Title: Do You Like The Plot?

Comment here on the new plot, suggest little additions and your general consensus on it.

Please do not say "I preferred the old one." We could into continue with the Voldmort plot because of DH.

We don't really have many creatures on the site. Kiley, Dorien and, if he's accepted, Thane. So I don't see how this is going to work properly. I like it, but I'm not sure it shall work. Can people challenge for the wand as it was pretty obvious that happens in DH

The main movement is to allow Wizards to Rule muggles and all other things. Create a human pecking order.

I understand about the creature thing - but ast he plot progresses more minorities will be targets. Like all Wizards with the legilimency ability - they will be deemed to have stolen ancient skills etc.. blah blah blah.

As far as challenges go - I suppose its possible, yes.

It's tough to say if the new plot is good or not right now... I can see a lot of problems with the reasons that Flame mentioned. Personally, I think it has potential to be better than the gryffindor-ravenclaw vs. slytherin-hufflepuff.

The main problem that I see is that Sentinus won't have a broad appeal. Maybe what you can do is have him make general statements that sound good to everyone, but really mean something awful. Kind of like what politicians do. For example, the clean air act. It sounds good, but it actually put more pollution in the air than if it hadn't been implemented.

Yeah, see...what you need to do is make it so what he says means more than people think it does, like Umbridge's speech at the welcome feast except...he could say something about 'ridding the magical world of evil', but not mention that his idea of evil is stuff like werewolves and vampires. Do you get it?

I actually disagree. I think his motives should be made absolutely clear. Werewolves are feared nad hated anyway, Vampires little more. Wizards would revel at the chance to give their children better futures. Its like in RL - I wouldnt want my kid going to school with a convicted murder, or someone who took a gun to school. Werewolves take their gun - the ability to transform.

it doesnt make sense for many to support them.

I agree with Tyrin; although there will be some who support Werewolves and Vampires many wont. Werewolves are feared by the wizarding community (look at the reaction to Remus.) Werewolves are probably considered volatile and are only kept in check by a potion. I assume Vampires would be feared for similar reasons. So it wouldn't be to hard to gather support. Plus people are always looking for a leader someone just has to spout the right ideals to get followers.

Though i do agree with Flame on the fact i haven't seen many creatures about on Lumos. Other than that i think the plot sounds quiet interesting. I'm actually thinking of having Craven apply to join the Family, Fawne's on the other side of the opinion however and would support werewolves.

A little off topic at the moment, but imagine how long it would take trying to RP this plot if there were say, 40 werewolves and 30 vampires. I think a smaller number is better for this kind of thing.

Me too, because then, the people who have to go on the run won't have to be at a brick wall for RPing for a long time.

Yes, that's what I was thinking about cause, you know, Kiley's a werewolf so she's gonna have to go on the run and stuff, and I was just thinking that...it's gonna take a long time for all of it to finish up.
