*It was a little bit past 1 am, and Melanie was walking through the cemetary, looking for her mother and sister's grave. She was carrying her backpack, as usual, but it was filled with a little bit more that she normally had. She intended to stay here for a while.

Melanie had been feeling like she was missing something lately. She didn't know what, exactly. Not for a while atleast. She finally realized what it was. Becky and her mom.

She had stayed up in her bed for a few hours, tossing and turning uneasily, having a nagging feeling in her chest. There was something she needed- and wanted- to do. So she got up, grabbed a sleeping bag and packed her backpack with a few extra things and set off to the cemetary.

So there she was, walking along searching in the darkness for the right gravestones. She knew they were right next to eachother so it wouldn't be much of a problem to find the other after she found the first one, but it was a matter of being able to read them in such horrible lighting. She cursed herself for not having a light, and then proceeded to curse whoever made the underage magic law.

She continued walking for a while. She didn't know how long it was, but it didn't really matter to her. All that mattered was that she eventually found the graves. She did. They were under a dogwood tree that was covered in flowers. Melanie smiled. There wasn't a better place for her sister and mother. Not anywhere in the world.

Melanie unrolled her sleeping bag, setting it between the two graves. She took off her backpack and placed it on the ground near her. She got situated in the sleeping bag and closed her eyes.*

Melanie:*mumbled*"'Night mum. 'Night Becky." *And, with a new feeling of ease and safety, she fell asleep.*

"M-Melanie? What're you doing here?" Paige asked Melanie, bending down and shaking her. She had been there to visit Claire, which she did twice or three times a week. It was morning.

*Kiley had been going to the graveyard to put some flowers on her own mother's grave when she saw Mel on the ground.* "Mel?" *she asked walking up to her.* "What are you doing?"

*Melanie's eyes shot open and she immediatley sat up. When she saw that it was only Kiley and Paige rather than some ax murderer, she smiled a tired smile.*
Melanie:"Hey." *she said with a yawn*"I couldn't sleep last night so I came here."


~Mel

*Cecil watched the girls talk from above in his pheonix form.*

OOC: If you haven't read "A Changed Man" He's black now.

Paige read the tombstones and said, "Oh Melanie. I'm so sorry."

Melanie:"It's ok." *she said shrugging.*"I just thought I should visit...I haven't yet and...I kind of miss them. Ok, I really miss them. Well...I miss them a lot more than that I just don't know a word for it."

Simner had fallowed Kiley hopeing she would know where Melanie was and he saw her. He had brought some flowers with him for resons unexplained and placed them at his parents and little sisters grave. He walked over to Melanie and put an arm around her as he saw what the tomb stones said. he gave her a long kiss on the cheek"I am so sorry" he wisperd in her ear

*Kiley sighed and looked away from the tombs. She felt so bad...it was Kiley's fault for Becky's death. She couldn't bear to see Mel like this anymore.* "I'll er....I should go..." *she mumbled, turning around.*

Simner stood up and put an arm around Kiley and pulled her close so only she could hear him "Kiley...I know you think its your fault for Beckys death..but its not....you had nothing else to do" he said huging her "But please...Melanie will need you now more then ever...after the thing with Wittle"

Melanie:"No, stay." *She whined*"Please." *she shivered slightly*"Not only am I lonely and in need of hugs I'm cold and need to steal your body heat."



~Mel

At the plead from his fiance he left Kiley and huged Melanie very close to kis and stroked her hair softly

*Melanie smiled contently*
Melanie:"Now that's better, but I still need my Kiley. And my Paige, if she would like to join."



~Mel

*Cecil landed behind the gravestone and reverted. He kept his face covered.* "A death of a family member." *He said.* "It can take a toll on you."

*Melanie was a bit surprised at the sudden appearence of a new voice ((If that makes any sense. I'm in my dumb mood)). She thought for a moment before she realized that it was Cecil*
Melanie:"How are you coping?" *she asked in a motherly sort of tone*




~Mel

*He looked at Melanie.* "How does it look? I have nothing left in this world. You have someone to love and friends to help you."

Melanie:"What am I, just a blur?" *she was offended by what Cecil had said*"Don't you consider me your friend, because I consider you to be mine."



