Kian, who was passing all her classes, thank you very much, could almost laugh at the little drones in the library scribbling furiously to save their academic careers. A small titter of amusement did leave her lips, but at the small Hufflepuff boy who had tripped.

Adriana helped her fellow Huufflepuff up as he had tripped. steadying his books she waved him off giving the girl who snickered a hard glare.
"some people can be so rude..."
she said as she walked by her. sitting down at anear by table she took out her book and began to read, just for lesiure.

"Well, aren't we Saint Hufflepuff." Kian said, shrugging. She was a normal teenager. If she'd taken a nose dive, she's have expected people to laugh at her. It was life, and if people didn't get over it quick, well, they'd spend a lot of time worrying about nothing. She shook her head and pulled out her book.

"Not all of us have the IQs of trolls..."
She muttered never taking her eyes off the page. taking a deep breath she went back to reading her book.
some people need to learn manners.
Even thought she could say the same for herself. she still knew what being embarassed felt like and hated seeing other people poked fun at.

"Oh yes, I'm passing all of my classes with exceptional marks because I'm an dolt. People need to learn to laugh at themselves and at others. If you treat every situation like life or death, you'll die. A lot." Kian said, a smirk gracing her pretty face. Normally she abhorred the gesture, but for some reason, at that moment, it felt right. "Life sucks. Fill it with laughter and it wont."

Adriana put her book down.
"Oh yeah like thats cool. i mean c'mon do you really think people make a stink over things like that?"
she said giving the girl a look.
"please. it's just the fact that people like you like pointing out peoples mistakes and making them feel horrible."
she leaned back in her chair.
"So you must be imortal because. you laugh when you mess up or make a mistake?"
She shook her head.

"Of course I do, and I expect others to do the same. If you expect to get coddled now, what's going to happen when the real world takes hold? Growing up sucks, but it happens. I just learned that earlier than a lot of people." Kian shrugged. She was used to people not understanding and it didn't phase her. "Someday people are going to do a lot worse than laugh at him."

Adriana sat for a moment and she couldn't really disagree with her.
"i guess some people are very soft hearted...."
she said not as an insult but as a comment of notice.

and she was. she was one of those girls that tried to see the good in things. not taking in the bad or darker side of things.
