*Kiley sat in a bar, reading the paper. There was an article in there about some mysterious deaths, most of wich involved, either directly or indirectly, a magical creature* "Mysterious my ass...." *She murmered, turning the page and taking a drink. She had a plate of untouched food in front of her that was already cold*

James entered the bar and coughed roughly. "Damn.. flying.." he muttered as he sat down. He ordered a drink, he seemed flustered and bothered- yet at the same time full of energy. "You going to eat that?" He asked, eyeing Kiley and the plate of food back and fourth. He didn't have enough time to eat breakfast this morning and he was starving.

*Kiley looked up from the paper at the man that was talking to her. At first, she wasn't entirely sure what he was talking about when he asked if she was going to eat that. eat what.....do I know you? Then she remembered her food and looked at it* "Oh....no, you can have it. It's cold." *Kiley folded her paper and pushed the plate towards him*

Taking out his wand, he exaimned Kiley more closely. She looked slightly familiar, but he shrugged it off. He'd lived here for awhile now everyone probably likes familiar to him now. He flicked his wand and the plate of fire caught fire, "Dammit!" He piratically shouted and flicked his wand again. The fire extinguished, though the food was slightly burned.

*Kiley jumped back when the food caught fire* "Holy crap......" *She pulled her own wand and waved it so the charred food was sent away. She raised her hand and the wairess came back over* "Um....can I have another one of whatever htat was?" *She asked, glancing down at the burned table. When the waitress walked away she turned back to James* "So....do you light stranger's food on fire often?"

James raised an eyebrow and watched the waitress walk away, "You'd be surprise how many things I set on fire," He said, shifting in his seat. He glanced around the room, noticing a few people had turned their head to stare when the food caught fire. Tucking his wand back inside his cloak he said, "Bad emotions causes bad magic.." He mumbled.

*Kiley nodded* "Yeah, I've heard that before." *She picked at a burn mark on the table with her fingernail. When nothing happened, she let her hands drop back into her lap* "What are you so bent out of shape about that it would cause that to happen?" *She asked curriously*

"Can't talk about it." he mumbled, slightly embarrassed. He looked at his empty cup, staring at it- it was challenging him to drink another one again. He shook his head slowly, "Hard times for Aurors..." He said, sighing. He made a quick glance at her, "Have we've met before?" He asked, curiously.

"No...I don't believe so. I'm Kiley." *She reached over and picked up the profit from where she had tossed it onto the seat next to her. She set it down on the table so they could both easily see the headline, which read 'HARD TIMES AHEAD FOR MAGICAL BEASTS'* "Yeah, I gues it would be hard times with this lot running about." *She said, motioning to a grinning picture of Sentinus*

He read the headlines twice, "Do you believe what that guy says? About how magical beasts and such should all serve humans?" He asked, looking closely at the large text underneath the headline. He fiddled with his empty cup, his eyes fixed on the page.

rogue walked into the bar and over to the barkeep not that far from kiley and james. asking for a room she laid out enough money for a few nights. her cloak was lowered because she was feeling safer in the town. no one had noticed her so far, at least she thought no one knew about her. not noticing kiley or james. the bar tender asked if she would like a drink and she nodded. waiting for the drink and key she turned to face the small crowd of people in the pub.

"No, of course not. I think he's a bloody lunitic." *She said, looking up from the paper to him* "At first I thought he was just another mad man running around, but now that he's starting to recruit followers...I'm not so sure. I think he could really be a danger." *She sighed and stood* "I'll be right back...I want something to drink...." *Kiley hadn't noticed Rogue yet, otherwise she would have yelled from across the room and mauled her with a hug. However, she was still thinking about Sentinus when she bumped into someone wearing a cloak, almost falling over* "Oh sorry..." *She looked up and did a double take. It was her friend that she hadn't seen in so many years, and she could hardly believe her eyes* "Rogue?" *She asked quietly, compleatly forgetting about being thirsty*

rogue had just recieved her drink when someone bumped into her. turning to see who it was that noticed her she smiled and let out a big sigh. then holding her finger up to her mouth in a shushing motion.
"Yeah it's me...."
she gave kiley a big hug. this was the first person she remembered from hogwarts who noticed her.
"kiley is everything ok?"
she asked concerned.
"I was so worried about you......."

