Title: Waiting
Description: Rogue
Dorien Hurt - September 13, 2007 09:11 PM (GMT)
*dorien was seated outside of the new headquarters on an old swing set that he figured used to be kiley's. He was looking down at his feet, silently comprehending the situation. It was late at night and he figured that mostly everyone else was asleep. It was starting to get colder out at night, but he obviously didn't notice or mind. Dorien sighed and looked back up to the stars.*

rogue walked up the path to the main head quaters. she had missed the first meeting all because of harshing. she trudged up the steps with her head down in defeat. she hadn't seen dorien sitting in the swing. she decided that she would stay with the resistance wheather she liked it or not. kiley was her friend and she couldn't let her down. nor could she leave her to dela with harshing alone. she was in this as a partner. leaning back against the railing she let out a soft sigh then ran her hand through her short spikey hair.
"bugger"
she mumbled to no one.
Dorien Hurt - September 13, 2007 11:19 PM (GMT)
*Dorien looked up when Rogue walked past him. He smiled to himself and stood, moving quickly and stopping behind her when she relaxed against the railing.* "Out a little late tonight." *He said softly, but enough to make her jump if taken by suprise. His eyes were darker tonight. He hadn't been able to feed recently and it was difficult being close to Rogue when he was thirsty like this. But he seemed to have become a sadist and continued to put himself through this despite how hard it was.*
rogue winters - September 14, 2007 05:27 AM (GMT)
rogue was doing some intense think. aout everything. her mind was fliyyering from one topic to another. when dorien crept up behind her and spooked the life out of her. jumping and pressing her hand to her chest she turned.
"do you always like creeping up on people?"
she asked still calming her nerves. she relaxed against the railing now that she knew it was dorien.
"i was just thinking about......things"
she said her eyes looking black in dark.
"what are you doing out so late?"
she asked. forgetting that he was nocturnal and that he was a vampire.
Dorien Hurt - September 14, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
*Dorien smiled weakly at her reaction.* "It's not late for me." *He reminded her* "There's really nothing else to do at night but think...for me at least....." *Dorien gracefully climbed up over the banister, only using his hands. He leaned against the banister on the other side so he was across from Rogue.* "What were you thinkinh about?" *His voice was soft and pressing as if it was of vital importance.*
rogue winters - September 14, 2007 10:57 PM (GMT)
rogue leaned on her fists and looked up at the sky.
"al little bit of everything really...."
she sighed. then picked at a string on her shirt.
"i still can't believe kiley allowed him to join the resistance. after everything he's done."
she gritted her teeth loud enough for him to hear.
" if you an't tell i have a strong dislike for him."
she sighed again.
"my minds just a whirl wind of thoughts. including my mum....."
looking at dorien in the darkness.
"what was your life like before.........before the change? or were you born a vampire?"
she asked quietly.she wasn't sure if she should broah the subjet of his past but she ouldn't help wondering.
Dorien Hurt - September 14, 2007 11:17 PM (GMT)
"No....I was born a regular human. I don't remember much of my human life...those memories fade over time." *Dorien paused a moment, deciding how much he wanted to say.* "I was born in London in 1878." *He said, looking up at the sky.* "I grew up.....I can gather that I wasn't from a poor family, but not incredibly wealthy either." *He looked over at her to see how she was taking it.* "You know, I've never spoken of this to anyone that wasn't my kind before now." *He felt it necessary to tell her this for some reason, and wanted her to know before he continued with his story.*
rogue winters - September 14, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
rogue watched him intently. she felt honoured that she was the fist living person that he shared this with.
" that means alot to me dorien..."
she said with a slight smile.
"it will not go any further than this area. no further than me."
she wanted to tell him that just so he knew he ould tust her. hoping he did she waited for him to continue with his history.
Dorien Hurt - September 14, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
*Dorien smiled a little, then continued.* "By seventeen, I was dying." *He paused, still looking at her.* "It was the Spanish influenza pandemic....both of my parents had already died and I was left alone in the ward. My creator had been looking for a companion...he was a docter and working night and day in the muggle hospitals trying to help as best he could....he wheeled me off to the ward, figuring I would die anyway, and turned me. With all the chaos, nobody even noticed I was missing." *He paused to hear her comments, still not sure if he wanted to continue with the darker years after he had been changed*
rogue winters - September 14, 2007 11:39 PM (GMT)
rogue was shocked.
"how was the change? did it hurt? why did he change you anyways?"
questions were coming and going at a fast rate.
"it's horrible when someone looses their parents. they didn't suffer to muh did they?"
Dorien Hurt - September 14, 2007 11:46 PM (GMT)
"I don't remember my parents......they died when I was sick and delerious.....had it been under normal circumstances, I may have had a chance of remembering them....probably not..those memories, as I said, fade. My first clear memory is the change....it's the most painful thing you could ever expierence ten times over. He changed me because as a vampire it's dangerous to get close to a human..you're all so fragile..." *He took a step foward and brushed the back of his ice cold hand along her cheek. It lingered for a moment and then dropped to his side* "He wanted a more perminate companion. And he didn't want to steal the life from someone...he knew I would die anyway and had nothing left to loose."
