Though he wanted to be though with The Family. He knew it would be hard. He had been avoiding all their meetings. He had not gone on any of the werewolf hunts. He couldn't! Not after his encounter with Kiley. When a member would see him they would hurt him. He didn't want that in his life! He was going to quit. He had done it with Wittle he will do it again. Nothing was this impotent. Not even having a family.

rogue stormed throught the town her hands balled into fists. she was raving mad. kiking things out of her way and pushingpeople away too. not seeing where she was going. she was walking when she pushed simner out of the way.
"MOVE!"
she yelled. not seeing who she was talking to or who she pshed.

*Simner turn as he heard a voice yelling. He saw it was Rogue. He grabbed her around the waist. Holding her back so she couldn't move.* "Rogue!" *Simner said, very loudly. He didn't understand why she was storming thought the streets.*

rogue didn't see who had grabbed her. her first instict was to grab her wand which she pulled out and held to his neck. turning her head she saw it was simner.
"its you.."
she said so,e of the anger leaving her.
"what do you want?"
she asked him stepping away just a little bit.

*Dorien had followed Rogue out of the appartment. He was orried she'd finally gone off the deep end over the harshing thing and he really wanted to talk to her. He spotted her with sone guy standing too close to her. It made him uncomfortable. He didn't realize that in reality he was jealous.* "Rogue?" *He called, coming up from behind Simner.*

rogue wanted to cry.she lowered her wand and hugged simner breifly.
"never mind sim. i've had a rough day."
she said to him before he could talk. stepping back again she saw dorien walking up to them. she couldn't blame him. he didn't know what that thing had done to her and her friends.
"dorien."
she replied still seething a bit inside.

"Are you alright?" *He asked a little stifly, simply taken aback from seeing her hug simner. It just really got to him despite the situation. Dorien said nothing to Simner and did nothing to show that he noticed his existance*

rogue looked away.
"no. but i'll be fine..."
she said in the same emotionless tone.
"i'll be fine when i kill that monster."
she looked at simner.
"simner this is dorien. dorien this is simner a good friend of mine."

"I believe we've met before...." *He said reluctantly.* "How do you do?" *He asked simply out of habit.* "I can leave if you'd like." *He added, looking away from simner over to Rogue, hoping she didn't want him to leave.*

rogue was torn. she wanted to talk to simner about him joining "The Family". but then she wanted to be with dorien. there was also the fact of her still being mad. she wanted to be alone.
"no dorien. will you join us for something to drink?'
she asked auddenly dieing for a firewhiskey. that would take away her troubles.

*Dorien forced a smile, thanking the darkness and rogue's apparent anger that she probably wouldn't noticed how forced it actually was.* "That sounds lovely. I'll buy." *Always the gentleman. No matter what. It was all part of the act. He hoped that the stress he was under wouldn't affect tat act and give him up.*

rogue looked at dorien. she ould tell he was forcing himself to do it. stepping forward she touched his hand.
"i would like it if you would just be yourself...."
she said whispering in his ear. then stepping back. she felt defeated and totaly alone. and it showed in her voie.

*Dorien reached out and took Rogue's hand in his as she stepped away. He looked into her eyes to make sure she was okay with it. He felt endlessly guilty about how cold he probably was to her. But her warmpth felt good to him and it felt good to show some sort of posession. He couldn't help but fel somewhat territorial. Dorien hadn't felt any of these emotions in a very long time and they were coming back much stronger than it would have been expected.* "I am....I'll buy the drinks..." *He smiled reassuringly, this time it was mostly a real smile.*

*Dorien kept his grip of Rogue's hand lose, as if he was testing himself, but wanting to comfort her at the same time.*

rogue looked down at the hand covering her. she did feel ccomforted by it. the coldness wasn't that bad after a while.
finally!
she ouldn't help but think as he showed some liking for her. it was probably due to her sour mood. looking up at dorien and the simner she smiled.
"i really need some company now......i wouldn't mind hanging with you two......."

*Although Dorien was holding hands with her, he was still afraid to trust himself to get too close. She smelled so good and he was having self controll issues ever since hee took that stupid potion from Tyrin. And he didn't want to hurt rogue on accident, so he kept a safe distance between them.* "I would like that........Simner?" *He added polietly, secretly reluctant. He would rather talk to Rogue alone.*

rogue gave his hand a soft squeeze as if trying to say thanks for being civil. she looked at him and then at simner. she waited for him to respond.

*Simner watched Dorien and Rogue talk. He shuffled his feet a bit. He looked up finally. *"Sure!"* he said with a smile. He was glad she wasn't as mad at him as Kiley had been. Or maybe she was... and not showing it in front of Dorien. He really hoped that wasn't the case.* "I will buy some food if you like... I haven't eaten anything all day"

"well where do we go from here?"
she asked. she didn't know of a good place to get any good food.

