rogue sat in the high backed comfortable chair . the room was sparce, except for two chairs and a table between. rogue was nursing a glass of brandy in one hand. it had been several hours since rogue had talked to kiley. she was nervous something happened.

*Kiley knocked on the door* "It's me." *She said, keeping her cloak pulled up so people couldn't see her face. She knew if wasn't smart to be alone after dark, but she had to wait untill then to sneak out. Standing in the hall was making her nervous and she wished Rogue would answer the door quickly*

rogue answered the door in three strides. pulling kiley into the room. she pulled her wand and did a few speels so no one could hear them talking or try to listen in as well as come in.
"want a drink?"
she asked offering kiley her glass of brandy.

"Yeah, I do, thanks...." *Kiley took off her cloak and tossed it over the back of a chair. Kiley gratefully took the glass of brandy, glad that Rogue was chosing to ignore that fact that she was not of drinking age for a few more months. Kiley took a sip of the amber liquid and surveyed the room as she sat in the chair* "What was it you wanted to see me about?"

rogue looked over kiley. she couldn't tell if it was stress or something else that made the worry lines appear oin kileys face.
"tell me whats been going on......the truth kiley"
she said as a soft demand.

"Okay..." *She took another drink, figuring she would need it. Kiley pushed her sleaves up without even thinking, showing Rogue the bruises and cuts and everything she had been hiding* "I went to hear Sentinus speak a few weeks ago to hear how crazy he was. Go figure, I got myself in a duel, and I won, and it caught his eye. And um....he invited me to join the Family. Obviously, I.....declined." *She said, knowing that declined was too delicate a word and that Rogue would most likely press for details about how exactly she went about turning down such an offer*

rogue rubbed her face.
"what do you mean "declined" kiley?"
she knew her well enough to know that wasn't the right words.
"what happened after that?"
she asked taking hold of kileys arms and looking more closley. she could tell what had happened after.

"Uh well....I let it slip that I was a werewolf....then I spit on him...then I howled...and then I ran for my life." *She offered up a weak smile, but it faded as she glanced down at her own arm* "Then I hid in the back room of a store and he came and killed the store keeper to let me know who he was dealing with....and then he left." *She sighed* "I know it was stupid but....if you would have heard what he was saying...

"i would have done the same thing"
she said then looked up at kiley with a rogueish smile.
"how bout we try to clean these up? and you can tell me whats been happening at school."
since they were done magically all she could do was clean them the muggle way.

*Kiley nodded and pushed up the sleaves the rest of the way. She smiled* "You've missed a lot.....I was engaged." *She said, reaching for her necklace that had the engagement ring weston had given her on it* "But he died not long after we we became engaged." *She sighed and dropped the necklace* "It's alright though. I'm learning to deal with it."

rogue took out bottles of liquid and sprayed some on kileys arms where the cuts were. looking up from dabbing them.
"Oh yeah..."
she didn't want to ask any questions to get kiley upset.
"what else has happened?"
she wanted to ask about blaise. where he's been who he has been with. where he was now. she wanted to know everything. she came to except the fact that they couldn't be together but he would always be her first love.

"We found Mel's little sister. Remember Becky? We thought she was dead? Well, she isn't. Her dad had been keeping her hostage the entire time. So when we found her, he got thrown in jail and my name was cleared. It isn't now, but it was for a month or two." *She shrugged and whinced slightly as whatever Rogue was putting on her arm to heal her burned.* "A lot of people left Hogwarts and we haven't heard from them since." *She looked pointedly at Rogue* "Where did you go for all this time?"

rogue dried kileys arms and pulled her sleeves back down. turning away she looked at the empty fire grate.
"i traveled. i couldn't handle what was going on and well it was to painful seeing everyone so happy. i decided i had to see other places. find mine place in the world."
she said sadly looking back at kiley.
"i know i should have told you guys but it was the only way......with everything that happened and all."

"Yeah....I understand." *Kiley remembered clearly all that had happened that had caused Rogue to leave Hogwarts. She didn't want to talk about it too much in fear of upsetting Rogue* "So what's the deal with that James guy?" *She asked, grinning. Kiley really had wanting to know about since the whole thing down in the bar earlier*

rogue squeezed her eyes shut. she was such a dork around him.
"i don't know......i mean i like him....."
she said while smiling widley.
"alot actually."
she was feeling like a silly school girl whenever she thought of him.
"i get the butterflys in the tummy and all. i think he's cute but a bit weird. i mean he forced his way into my room and i seriously thought he was going to rape me but then he just looked at me, touched my face and apparated......very odd."
she said with a grin.

*Kiley grinned when she did* "Yeah, it's not obvious at all how much you like him" *She said sarcastically* "He likes you too I can tell. It's pretty obvious as well.....but I dunno...if he tried to rape you or something, even if he did get second thoughts....." *She trailed off, not finishing her sentence*

she looked at kiley.
"i know but something about him attracts me to him. i mean i was probably at my weakest point and he just left. i promise i won't do anything crazy. i just wanna see where this goes."
sje said with a shrug.
"enough about me......do you have a new love in your life?"
she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively and laughing.

*Kiley laughed* "Yeah, I'm dating a kid.....Jake Penny.....he's in slytherin...as if I'm not alienated enough as it is, I'm dating someone from my rival house." *She shrugged* "He's sweet. Not loud or anything. I like him a lot. And he nderstood that for a while I needed some time to heal, and he waited....." *She sighed and grinned, but it faded into a sad smile* "I miss him...I've been avoiding him because I don't want him to get hurt...guilt by association."

rogue made a face. she never really liked people from slytherin because the few she had met were jerks but she knew that not everyoine in slytherin was like that.
"thats tough. i would probably do the same thing, but if he's like me or you he probably would care if they tried to do something because he is your friend."