James Sanders - September 15, 2007 12:03 AM (GMT)
((You guys are inside right? Well it doesn't matter))
James walked up to the steps of the large building and knocked lightly twice, than sliding his hand back into his pocket. He glanced around nervously, hopping there weren't a lot of people around. The last thing he needed was to be greeting by a large crowd of people.
Kiley Stewert - September 15, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
ooc: yeah, they're in the back yard I guess.....so we'll just say you came to the front of the house.
ic:
*Kiley heard a knock at the door. She pulled on a sweatshirt over her cami that she slept in, grabbed her wand and muttered lumos. She winced away from the light and stumbled over to the door. Kiley pulled it open, openly mad that she had been woken up in the middle of the night again* "Wha.....oh......hi James...." *She muttered, opening the door a little wider and stepping aside* "It's a little late...." *SHe glanced at her watch. It said it was quarter past one in the morning* "Sorry, a little early....is there any news?" *Kiley realized with dread that something terrible could have happened*
James Sanders - September 15, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
He shook his head and pulled out a pocket watch to check the time himself. Well, what do you know- it was pretty early. "Sorry, I haven't slept in a couple weeks," he said waving his pocket watch around. He placed it back into his pocket and leaned to one side and looked past Kiley and into the house, "So is Rogue here? I haven't seen her in awhile,"
Kiley Stewert - September 15, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)
"She's supposed to be in here." *Kiley said, shutting the door* "She was in here when I went to sleep....she must have gotten up....I'm sure she's around here somewhere though." *Kiley shrugged* "If you need a place to sleep, you could stay here...a lot of people have been. I think we still have room." *Kiley rubbed her eyes with the heel of her hands*
James Sanders - September 15, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
"No it's fine," he said airly, making his way to the back of the house. He seemed to sway a bit as he walked, and his arms swung slightly as they hung at his sides. He didn't try to start a conversation with Kiley as he walked out into backyard. He spotted Rogue instantly, oh wait.. that isn't right- there seemed some large figure beside her. Was he seeing things again? Well it didn't matter.
He approached Rogue, his footsteps crunching on the hard cold ground.
rogue winters - September 15, 2007 05:08 PM (GMT)
rogue shivered from the touch. she wasn't cold.
"to turn someone just because he wanted a companion is horrible."
she tilted her head and studied him for a moment.
"would you have...."
before she ccould finish asking hima question she heard foot steps coming toward them. turning her head she saw james.
"james?"
she asked taking a step towards him. where had he been for the past few weeks? she asked herself. looking from him to dorien she elt a fluttering in her stomach.
"dorien. this is james. james dorien."
she said introducing them. all of a sudden she felt very light headed and confused.
Dorien Hurt - September 16, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
*Dorien tenced slightly. He tore his eyes away from Rogue and looked over at this so called James.* "Pleasure." *He said flatly, debating on whether or not to attack James or go inside. He decided to stay standing next to Rogue, unintentionally coming off as territorial. He had senced the change in emotion from Rogue wen James walked up and it worried him.*
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 01:51 AM (GMT)
((For some reason everyone seems to want to hurt me..))
James wobbled a bit as he stopped in front of the two of them. He looked at each one of them in turn, his eyes lasting a few seconds longer on the boy. Ever pulled 3 all nighters before? Well if you did than you would probally not no what I mean to not know how to say how he feels about not knowing about pulling 3 all nighters.
He took a large step toward Rogue and leaned forward toward her face, turning his head slightly so that his lips almost touched her ear.
"I think he likes you" He whispered
Dorien Hurt - September 16, 2007 02:01 AM (GMT)
ooc: lol, it's really nothing personal.
*Dorien's jaw muscles tightened when James whispered in Rogue's ear. He averted his eyes, glad that James didn't know he could easily hea him, no matter how low he whispered. In a split second he went over a dozen different ways that he could kill James if necessary. He found it hard not to think about it, even if he knew there were probably more than a few people that wouldn't be happy with him if he went all savage on James. Dorien folded his long pale fingers in front of himself, still pretending like he couldn't hear them, unhappy that James had inturrupted them....*
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 02:14 AM (GMT)
OOC: Were-Wolf vs Veteran Auror, Prize: Pretty-Eyed Rogue.
Dorien Hurt - September 16, 2007 02:19 AM (GMT)
ooc: vampire. Kiley's the werewolf.
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 02:21 AM (GMT)
OOC: Vampire? Oh snap, that ain't good.
Dorien Hurt - September 16, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
ooc: lol, what did you think i ment? it says over in my user title 'vampire.'
That could be a possible plot though....when james finds out dorien's a vampire he could freak out and try to keep rogue away from him.
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 02:50 AM (GMT)
OOC: James isn't really the type of person to judge people because they're a werewolf or something. But he'll keep you away anyways due to your little crush. :D.
rogue winters - September 16, 2007 03:52 PM (GMT)
rogue studied him as he wobbled over to her. then whispered in her ear. she refrained from jamming an elbow in his gut. he didn't know dorien could hear him. she blushed for doriens sake and gave him an apologetic smile.
