*Alex had just been sent out of his class for fighting with another one of the students. They had asked him where his family (i.e. Mel, Ian, etc.) had gone. He had been on the edge all day, but that pushed him to the limit and he ended up sending curse after curse (and not just magical ones) at the boy who had simply wanted an answer. He had detention every night for a week. He didn't care, he wasn't even going to go.
His entire family had left him just like that. They had abandoned him completely and totally. Mel and Liam had taken Mark and Becky with them when they went to join The Family and Kiley and Ian had gone with The Resistance. He was livid beyond belief, and it showed. He never talked to anyone anymore (if he could help it). If a teacher asked him a question, he ignored it and got in trouble. If someone else talked to him, he ignored them. Sometimes he did fight with people just because he was getting so p*ssed that he couldn't help it.
He had become catatonic, and by that I mean he would probably have been diagnosed with catatonia, not just described that way.
He was sitting on the floor in a corridor, just staring, thinking of nothing but how much he hated Mel and Ian for leaving him like they did. He didn't want to talk to anybody, but it was inevitable that someone would approach him.*

Flame was bunking off of lessons- again. Indeed it was rare for he rot turn up at any lessons these days- there was noone here who had a single drop of influence over her. They may think they did but even Grand Sentinus, who she had pledged her loyalty to, could not actually control her. Noone could anymore for Harshing, or so it seemed, had disappeared and she was glad of it- she loved freedom.
As she walked down the corridor like she believed herself of uttermost importance she saw a boy. If she had recognised him as having any relation to mel she'd have turned and walked off, for it was well-known that those two disagreed on a number of subjects- nearly every subject and she could not be bothered with another badgering know-it-all.
She walked over, looking down at him snidely for, as a pureblood Slytherin she had been raised that she was better than people in the other houses and should treat them lower than herself. "What you doin in my corridor?" Her voice was cold and arrogant, as it had always been.
*Alex ignored Flame, thinking that, if he didn't ever show that he knew she was there, she would go away and leave him alone. Of course that wasn't how it would actually happen, but he was going to give it a try.*
OOC: Sorry, lousy post.