~Mel

*Cecil sighed.* "Look. You have people here helping you coop with the loss. I don't. I was at my sister's grave a few days ago, and you wanna know what I got? Some guy saying he wants me to help get rid of all muggles." *He huffed. He took a deep dreath and exhaled.* "You still have family in this world too, Melanie. You have a child on the way, and a fiance." *He started again.* "I have no family, no child to hope for, no one to love."

Melanie:"Then you aren't looking hard enough." *She said sternly*"Either that or you've set enormously high standards for yourself, because you're the kind of person that most girls would love to go out with."*she sighed*"You just have to tell them you're interested."


~Mel

*Cecil pulled back his hood and showed his lifeless-like eyes.* "Are you sure that any girl would ever want to go out with me now?" *He said.*

*Melanie gently pulled herself away from Simner and stood up. She stood right in front of Cecil*
Melanie:"If you smiiillleeeee." *she put her index fingers on his cheeks and moved them so Cecil was in a forced smile. She grinned*"See? All better."


OOC: Mel is such an idiot. lol.



~Mel

*Kiley smiled weakly when Simner hugged her, but she still knew it was her fault. She went to lean agenst the tree, feeling like she was intruding on something.*

When Melanie left to go over to Cecil simner stood and Huged Kiley angein and storked her hair "Its not your fault.." he said softly in her ear

Paige sighed. Things like this always happened in a graveyard. the stupid place already gave her the creeps, and now all of this sadness, and sorrow....she knew Simner's parents had died, and she knew Allison had died. But she hadn't known Mel's family. she stayed by the tombstones for 2 reasons. She was afraid of the graveyard, and she didn't want to get in Mel and Simner's way.

*Cecil backed away.* "I have nothing to smile about anymore."

*Melanie frowned*
Melanie:"Well if you're going to be so just...BLAH when I'm trying to help you I'm just not going to try to help you." *She turned away from Cecil and crossed her arms over her chest*



~Mel

*Cecil pointed his wand at a tree and destroyed it with a spell.* "Don't you get it Melanie?! I HAVE NOTHING LEFT IN THIS WORLD!" *He shouted.* "My sister is dead, my parents are gone!"

Melanie:"Oh, I get it. I didn't have anything left in the world for a while either, but you don't see me blowing up trees." *she complained*"And you know, I'd really prefer you didn't blow up the trees where MY family is buried."

Simner just watched. He was still huging Kiley and softly strokeing her hair.

Melanie:"I'm trying really hard not to burst into song right about now." *she commented randomly*"I give up! He was the same way, he was always 'run away, hit the road, don't commit' YOUR FULL OF S**T!" *she finished and smiled*"Ok, I'm better."


~Mel

"Melanie!"he sang "Hes just in dinaial!"


OOC:melanie and cecil should sing "I'd be happy to die for a taste of ...can't think of a person right now...

*Kiley fell to the ground when Cecil destroyed the tree, seeing at she was leaning agenst it. She groaned as she hit, but didn't get up. She looked over in the direction where her mother was burried, thinking.*

*Cecil looked up.* "I think I'll take up that person's offer." *He said aloud.*

*Melanie shrugged*
Melanie:"And I'm not going to try to stop you, because whenever I do I end up hurt."*she confessed*"You need to be a little less harsh on the people who are your friends."



~Mel

*Cecil sighed.* "Who do you think was the one TRYING TO SAVE YOU when Wittle took over the school? Sure wasn't Simner, nor anyone else. It was me." *He said.* "Or did you forget that part? Because that more than qualifies me as a friend."

Melanie:"I KNOW that." *she said through gritted teeth*"You obviously aren't getting the point that you go and save me and then expect me to treat you like a saint when I get no respect or thanks for anything I do!"



~Mel

*Cecil turned and faced Simner.* "I hope you have a good life, man." *He said, then looked at Kiley and Paige.* "Kiley, Paige. How about I walk you two back to the castle?"

Simner gave Cecil a harsh look when he blew up the tree. He went to Kiley and try to help her up "Cecil! does everything have to be about you? 'Oh my lifes you horrible! I have nothing to live for!' why don't you let someone else show how they feel? you see when Wittle asked me to hurt Kiley and Melanie, I gave up everything! I had all the power I could ever want! but no I gave it up becuase I care about them!"

Paige shrugged and said, "sure." quietly to Cecil's offer. She wanted to get away as fast as possible.

Simner took a breath then kept going "It's because I love them Cecil! Kiley is closer to me then my own sister! and I love Melanie more then life it self..so don't tell me I wasn't trying to protect them"