"james!"
she murmured in a whisper. seeing their conversation was disrupted. she looked at dorien.
"is it ok if we talk later?"
she needed to talk to james. she had wondered on many occasions where hehad disappeared to.
Dorien Hurt - September 16, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
"Of course." *Dorien said indifferently before gracefully pushing off from the banister and silently walking off across the dark yard into the shadows without even looking back at Rogue. Of course he liked her. But Rogue could have spared him a lot of trouble if she would have told him about James from the beginning. He was tempted to listen in on their conversation and continued to debate about it as he reached the edge of the forest and climbed into a tree, fuming.*
rogue winters - September 16, 2007 04:06 PM (GMT)
rogue knew he was upset. to say the least. she wanted to run after him and try to explain things, but she didn't know what she would explain. sighing heavily with a frown she turned back to james.
"where have you been?'
she asked wanting to knock him silly. now that she saw he was alive was a big relief. she didn't want to go off the deep end before she knew what had happened and where he had been.
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
"Washroom," He said simply, watching the boy walk away- an odd fellow he was. It could have been the lack of sleep, or maybe an unknown injury to his head; but this was about the only time that he'd ever stood infront of Rogue and not want to get in her pants.
"Besides that, I can't tell you where I've been. Top secret, you know?" He added, his eyes wandering to a small piece of grass in her hair.
rogue winters - September 16, 2007 05:01 PM (GMT)
rogue perched herself on the railing.
"so i'm guessing it was a ministry assignment..."
she muttered looking like a pouting little girl. resting her hands beside her she dropped her head.
"i was worried about you..."
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
James raised an eyebrow, "I was worried about you too, but at that moment I was more worried about myself because If I don't and somehow die than you'd get even more worried if I never came back," He said all at once. He reached out with one hand and placed it on the railing beside Rogue.
"So who's the cutie?"
rogue winters - September 16, 2007 05:22 PM (GMT)
rogue looked down where he placed his hand. noticing a cut she brushed her thumb over it gently.
"i know....."
she muttered knowing what he said was true. looking over her shoulder and into the forest she wished she had had more time to talk to dorien.
"thats dorien....he's part of the resistance."
she didn't say anything to the cutie comment. she saw him as very ute, funny. shaking her head she dispelled the thoughts. she was in for trouble and she knew it. she would let dorien tell james he was a vampire. it wasn't her business to tell anyone.
"are you back for good?"
she asked hoping he was.
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 05:26 PM (GMT)
He shook his head, "I can't say, you know that," he said. He moved his hand from the railing up to brush her hair lightly, "Though every time I'm here I'll do my best to make up for the time I left,"
OOC: I don't see why your ignoring my extremely noticeable run-on and non-making sense sentences.
rogue winters - September 16, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
OOC: hmm why are you doing that?
IC:
rogue smiled.
"that would be nice..."
she shrugged her shoulders.
"but with the resistance and everything i don't think there will be much time to enjoy ourselves."
she said picking at the railing.
"especially with harshing around...."
she growled.
James Sanders - September 16, 2007 10:27 PM (GMT)
His eyes shifted for a second towards Dorien, to see if he was watching them. He slid his hand from her hair to the back of her head and pushed her lightly towards himself. He leaned in close to her, his face inches away.
"There's always time," he whispered.
OOC: >.> Total personality's change there.
rogue winters - September 17, 2007 07:56 AM (GMT)
OOC:
TELL ME ABOUT IT. lol
IC:
rogue knew he was going to kiss her. she wanted him to. she relaxed under the pressure of his hand and her eyes closed half way. slipping her hand to his arm.
"i've missed you..."
she said and suddenly her arms were wrapped around him. hugging him close.
"alot."
she burried her head in his chest. she just wanted to be held. to be reasured that eveything was going to be alright. she needed that. almost everyone would come to her for support and comfort. she needed someone to omfort her.
James Sanders - September 17, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
OOC: Well who knows what happened to James.. His head could be messed up for all I know. Wait.. I do know :D.
James held her close to him, his arms wrapped around her tightly. Oh how he missed the feeling of.. Blah blah.. Warmth... you get the point.
Anyways.. "I've missed you too," He said, deciding weither or not he should fake cry.
Dorien Hurt - September 17, 2007 08:50 PM (GMT)
*For what wasn't the first time in his life, Dorien wished that he couldn't hear what other people were saying. He knew he couldn't leave the grounds of the headquarters, but he wished more than anything that he could. Rogue had led him on and it hurt. Ballenced perfectly on one of the upper branches, Dorien had his head bowed and was holding it in between his hands, fruitlessly attempting to block out the conversation between Rogue and James.*
James Sanders - September 17, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
rogue winters - September 17, 2007 10:55 PM (GMT)
rogue still didn't know why he hadn't left a note or message saying he was leaving for a while. she pushed back from him and crossed her arms in front of her.
"you still could have left a note or something saying you were leaving."
she looked down at the ground then pushed away from the railing and walked around the porch.
"eh it doesn't matter."
she leaned against the wall.
"so you can't tellme where you went or what you did?"