*Kiley nodded* "Yeah, well, mel doesn't approve. But since when has she ever approved of my boy friend? I don't care. I like him." *Kiley absently scratched at her arm where the cuts were healing because of Rogue putting stuff on them* "Did you meet anyone interesting while you were away?"

rogue slapped kileys hands.
"stop that! they'll get infected."
she said in a motherly tone. then giggled.
"on my trip. i've met loads of people and things."
she made a shiver from some of what she saw.
"the wierdest thing though was a goat that haunted this one castle..... very creepy."

*Kiley gave her a look that clearly said 'Yes Mother' and withdrew her hands, but smiled.* "A goat? I didn't think that animals could be ghosts." *She pondered the though and figured it must be possible if Rogue had seen it for herself* "That's strange"

"well i didn't really it"
she confessed with embarassment.
" a couple of kids from the village were talking about a horrible thing that haunted the old house."
she blushed a deep red.
"well i heard it was supposed to be this deformed goat and..."
she started laughing.
"i couldn't keep away. well i learned my lesson. i let my imagination get away with me and tricked myself into
believeing that there was something there."
she giggled harder.
"i was so scared. peed my pants."

*Kiley burst out laughing.* "Rogue...." *She tried to say, but she was laughing too hard* "Please don't tell m e it was a muggle village as well....that would be even better..." *She tried to stop laughing, which just resulted in her sitting there giggling at her*

rogue stopped giggling and looked at kiley seriously.
"it was......"
she tried to stop the giggling rising up in her.
"whats so funny about that? i was really scared you know?"

*Kiley bit her lip to keep from laughing* "I'm sure it was very frightening......how you made it out alive, I'll never know..." *She started to giggle agian* "Here I was thinking you were going to tell me some grand story about how the goat really was a chimera and you slayed it....." *She sighed, still grinning* "It's quite the story....I would tell everyone that you peed your pants over a muggle ghost-goat."

"Kiley Stewert!"
rogue croaked with eyes bulging.
"if you peep anything to anyone i'll hex you into oblivion!"

*Kiley forced herself to stop laughing, although it was impossible to wipe the grin from her face* "Alright...fine...I won't...." *Kiley hadn't ever intended to tell anyone; she could hear the conversation in her head: 'Hey guys, guess what? I have this really cool friend Rogue that's afraid of a goat-ghost. Isn't that COOL?!?'* "What other scary creatures did you meet on your trip? Although the goat probably tops them all"

"no way!"
rogue laughed.
"i think it was the chameleon ghoul....."
she said in a dark and scary voice.
" i was visiting this a mansion of this really rich couple and ......"
she shook her head.
"i'll never wanna go back there again."

*Kiley kept her mouth shut to keep from laughing. When she trusted herself to speak normally* "Tell me about this one....it sounds horrific..." *It took all her will power to keep from laughing again*

rogue knew kiley was trying very hard not to laugh.
"i'm really really serious about these guys...."
she shivered and sat down on the chair.
"these things. they take on the appearance of suits of armor well it's a bit funny i know but not when your walking by and it drops the ax."
she looked at kiley.
"especially at night time when you can't see if it swinging those what-cha macallits. you know with the spikes on the chain it's like a ball."
she tried describing it the best she could. knowing it would probably make kiley burst with giggles

*Kiley didn't laugh. She had never heard of this before, and found it interesting* "So, what, the ghost would just turn into whatever it fancies? Or was it only a suit of armor?" *She grinned* "If Peeves could do that....we'd be in trouble. It's bad enough that he hides in them..."

"i don't know thats the thing. from what i read they take on the appearance of suits of armour. i've only seen two of them and well it's pretty spooky."
she said leaning back in her chair and pulling her legs up.

*Kiley copied her, leaning back in her own chair and bringing her legs up as well* "So...if you were learing and discovering all these things and everything.....what brought you home?"

"i went full circle...i saw the places i wanted to see and well it brought me back here...i wanted to be......home."
she said the word lovingly. nothing could take this place away from her. she smiled at kiley.

*Kiley smiled back* "I'm really glad you came home." *Kiley yawned and reached for her drink. She took a sip and made a face. She set the glass down and muttered something about an aquired taste.* "Why don't you want anyone to know that you're back?"

"i'm not ready for that yet. i know people here miss me but then there are some who hate me."
she turned and looked at the empty fire place. She did want to see all her old friends like mel, squall, simner, even some of the faces that she just saw in the halls.
"i'm not ready to be welcomed back. i have a feeling it might be helpful to be inconspicuious."

OOC: Hate to break up the reunion lol but lets try and keep the posts around three lines......

*Kiley nodded* "It probably won't hurt....espically now.....with all this stuff with Sentinus going on." *She mused quietly, her eyes shifting to look in the fire as well. Kiley felt bad...she knew that if she had been gone for as long as Rogue had been, that she would want to see all her old friends and get back to life as it was...and she knew now that life as it was would be nearly impossible to acheive*

rogue looked up from the fire. she saw the feeling that were going on all over kileys face. taking another drink from her brandy glass she took a pillow from behind her back and threw it at kiley.
"what are you thinking about?"
