Tyrin entered the Owlery to find Mel whom he has been looking for. He moved over to her and looked into her eyes. THe last time they had been alone they had revealed themselves as animagi.

"Hello Mel," he said in a visage of friendliness.

*Melanie knew that Tyrin was the one who was leading the rally against werewolves. Since then she lost all respect for him. She look back at him, not smiling her usual friendly smile, just looking.*

Melanie:"Yes?" *she asked, not really interested in what he had to say at all.*



~Mel

"Sentinus sends his regards and respect to you," TYrin smiled, that should catch her attention. "He also sent you this." Tyrin offered his his hand and in it was a folded orange sash. Tyrin smiled, she would ask questions and he would happily answer them.

Melanie:"No. I know what that is...people in the family wear them. I don't want to support killing, and that's what you're doing." *Although she wouldn't admit it to anyone else, receiving regards and respect from someone so important was very...flattering.*




~Mel

"Not killing," he whispered, "Clensing Mel- we are saving many wizarding lives from death by sacrificing the minority."

SHe wasnt asking the right questions, he said something which ought to. "Besides, people like US do well with Sentinus."

*Melanie raised an eyebrow*
Melanie:"What do you mean 'like us'?" *She asked, almost sounding offended*"Like humans?" *she was about to go into a huge rant about werewolves being humans too, but if Tyrin had any sort of brain, he would stop her NOW.*




~Mel

"Animagi!" He snapped. "We are treasured in the Family, those who have become Animagi are truly gifted with magic and are treated as lords in the Family. We are given powers and are truly loved by the Grand."

Melanie:"What sort of powers?" *she asked, now curious about this. Treated as lords? Given powers? Loved by the leader? Maybe she could finally be better than Kiley at something after all....

NO! She couldn't think that. By joining The Family she would be betraying Kiley and would ruin their friendship. Friendship, to Melanie, was better than power.*


~Mel

"We are taught new things, healing magics - useful stuff that can help Wizards all around the world. We lead sections of the Family - we are leaders, resepected and revered. Melanie. You were born to be part of it."

He forced the sash into her hands.

Melanie:"Healing magic?" *that definitely meant something to Mel, seeing as she had hopes of becoming a healer. She could use the things she learned to advance in her career faster than most....*"I don't think so. My mum helped werewolves and vampires for a living...for the Ministry...I was raised thinking a certain way...."



~Mel

"And what happened to your mother?" Tyrin smiled concernedly. " Why should you risk your greatness for some off hand werewolf? You could aspire to do good for Wizards and Witches all over the world - you could be something that dog Kiley is not.There is no good or evil Mel, only power and those too weak to seek it."

OOC: Had to include the PS/SS quote lol.

*Melanie glared at Tyrin*
Melanie:"My mother was murdered by my father, a death eater, because he let power get to his head. He decided that family didn't matter anymore. My brothers are lucky to be alive today, since they were almost killed by him, too. A power hungry b*stard. I'm not like him."



~Mel

"No, you are not. Your mother would want to see you joining a great cause - helping Wizards succeed everywhere, preventing any others like your father from immerging. Fenrir..." he began, "His wolfism lead to his evil. We can end suffing and pain, we can remove those who are evil. We can strive to a utopia."


The vision was so rich, something Tyrin fully believed in, when said like that it was enough to capture anyones heart. "The Grand Sentinus would like to meet with you and I Mel. He says that you and I are important to the cause, that we have special responsibilities."

Melanie:"Fenrir's the one that bit Kiley...he's the reason that you're trying to kill her....I want to kill him. I want to make him hurt and bleed like he's done to Kiley...." *she didn't care if that wasn't exactly how the family worked. If she was given the opportunity to personally inflict pain on Fenrir, it would probably be the worst he'd ever felt.*

"Special responsibilities? Why does he trust us with so much power just because we're animagi?" *she was only trying to seem reluctant anymore because she wasn't going to let herself believe that she was actually beginning to like the sound of The Family.*


~Mel

"We wield powers few possess, he knows we are determined to honour the family - use our powers for the good of the Family. We are Sentinus's favoured ones. Mel - you know you were born for this."

He waved his wand and a picture of a dead Fenrir appeared. "Don't you want to see this? The death of so much evil, a better world. A better world for you and Kiley? Maybe Kiley can be cured eventually - we both know the Family is for the better."

Then the picture changed and it showed Harshing, not dead but brandishing his wand, screaming "Avada Kedavra" and the screams of hundreds echoed through the owlery. Tyrin leaned in, almost kissing her and whispered: "Don't you want to rid the world of Harshing? The Family want him dead, he possesses many powers and is working against us."

"Join the cause," a tear formed in his eye, "and rid the world of this." he shouted as he pointed to the man he and many others hated.

Melanie:"I...well...."*she started, but she didn't know what to do anymore...she wanted Harshing and Fenrir gone so badly....She wanted Kiley to be cured, she wanted power, she wanted to be loved, she wanted a parent figure, she wanted everything that The Family was offering to her....*

Melanie:"I'll think about it." *she finally replied. Before Tyrin could stop her she stood up, threw the sash back at him, and ran out of the Owlery.*

Tyrin smiled, she would come round. He had offered her too much. He would speak with her very, very soon and then, she would be lured into the Family. Afterall, it offered everything she wanted, desired.