*Dorien smiled.* "That's fine...whereever you'd like to eat is fine....I'm not that hungry." *He looked pointedly at rogue, wondering if she got the joke* Not hungry for anything managable at least....

rogue caught dorins pointed look and then gasped quickly overing her mouth. she almost giggled.
"ummm lets just stick with drinks ey?"
she said. he won't be able to take a bite of anything other than a nice raw steak. she thought to herself.

*Dorien smiled a little when he was sure Rogue understood.* "No, really, I already ate.....lI insist you both eat something anyway...I won't mind people eating in front of me."

she gave him a questioning look just to make sure.
"alright sim where to eat?"
she said looking at her long time friend.

"Where ever" * he said, giving Dorien a weird look. 'Why won't he eat?' he wondered. Simner looked around the streets. "There's always the hogshead. Or the three broomsticks" *Simner gestured to the places he had been talking about. He bit his lip.* "So... Dorien... how is school going?"

rogue tugged on dorien and simners hands pulling them towards one of the pubs.
"three broom sticks sounds good to me."
she said suddenly starving and wanting that drink.

*Dorien smiled a little to himself as he walked with them into The Three Broomsticks* "Very well, thank you." *He said to Simner as Rogue, obviously hungry, dragged them along* "6th year transfiguration's not very challenging....." Because how many times have you graduated from Hogwarts? "But potions is plenty difficult. How's the training coming along?" *He hoped that Simner didn't find it odd that Dorien remembered somehting Simner had mentioned in passing to him once.*

rogue looked at dorien.
"you know him?"
she asked barley above a whisper. wondering how that had happened.
she didn't think dorien went to school. she would tal;k to him later about it.

"Yes, I do." *He grinned, looking at her. He was sure that simner wouldn't be able to see as he flashed his fangs once* "Is that a problem?" *He asked jokingly*

rogue shook her head. she wondered if dorien had bitten simner.
"no"
she said with a half smile.
"how'd you two meet?"
she asked as they ontinued to walk.

"Um, well. I was wondering around the school looking for someone, and I walked into an empty classroom to clear my head, and it turned out it wasn't empty and we struck up a conversation." *He wondered how terribly offbase his attempt at being a normal social teenager was.*

rogue leaned over to him.
"do you still go to hogwarts?"
she asked as she lead them into the pub. taking a seat in a both so simner sta on one side and dorien on the other.

"Yeah....I'm in my 6th year......for about the 23rd time." *He smiled and leaned away from her ear.* "So...what would everyone like to drink....butterbeer...? Something stronger? Hmmm?" *He laughed, letting go a little bit*

rogue sat back and put her elbows on the tabole.
"firewhiskey please....."
she said with a smirk. she planned to get smashed and felt she rightly should. considering the rubbish she just put up with.

"I'll just have a martini... with a twist" he said askwardly. He had begun drinking more cocktails and less harsh drinks. He wasn't allowed fire whiskey any more. "So Rogue... where have you been staying lately?" Simner asked akwardly. He twisted a little in his chair. 'how did Rogue know Dorien?' he wondered again.

rogue looked at simner with a smile.
"martini?"
she asked never knowing simner to drink.
"i'll have a bottle of firewhiskey please"
she ordered and then looked at simner again.
"oh here and there. i never stay in one place for to long....."
she fiddled with a napkin.
"what have you been up too?'
she asked.

"Uhh... Healers school... avoiding Family meetings." * He said, hoping to make amends with Rogue. Kiley too. Simner got a tumbler and glass. He poured out his drink and dropped a small lemon twist into it. He turned to Rogue and blushed.* "Not as heavy as firewhisky.,. and they have a nice taste."

*Dorien leaned back against the wall of the booth, a small smile on his face, enjoying their company. He slid a few coins across the table to the waiter to cover Rogue and Simner's drinks. Dorien didn't order a drink, seeing as anything that he would have wanted wasn't managable

rogue watched simner for a while.
"you know that doesn't change things right? i mean you joined them. you are one of them simner. it should have been you on our side and harshing with them."
she ended in a mutter. her gaze going over too where dorien placed the coins.

"Rogue, that is so unfair! Okay... no it's not... but c'mon I can't change what I did then. I have been doing all I can to get out of it. I know you have given me way more chances then I deserve. Wittle and what not. But you have to believe me" *he said, grabbing her hands in his.*

*Dorien's gaze was pulled immediatly from the cins to Rogue's hands. Dorien's posture stiffened only slightly and his eyes flashed up to Simner before leaning back in his chair again. Dorien's eyes were dark and could appear dangerous, which is exactly what he was going for.*
