Lucas had been gonefrom hogwarts for a while, he ahd missed an entire year of school, he was having to retake that year, he wandered out onto the lake bank, a place he had spent so much of his time in previous years, he looked around, not many people were around, it was getting late in the afternoon, msotwould be eating in the great hall by now...

Adeyla, who had also just returned from a long leave, was already at the lake. She was in a skirt and a bikini top with both feet in the water. She reached up to pull her waist-length hair into a bun and smiled as she succeeded on her first try. She lay back, the sun making her belly button ring twinkle.

Lucas smiled as he looked outover the lake, it was peaceful, somthing he was not use to, not any more anyway, then suddenly he had somthing destract his attention, his head turned to the small flash of light and he saw a girl laying down. "Hmm why not!" he said to himself as he started to walk over to her, he was dressed in his usual attire pair of jeans and a plain white t-shirt...

Adeyla tilted her head back and looked at the person who was coming in her direction. She heard the walking and was slightly startled, but she didn't move. She sighed and put her hands on her stomach, suddenly a little self consious. She was only 15 and over the summer had greatly grown up, but she wasn't used to her new, baby-fat gone body.

Lucas heard her sigh and slowed down a little, stopping about a metre away from her, digging his hands into his pockets "Whats all the sighing about?" he said smiling to let her know it was a light-hearted comment...

Adeyla sat up and turned in his direction. "Nothing really. I just haven't been here in a while and I missed it." She reached a hand out to dip it in the water. "It's so nice out here today." She tried to pretend that she had forgotten about her lack of a top... She wasn't used to being this close to naked around anyone, let alone a stranger.

Lucas sensed her unease and sat down next to her, but not to close to make her any more unrested. "Yeah its really nice!" he smiled as she said abotu her absence. "Ive been away as well, i left about a year and a half ago. I'm glad im back now!"

Adeyla tilted her head to the side, moving her hands from her slightly pudgym but not overly so, stomach. She licked her lips. "I'm not sure I remember you really..." She said, looking at him with lowered, curious eyes. "I'm in Slytherin... Which house are you in?" she asked, wondering why she didn't remember him.

Lucas smiled "Maybe you did not know me!" he layed backwards and looked up into the sky "I am not the loud and proud type of person. And plus its a big school!" he said smiling "And im in Gryffindor! What about you?"

Adeyla wrinkled her nose. "Okay, I just told you I was in Slytherin." She chuckled and shook her head. "Goody-goody Gryffindor huh?" she said, poking his arm. "I've never really been friends with a goody-goody before." She chuckled and looked back into the water, then at him again.

Lucas smiled "Thats a bit of a generalisation isn't it?" he said as he sat back up "Ive had my bad moments, i was in love with a death eater before i left!" he said turning away from here andturning a bit more serious...

She nodded. "May I ask who it was? My family was and still is full of death eaters... Loving one doesn't make you bad, believe me. For a Slytherin, I am a very good girl." She chuckled and poked at her bun. She tilted her head to the side, waiting for his answer.

"Id rather not talk about it, she killed her self, here in the castle acctually!" he tried to lighten his own mood "Maybe i like bad girls!"

She shrugged and nodded. "Well, I'm rather a fan of bad girls myself, but I'm not one." She shook her head. "Too big a heart I guess. Besides, with sisters like the Ferrari twins, I think my family has enough of a bad streak." She bit her lower lip and looked out into the water again.

Lucas looked backat her "What do you think got you into slythirin then? Evil intent?" he said smiling once again to let her know he was joking...

She shook her head. "No... I think it has to do with my family. Cecelia and Delilah Ferrari...They're my sisters. They are Slytherin's too, so I think the hat just sensed my blood and wanted to put me with my family." She rolled her eyes. "Although I am nothing like them.."

Lucas twinged a bit "Thats sensless, i mean the hats spose to be sensible, not naive!" he said lowering his head "I don't know why that annoys me so much, but it does!" he looked back at her and smiled "Well its good ot know your not going to turn all bad and death eaterer on me then!" he said smiling...

Adeyla shrugged. "Meh. I really don't believe in following anyone to be honest. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I have no right to say who's right or wrong." She took her hair out of the bun, because a few small pieces were hanging out. She put it back up, a little tighter this time. "But my family is full of them..."

"Yeah i guess your right, but what fun is having no judgements about anyone ever?" he smiled "Is that even possible to do?" he said as he lay back once agian, feeling the mood had got less uncomfortable..

She nodded. "Very possible. Well... I hate my sisters but they are the only people that I can really judge... I'm sure you've heard of Delilah, and if you haven't, then you will soon. She's a whore and because of her, I am ashamed to be a Ferrari." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "I never thought I could hate someone..."

