted. Kiley had on a sweatshirt and her hair wasn't really brushed, just pulled back. And she was holding a mug with very very black coffee in it that she was sipping despite how much she hated it as she walked , her head down, trying to not let the sun hit her eyes, which would send a jolt of pain through her head. She had spent half the morning throwing up and she was not in a good mood.*

"Ki!" Jake shouted to get her attention when he saw her, not considering that she might have a splitting headache. He was just glad to see that she was there.

*Kiley whimpered and cringed when he yelled. Her head ache pounded, her head throbbing. She looked up and saw Jake. Deep down, past the hangover, she was happy to see him...but that was a bad hangover so it was very....very deep down* " 'morning..." *He mumbled, her head still pounding.*

"Oh, sorry. I forgot." he said apologized. "I thought you said it wouldn't be that bad." he then joked, he doubted that she would find it very funny though, "Do you have time to talk?"

"I have no memory of that." *He muttered, more to herself than to him. Kiley set down her coffee mug on the window legde because it was burning her hand. She put her hands in the pouch in the front of her hoodie* "Yeah, I've got time if you promise not to shout anymore, because then I'd have to kill you...and I don't want to have to do that. I'm too tired." *She smiled a little and leaned against the wall*

Jake smiled back but was a little nervous on the inside. He wondered if now would be the best time to ask her, he also wondered if she wouldn't say yes because of Skylar or her old boyfriend that killed himself. "So..." he began.



ooc: sorry, i couldn't remember the bf's name. lol btw, what happened to Skylar?

ooc: weston. and he didn't kill himself. we had to kill him off. long story.
Skylar apparently fell off the face of the earth. lol

*Kiley smiled a little* "What was it that you wanted to talk about?" *She asked, sencing his nervousness. She wondered if it had anything to do with last night. Kiley suddenly felt the stab of dread in her stomach that she may have done something regretable when she was drinking*

"Do you remember anything about last night?" he asked her. He decided it was probably important that she did before he asked her anything else, he hoped so or this conversation might not turn out the way he had wanted it to.

"It's a little.....hazy, to tell you the truth. I remember you at the bar. And then I remember you at my apartment and did I.....did we kiss?" *She asked, hopinng that they did and hoping that that was all. She had a feeling it was, but she wanted to be sure*

"Well...yeah." he answered a little hesitantly, "But that was about all that happened." he hoped she wasn't mad at him and didn't regret it. He looked at her nervously as he waited for her reply.

"Oh......alright." *She smiled, vaguely glad that they had* "Is that alright with you?" *She asked, wanting to be sure it was. She yawned and rubbed her eyes*

"Yeah, of course it is." he answerd with a smile. He wondered how he was supposed to go about asking her out now, "And...I-I was thinking...maybe we should...should" he stuttered, he just couldn't bring himself to ask her. He didn't understand why it was so hard, it shouldn't have been, he was so afraid that she would say no though...

*Kiley smiled genuinly. (sp) Despite her headache and exaustion and stomach ache, she found it terribly cute that he was having trouble asking her whatever it was that he wanted to. She figured he wanted to ask her out, but she didn't say anytihng* "Maybe we should what, Jake?" *He prompted him quietly, not wanting to rush him, but help him*

"Maybe we should go out?" he said quickly and he held his breath as he waited for her to respond. He was relieved just to have gotten the questioon out, but was still so anxious for her answer that he couldn't breathe.

*She thought of weston and felt a little bad...but figured that she needed to move on, and that Jake would be good to help her* "Alright.....I'd like that." *She smiled, watching him for his reaction*

"Seriously? But what about Skylar?" he asked without thinking. He knew they had discussed it the night before but she hadn't been sober at the time, he wanted to see if she still felt the same way now, even though it was obvious she did because she had just agreed to go out with him out

"What abuot Skylar?" *she asked, yawning once again. Kiley sat down on the ground and rested her head on her knees* "My head is killing me..." *She muttered, regreting drinking so much. Kiley didn't really comment on Skylar more because she figured that was all she really needed to say to get her point across*

Jake smiled happily. "Maybe you should go lie down." he suggested, he would have rather spent more time with her but he could tell that she felt awful and probably needed some rest. He decided to make no more comments on Skylar.

*Kiley lookde up at him, a sarcastic smile on her face, her eyes squinted slightly* ((think of the look that jack nicholson does lol)) "Yes, I probably should. Thank you captain state-the-obvious...." *She let her head fall back down on her knees and she groaned. Kiley knew she was being cranky with him but she felt that she had a good excuse to, despite the fact that he'd just asked her out*

Jake sat down next to her. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry." he said with a laugh. "Have you taken anything for your headache?" he asked her seriously, but while still smiling.

*Kiley smiled a little when he laughed, even though her face was covered by her hair and hands and sweatshirt. She shook her head* "No...I drank some coffee, which is disgusting. I don't kow how you stand it." *She leaned her head back and smiled a little* "Then I threw up for about an hour, and then I drank some more coffee. It was great. You should be sorry you missed it." *She opened her eyes and looked at him* "And the best of all was forgeting to close my blinds last night and walking up with the sun in my eyes...it did wonders for my headache"

Jake grimaced at the thought of how terrible her day must have been so far and how it was going to be all day, his head even began to hurt a little. "Just so you know, I told you you needed to stop. I didn't just let you drink and not care enough to try to stop you, but you wouldn't listen." she didn't act like she blamed him, but he just wanted to make sure she knew that he hadn't encouraged her to drink.

"Thanks Jake...I appricate it..." *He smiled a little. Kiley was glad that he had at least tried to stop her, probably knowing that she was going to wake up like this in the morning* "I'm sorry I didn't listen.....just for future refrence, I'm very stubborn. Probably more so when I'm hammered."

"It's okay, you're more fun like that anyway." he joked. He looked at her to see if she was in the mood to kid around or if her hangover took the humor out of his joke.

*Kiley grinned at his remark. Her hangover was starting to feel a little better since she was sitting out of the sunlight with Jake.* "Yeah.....I've been told that before.....I didn't do anything too embarassing, did I?" *She bit her lip and looped over at him with an expresssion of mingled dread and a little hope*

"Nothing too bad. Of course, you may never be allowed back in the Three Broomsticks again, but I they over reacted when they kicked you out." he said with a playful smirk.

"Oh noo....." *She said, hiding her head in her hands. Kiley was laughing slightly even though she was very embarassed as she thought of the different things that she could have done that could have possibly gotten her kicked out of the three broomsticks*

"I'm sure they can replace or repair almost everything. Nothing expensive broke...I don't think...And I'm sure they have people dancing on the bar all the time, they didn't have to make you leave." He said and then nudged Kiley's arm gently to try and get her to look up at him, "I'm just kidding Ki, you didn't kicked out or do anything embarrasing." he said with a laugh.

*Kiley shoved him back playfully, enormously releaved* "You jerk...." *She grinned and leaned her head back* "I was terrified......" *She sighed* "It's not my fault I fell for that...you took advantage of me because I'm sick...." *She grinned and rubbed her eyes*

"Yeah. You would have never fallen for that otherwise." he said with a sarcastic grin. "You must do that sort of thing all the time." he joked, "Or else you wouldn't have been so quick to believe me."

*She blushed a little* "I've been told before that I do really stupid things when I'm drinking....i'll wake up places that I've never been before on the floor with a person that claims they know my and that my name's Allison or something. I don't know..."

Jake laughed loudly. "Then maybe you shouldn't drink anymore." he advised. "At least not on your own, you're crazy enough when you're sober." he said with another laugh. He tried to make it sound like he wasn't telling her what to do.