*Kiley couldn't help but grin as she hugged Rogue back.* "Yeah...yeah, I'm okay." *She pulled out of the hug, still grinning.* "I mean, it could probably be better but I'm not complaining yet. Wanna come sit down?" *She offered, glad she had opted for the long sleave shirt so rogue wouldn't see the bruises that had been inflicted upon her in the hallways from Family members*

rogue nodded and took her drink.
"i want to talk to you in private.....i have a room here can you come by later?"
she asked waiting for kiley to show her the way to her table.

*Kiley nodded and started walking back to the table* "Yeah, sure. I'll swing by later." *Kiley made her way back to the table where James was and scooted into the booth so that Rogue could sit as well* "I have an appartment....if you wanna stay there instead of having to pay for a room I wouldn't mind." *Kiley figured that it would be safer not to bother with introductionns incase Rogue didn't want him to know who she was*

rogue scooted into the booth by kiley. her eyes caught james sitting at the table also.
"james... nice seeing you again."
she said feeling her face warm up. it seemed like every where she went they bumped into each other.

"Oh, you know him. That's good." *Kiley once again removed the profit from the table and held it on her lap*


ooc: sorry, crappy post. Do you wanna make the topic for Kiley/Rogue now so that we don't get too far ahead in this one without James being here?

James raised an eyebrow, "Well of course she's safe, why wouldn't she be?" He asked, his gaze turning toward Kiley. He didn't know she was a werewolf, even if she was one he wouldn't care that much. Even though he was looking at Kiley his eyes wanted to keep going back to Rogue.

"Kiley ignored the question, not wanting to get anywhere near the subject* "How do you know James?" *Kiley asked Rogue, not looking at him, but instead chosing to pick at her fingernail and looking at her hands. She glanced up at Rogue, trying to let her know not to get anywhere near the subject of Kiley being a werewolf*

rogue looked to kiley.
"i already paid for a few nights here....after i'll probably have to seeing as my money has just about run out."
she turned back to james.
"kiley's very out spoken on things like this it could get her hurt."
she wanted to pull kiley close and protect her friend.
"lets just say i know this place and she's been in trouble before."
she smiled thinking of the times they rebelled at school against harshing. she kept her eyes on james as the smile didn't fade away. she shook her head and took a sip of her butter beer.she looked at kiley and answered awkwardly.
"we met at a bar just recently."
giving kiley the look of :

James shrugged, "I kind of got her drunk and forced her into her room with me," he said, taking a sip of what ever was in front of him. He leaned toward the table, he still felt pretty tired from the day's work- though he can last.

*Kiley couldn't help but smile as she remembered when she and Rogue had been in school together and gotten in loads of trouble together.* Nice save... She thought then sighed, resisting the urge to go OOOOOHHHHH when rogue gave her the look she did* "Normally you only meet creeps in bars...not nice people that set your food on fire." *She said pleasantly, looking at james.*

rogue winked at kiley then looked at james.
"i was already half way to p****d before you got there thank you very much."
she noticed james looking tired a bit.
"you ok?"

OOC: I don't any swearwords starting and ending with P,d.. Hmm.. lol.

IC: "Yea I'm fine, it's just it seemed to get very hot in here when you came in," He said, glaring at his cup. He had to stop doing that, glaring at his drink when he did something bad or embarrassing. He glanced up at Rogue and Kiley quickly, just too see what they were doing.

rogue looked at him. then at kiley and burst out with a giggle.
"that has to be the most corniest but very cute thing anyone has ever said."
she snorted a laugh again and looked at james.
"i'll take it as a comment."

*Kiley had exchanged looks with Rogue and rolled her eyes, grinning* "You must be tired if that's the best line you can think of..." *She muttered under her breath, slouching down slightly. Kiley glanced around the room and saw someone that she thought she recognized as a writer for the profit, but decided it would be best if she didn't say anything. Kiley reluctantly tore her gaze from the reporter and back to James and Rogue* "I can leave if you'd like to talk." *She said to Rogue, knowing the answer would probably be no, but she wasn't entirely sure.....they seemed to like eachother*

she said looking away from james to kiley.
"i haven't seen you in forever ki ki we have alot of catching up to do you know...."