Lucas smiled "Im glad that your not stuck up then!" he said smiling "I am not to comfortable with the loud bitchy people!" "Although hate is not somthing to be ashamed of, it can be very empowered!" he said trying to comfort her, seeing she was a little cross or annoyed at the direction of the conversation..

Adeyla smiled lightly. "Very empowering. But unfortunately I have a little too much for family than I would like.. I mean I love my sisters because they're my sisters, don't get me wrong, but I just wish they were...better people." She shrugged. "I mean Cecelia isn't as bad as Delilah but neither one of then are very good."

Lucas looked back at her "Are they still here at hogwarts?" he said inquisitavly. Lucas found himself becoming more and more intrigued by the girl, he saw incredable depth to her, he smiled at her as he waited for her to answer,adjusting his hair as he relised it was still done from the day before

Adeyla rolled her eyes and nodded. "Unfortunately they both still go to school here. I have to see them on a daily basis, although now that you mention it, I haven't seen Delilah in a few days..." She shrugged. "All for the best I assume anyway. She can't get into trouble if she isn't here."

Lucas felt a bit sorry for her, having such people she hated so much being around here the whole time "At least there not in your year, or any of your classes!" he said trying to uplift her "Right?" he said lowering his head a little and speaking a bit firmer..

She smiled and nodded. "You're right. They're all much older than me so..." She stood and reached for the side of her skirt to tug it off. "I think I want to go in the water. You can join me if you like, but if not that's fine too." She turned to look at him over her shoulder as she allowed the skirt to drop.

I am so there. Lucas though to himself as he stood up "Well i suppose i could join you!" he said with a smile on his face. tease. Lucas thought to himself as he took his t-shirt off revieling his sort of muscelar body and losened hisbelt kicking them off, his trainers and socks joining them...

She hopped into the water and flipped her hair back, taking it out of the bun and allowing it to fall to it's full length all the way down her back. It was wet now, so it was even farther than it had been when it was dry. She dunked her head under the water, then looked back in his direction. "Like swimming?"

Lucas walked into the water and started wading towards her. Thank god i didn't wear white boxers. he thoguht as his face brightened up at the sight of Adeyla, he smirked wading in "More like floating, im more chilled out than sporty!" he said as he aly back and started to float around..

She giggled and swam in his direction. "I'm pretty sporty now to think of it. I love football but I am a wiz at Quiddittch. I like being the beater, but usually they won't let me since I'm so small... I usually just end up being a chaser... Being 4'11" is kind of unfortunate sometimes isn't it?"

Lucas regained balence within thewater and swept the stagnent water off his face "Well im more into muggle sports, perticularly Basketball!" he said smiling,he then rose to his full height "6'2" he said as he peered down at her in a light hearted mocking way..

Adeyla moved her eyes up, but didn't tilt her head upwards. She sighed. "Jerk..." She chuckled and licked her lips. "I wish I was taller, but I've gotten used to being tiny." She did a bit of a backflip and swam under the water water until she was a bit farther away from him than she had been before.

Lucas watched her lick her lipsand then gracefully move away, he cocked his eye brough "Nice" he muttered, not loud enough to be heard unless he ahd Adeyla's attention already which he doughted he did as she was swimming around doing her own thing. is this cat and mouse or somthing. Lucas thoguh to himself as he leisurly swam towards her...

Adeyla stood and flipped her hair back. She looked in his direction. "I love to swim. It's a good form of exersize you know. Very good. I come out here every day and do this..." She looked around for the giant squid. "Squiddy!" she said, in a sweet, low voice. "Come here baby!"

"I like swimming too, but more as a chilled out relaxing activity as apposed to harsh exersize!" he said coming up behind her "So you have friends down there?" he said as he peered over her shoulder, watching her trying to attract somthing closer...

The giant squid, ten times the size of Lucas swam forward. "Good boy!" she said, hugging one of his long legs. "This is my friend. I call him Squiddy." Most people were petrified by this kind of creature, but she didn't find him scary at all. She loved him. He was very protective of her.

Lucas stumbled back nerviously for a second "Yeah because you know, befriending agiant squid is completly normal!" he said laughing at his own spike of humor "Protective enough to like eat me for beign within a metre of you?" Lucas said as he stumbled back to his previous position very close to her....

Adeyla chuckled. "If you mess with me he might." She shook her head with a laugh and watched as the squid splashed him. She snorted. "He understands english you know. He may not speak it but he knows what you're saying so I would be careful." She patted his arm.

"Is that right?" Lucas said rhetorically. Lucas moved to the side of herand looked around him for the nearest end of one of the large tenticles "Well does he understnad the classic symbol of respect and friendship among teenagers?" he asked as he raised his hand up in a high five position..

Adeyla reached up to touch his hand, and pull it down. She shook her head with a chuckle. "No, he really doesn't." She rolled her eyes and looked him up and down. "He doesn't have hands first of all, and second of all he was never a teenaged human." She couldn't hold back her giggles.
