rogue walked around town. she had no more money left except a few knuts she had at the bottom of her satchel. she had heard of this "Grand" and his famous speech. she figured she walk around and see if a crowd was gathered anywhere. she wanted to she what all the halabaloo was about. burrying her hands in her pockets she continued to walk. turning down a street and looking into a few alleys she had seemed to left the busy streets behind her.

OOC: i know nothing about what you posted, but whatever, i'll go along with it, i reckon i got a clue.

BIC: Squall exited a shop on the left hand side. he'd been searching for a decent broom for Quidditch when he decided he liked his Nimbus 2000. it wasn't as fast as the 2001, or the Firebolt, but still, it was good enough for him. and with the competition at Hogwarts, it was all he needed.

as he walked out he, thought he saw a familiar face. doing a quick double check, his mouth fell wide open, as he saw Rogue walking past.

rogue had been feling down latley. it was like she was living to work against the family. shaking her head she continued walking. something caught her eye. someone who looked all to familiar had just walked past her. it took her a momet to realize it was squall. stopping in mid step. she almost cried out. turning around and looking at him. he stoodthere with his jaw slack and opened. getting her nerves together. she walked back towards him.
"i think you're going to catch alot of flies standing like that..."
she said with a smirk. her eyes brimming with tears.
she stepped a bit closer (almost on top of him lol) and flung her arms around him. hugging him so tightly and not wanting to let him go.
"i've missed you. you big oaf."
she said around a lump in her throat.

Squall still didn't move until she was literally strangling him. finally, he managed to move his arms and the wrapped around her, lifting her completely off the floor with strength you wouldn't think he had by looking at him. he swung her around, laughing with the fact he had his old friend in his arms

finally, her put her down, but didn't let go. somehow he looked at her face, and said "i'm shocked, i expected more grief than that, instead you just say i could catch flies? honestly, that was rubbish"

rogue still held on to him also but with one arm she made a fist and punched him in the arm.
"you big oaf! is that all you have to say? i'm shocked. no kiss hello or how're you doing?"
she said unable to stop smiling. she couldn't help feeling so happy. squall was her bestest best friend in the world. flinging her arms around him again she hugged him tight. she couldn't believe aquall was standing in front of her.
"and then just standing there like a fish out of water...."
she grumbaled off with a teasing smile. she brought her hand up to his cheek.
"it's great to see you again."

"a fish out of water? it's better, but lacks your style Rogue."

Squall said with a laugh.

"it's great to see you too, where the hell have you been?"

rogue wanted to slug him in the arm again but all she could do was smile. rogue had tears leaking out of her eyes but she whiped them away.
"i've missed you so much........"
she said happily.
"i've been.....around."
she said off handedly.
"don't worry about me i wanna hear about you."
